Summary

Twelve months ago a doomed relationship began. The only male offspring of the Vampire High Lord Keiran Reichson and the daughter of König Blitzhände were never meant to meet, much less fall in love. To love the other was verboten. Thus the age old question again arises, why? Simply put, if a magician and vampire create a child-like being, that child could end up taking over both kingdoms and, so the story goes, bring them both to ruin. Would the child be undead with more magical abilities than any mage or vampire ever dreamed? Or would the child be a mage full of blood-lust and vampiric tendencies? Abilities that have long since disappeared could reappear in a child of this sort. Would it be able to control more than one element, as the founding mages of Magische Welt could? Would it be able to speak with animals and have them do his or her bidding as did the vampires of old? Nobody knew then, and nobody wanted to find out now. Vampires and Magicians mingle all the time. Vampires visit the other-dimensional world of the Magicians, and Magicians enjoy visiting the human world that the vampires inhabit (though they tend to stay in/around Iceland, just to be safe). A New Kind of Storm

At 8:00pm, the storm started. This was a magical storm, brought on by the abilities of magicians and vampires. This could be the last full moon either world ever sees. What brought this storm on, you ask? The catalyst started long before tonight. Twelve months ago, a doomed relationship began. This was not your run-of-the-mill relationship either. We’re talking about Agnar Keiranson, the only male offspring of the Vampire High Lord Keiran Reichson, of Midborg, Iceland and Princess Schönes Gesicht (Beautiful Face), daughter of König Blitzhände (King Lightning Hands) of the other-dimensional German kingdom, Magische Welt.

These two were never meant to meet, much less fall in love! Now all hell has broken loose. The rain comes down in torrents, so much so that you can’t see 3 feet in front of you. The lightning, oh the lightning! It strikes multiple places at once, without a care as to who may be on the receiving end. Wolves are howling and bats are diving. These animals seem to be at war with the sky, and neither looks to be winning. Anger and disappointment permeate the rulers of these kingdoms. Nobody knows exactly who, or what, is behind this potentially lethal storm.
