What was I doing here again? A strip club of all places? Oh right. My friend forced me.
'Oh, don't be such a debbie-downer girl. Cheer up Darcy! Enjoy yourself while you can! YOLO.'
My best friend, Taylor said from across the table, as she eye fucked the semi-nude women, and continued sipping on her drink. I giggled, before mentally rolling my eyes, and getting up to order another drink. I was far to sober for this. I started making my way to the bar on the other end of the club.
'Where are you going?' Taylor called out after me, 'Don't follow me,' I called back, flipping her off with a chuckle.
I heard her laugh fade, as I approached the bar in the corner of the strip club. There were three bartenders', two were free, so I signed for one to take my order. Immediately he made his way over to me. God damn.
'Brown ale please.' I requested. He gave me a sharp nod, and started preparing my drink.
Even he was sexy. I sighed heavily. When would I ever get a hot boyfriend like half of the men here? I stretched out my arms behind my head and let my mind wonder. His back was strongly built, you could see the defined muscles through his tight black button up shirt. He definitely worked out. I huffed; I'd let him wreck me.
'Here's your drink, ma'am.' I snap back into reality, as he hands me my drink. His veiny hand slightly skimming mine in the act. He goes to turn around and serve another person. But I just had to know who is this guy?
'Excuse me!' I called, he turns around, approaching where I'm sitting at the bar again, and rests his crossed elbows on the table, then gazes into my eyes.
'Hm?' He says, intensity flow through his stare.
Holy shit, this man was giving me goosebumps.
'What's your name?' I flustered, removing my eyes from his, and averting it to my drink, I took a long sip, and licked my lips, before placing my ogling gaze back to his dark forest green eyes.
'Jerrico.' He took a deep breath, before leaning into my ear, 'the cute ones call me Jay.' His husky voice tickled my ear, and I slightly flinched.
'O-oh, okay, Jerr-' before I finished he cut in.
'Call me Jay.' He winked at me, and looked behind him, as another costumer waited for his assistance.
'Just a second Buddy, I'll be right there.' He informs the older bloke.
He doesn't talk, he merely looks at me and walks away.
I scatter off to the bathroom, in need of my best friend.
‘D, what stall are you in?’ Taylor askes, thank God my home girl came to my rescue.
‘The last one,’ I reply back, unlocking the door so she can come in.
‘What happened? Girl, your beet red’ I avoid eye contact, and clasp my hands over my heated face.
‘I think I like someone Tay Tay...’ I gap my fingers, to peek through. Her eyes widen in shock.
I removed my hands and tilted my head. ‘What?’
'Like, actual ‘like, like’, or like ‘I want to fuck them’ like?′
'I-I don’t know... Help me Tay. He is so hot, I want to ask him out on a date... but, I just don’t know how to...′ My voice rasps.
'Okay, D, we are getting you home right now and gossiping. You have to tell me EVERYTHING. Girl, EVERYTHING. Show me this baddie on the way out, okay?′ She extends her hand, and I take it, getting off the toilet seat. I quickly touch up my make-up, and so does Taylor. We make our way to the bar. My wacky friend stumbling beside me.
‘The ash blonde one’, I nodded at him to show her who I was meaning. She gave me a devilish smirk and ran up to the bar like it was nothing, before saying, 'Yo! Blonde ash guy, come ‘ere!’...Great.
‘What would you like?’ He asked, before he spotted me, and gave a slight nod. He looked back at my friend and waited for her response. She pretended to study the drinks behind her, until...
‘I want you to fuck my dear friend over here.’ She grinned holding in her demonic laughter. She looked back at me, and mouthed, ‘Let me work my magic.’
Shit.
His lip twitched, and his eyes widened. ‘Sorry?’
Oh, shit. He clearly felt uncomfortable.
'You see she really likes you, so I was wondering-′
Shit, shit, shit!
Before Taylor could finish, I snatched her arm and dragged her away.
‘I am so sorry, Jerr- Jay.’ I corrected myself, flashing a sympathetic look before telling him to have a good night. I made my way out of the club with my best friend linked between my arms.
‘What the fuck? You were meant to help me, not make him hate me! I can’t believe you.’ I shook my head in disbelief and summoned a taxi.
‘Sorry, D...’ She apologized to me before we got into the taxi.
The rest of the ride was silent on the way home.
It had been a few weeks since she embarrassed me Infront of this jaw dropping guy. Taylor started her new job at this coffee shop today, and I promised her that I would come visit sometime. And today I was really feeling like a coffee. Not the shit ones that I make though...
So, I got up and showered. I got ready by putting some baggy jeans on, a tight turtleneck, and some Mocco's and made my way towards the door.
It was only a few minutes down the road from where I lived so that was convenient. I arrived not long after, and I was greeted by a warm smile from a female staff.
I liked it here already. Making my way up to the counter my lungs got intoxicated by the fresh stench off coffee beans, and milk, yum.
'What can I get you ma'am?' A familiar voice asked me as I studied the menu on the bench.
'Hm, just a large, iced coffee please!' I smiled, still studying the menu.
They even sold crates here...De-lish! What didn't this place have?
'Take away, or reserve?' The employee asked tapping away at the touchpad.
'Reserve, thank you.' I answered back. I don't know why but I was looking everywhere but at the gentleman serving.
'I'll bring out your order when it's done. Table 34 ma'am.' I gave a warm smile at the guy. He had already turned around and started making my coffee.
That's a shame. He sounded sexy...and single.
I made my way over to my table and pondered where was Tay? Maybe I got the wrong hours. I pulled out my phone and double checked the screenshot she had sent me earlier.
Nope. Right hours. So, where the hell was she? I was so immersed in my phone I didn't even notice the young man was standing at my table ready to give me my drink.
'Here's your drink Ma'am,' I clicked off my phone, and looked up at the man to thank him, as he handed me my order.
