Chapter 1: Indigo
’Looking for:
A one night stranger.
Nothing is off limits.
Mask required.’
It’s by now 1:34, the amount of times I have re-written my message, no longer countable on one hand. Getting dumped is one thing, finding out he was cheating, that’s a whole different thing. Archer, he did seems nice in the beginning, cracks started to show in his mask pretty early, but like an idiot, I ignored all the red flags. Believe me, he is a living, breathing walking red flag. Nothing I did was good enough, my clothes were not up to his taste, my dreams were dumb and childish and my taste in the bedroom were to freaky for his taste.
So he decided to sleep around behind my back, getting his dick sucked off in the car and fucking random girls in the bathroom of the only club in town was more to his taste. My best friend was right, he was a pathetic prick, wasting his daddy’s money on partying instead of studying. But I fell for his looks and sweet talk, now I have to live with the fact that I wasted seven months of my life with him. “Indigo, enough with the self-pity, you are a woman on a mission right now” I mutter to myself, still pondering over this one simple message. ’Looking for one night without boundaries, masks required.’ Getting frustrated with myself, I just hit send, throwing my phone on the bed, having looked enough on it for tonight. It’s late and I do have to get to work later today, so I change into a large shirt before letting myself fall into bed, hoping sleep will come soon for me.
The bell above the bookshop door jingled softly as I locked up, the last customer having departed hours ago. A comfortable silence settled over the space, a hushed symphony of rustling pages and the distant hum of the city. The usual whirlwind of energy within me seemed to have stilled, replaced by an unexpected stillness, making me reluctant to leave.
I wander among the towering shelves, my fingers tracing the spines of worn leather-bound classics and brightly colored paperbacks. The scent of old paper and forgotten stories hung heavy in the air, a comforting aroma that always seemed to transport me to another world.
I pulled out one of the newest releases, its pages filled with pure and dirty smut. As I begin to read, the worries of the day faded away. I was no longer Indigo, the bookshop assistant, but simply another sinner in the beauty of words.
Hours slipped by unnoticed. The clock on the wall ticked away, each chime a gentle reminder of the fleeting time. I, however, was oblivious, completely lost in a labyrinth of hot man and masks, each line gave my pussy a new heartbeat.
Finally, a distant rumble of thunder shook me from my reverie. I look up, startled, to see the sky outside the window ablaze with lightning, rain lashed against the glass.
With a sigh, I reluctantly closed the book. I glanced at the clock – it was past midnight. I had completely lost track of time. A wave of guilt washed over me, but it was quickly replaced by a sense of wonder.
I had spent the evening not just working, but truly living. Luckily I had found an escape for the shit show I call life, the realization of how fucked up my past few days have been. Masked man and their “unhealthy” obsession for the MFC, is just what I needed.
As I finally switch off the lights and lock the door, a single tear traces a path down my cheek. It was a tear of joy, knowing that my life might be shit now, but I will get my happy ever after some day.
The rain was coming down in sheets as I hurried down the deserted street, my heart still buzzing with the heartbeat in my clit. I shivered, pulling my jacket tighter around me. Reaching my apartment, I fumbled with the keys, my mind still reeling from the evening’s unexpected wave of hornyness.
Inside, I poured myself a large mug of hot chocolate and curled up on the sofa, the warmth of the drink a welcome comfort against the chill of the evening. Pulling out my phone, I dialed my best friend, Sage.
“Hey Sage, I did a thing last night ,” I began, my voice a bit shaky.
“Spill the tea, girl,” Sage replied, her voice full of excitement. “Did you finally read Velka Manor?“
“I think you would say it’s better than that,” I chuckled, recounting my struggle typing out an easy message. “I send in an message via KinkMeet.”
Sage listened intently, her laughter echoing through the phone. “Sounds like you had an awakening. You know, sometimes I wonder how you will find anyone who will match your taste.”
“You’re right,” I agreed, a nervous giggle escaping my lips. “It is up there now, so all I can do is wait”
After some drinks, Sage chuckles. “Remember that time we tried to make homemade pizza and ended up setting off the smoke alarm?” she ask, not able to contain her laughter now.
I grin, “Oh my god, yes! And then we had to pretend we were calmly investigating the ‘sudden influx of smoke’ while frantically fanning the apartment.” I squeal of laughter
The memory, despite the circumstances, brought a smile to my face. It was a reminder that even in the midst of heartbreak, there was still joy to be found.
“See?” Sage says, “You’re incredible, Indigo. You’re funny, you’re kind, you’re talented, and you have the most infectious laugh I know. Archer? He’s lucky he even got a glimpse of your amazingness. There are so many incredible men out there who would be lucky to have you.”
“I know,” I sighed, but a flicker of hope ignited within me. Sage was right.
“Now,” Sage declared, “let’s celebrate your newfound freedom! We should go out. This weekend. And we’re going to have so much fun, that idiot will be kicking himself all the way to the moon.”
I smiled, “Thanks, Sage. You’re the best.”
“Anytime, girl. Now, let’s forget about that cheating asshole and focus on something more important. What are you going to read next?”
And now, the conversation shifted to a whole different level. As I listen to Sage, talking about her latest favorite, my mind starting drifting. “Indy, you still with me?” Sage’s voice calls out to me, snapping me back to reality. “Oh yeah, I was just thinking and maybe I was getting horny in the process” I laugh, feeling my cheeks heat. “Guess I will hang up, so you can have some well-deserved self-care girl.” She chuckles before hanging up on me, leaving me staring at my phone and horny. Maybe she is right, I do deserve some self care.
He appeared as if summoned by the very depths of my longing. A figure cloaked in darkness, his face obscured by a mask that seemed to shift and change with the play of light and shadow. There was an aura of danger about him, a wildness that both terrified and exhilarated me.
He spoke in a voice that was a silken caress against my skin, a low rumble that vibrated deep within me. ”Lost, little mouse?” he purred, his hand brushing against my cheek, sending shivers down my spine.
I was mesmerized, unable to tear my gaze away from him. “Yes,” I whispered, my voice barely audible. “Lost in a forest of my own making.”
He chuckled, a sound that was both predatory and playful. ”Then let me be your guide, little mouse.”
His touch was like fire, igniting a blaze within me. He pulled me closer, his lips brushing against mine in a tentative exploration. The kiss deepened, a passionate dance of tongues and teeth. My hands tangled in his hair, pulling him closer still.
He tasted of the forest – of damp earth and pine needles, of the wildness that pulsed through his veins. I tasted of forbidden fruit, of a desire that had been awakening within me, a yearning for the unknown.
He pushed me against the rough bark of a tree, his body pressed against mine, his heat searing through my clothes. My breath hitched as he unbuttoned my shirt, his fingers tracing the curve of my ribs.
The world around us faded away, replaced by a symphony of sensations. His touch was a whirlwind, a tempest that swept me away, leaving me breathless and yearning for more.
He whispered against my ear, his voice a husky growl, ”You are mine, little mouse.”
And in that moment, I didn’t care. I was lost in him, body and soul, consumed by the fire of his desire.
My taste in books are going to ruin me for any future partner.
Or are there more freaks and sinners like me?
