While Foster was growing up, it was normal for children of neighboring clans to disappear. He always thought they had moved away or were stuck at home being bored. It wasn’t until he was twenty that he understood what was really behind the vanishing of every type of shifter in his world. Before he reached thirty, half of his relatives and friends were gone, so it was only natural that he joined the Shifter Alliance and did his part to help all of the clans in Canada. He didn’t care if they were legal ones or rogue groups; every single shifter out there should be able to live in peace without maniacs collecting them like novelty cards. It turned his stomach to think of them treated like pets or worse. He wasn’t a hero and warrior like many of the men and women who fought for the Alliance were, but he was exceptional at running fast and hiding better than anyone he knew. If those skills were useful, he’d use them along with his sense of humor and boyish good looks. He tried not to dwell on the worse parts he’d heard about or witnessed, or he’d lose all ambition to stay on the road and do the endless hours needed to help balance the scales in favor of any being with more than one form.
Author’s note:
I know I’ve said it before, but I need to thank all of my readers in my FB reader’s group. You guys are absolutely amazing. Your support and comradery make every second I put into my books and writing world worth it. I’m also pretty sure you would step up and slay dragons for me if it ever came down to it.
Thank you! ♥

In Jacqueline Paige’s Animal Senses Series, hearts and tempers collide with wild passions and animal instincts.
Animal shifters live among normal humans (one-forms) and have since the dawn of time. They blend in without any cause for notice until a crime organization finds out and starts hunting them to sell off across the globe.
The shifter alliance is formed to protect all their kind. Their teams are working endlessly to rescue all of theirs from lives of servitude and shutting down any involvement in the underground organization.
The first four books in the Animal Senses Series are free to read on Inkitt.
With the subscription, you can read more of this series.
As of January 2025, the 17th Animal Series book has been added. As I am starting a new series, there won't be a new book posted for the Animal Senses every other month. Feel free to pause and track on my FB when they are coming out, or continue to enjoy the books for second (or more read). ❤️

I have read a lot of books on different platforms. Some of them had a good story line but riddled with bad grammar or spelling. Mine is not perfect, but glaring mistakes take away from the illusion the words create. Your series has been an amazing experience. Until I found this app I reread the first 14 books at least three times. I was overjoyed to finally find more! Please, keep up the good work!!!
