Ark 1 - The begining chapter : 1-5 chapter - That time when life got changed

Legend:

In ancient times, when the world was ruled by chaos, a creature named Deramasu emerged from the darkness. This monster, the embodiment of evil, destroyed the world and consumed all life. Rivers dried up and burned, forests withered, and nations fell into despair.

When all hope seemed lost, two heroes rose: Tomaru, the ruler of the Moon, and Tema, the ruler of the Sun. These warriors, known as the first Muteky, joined forces to face Deramasu.

Tomaru, who controlled water and weather, and Tema, who commanded fire and the growth of nature, fought a long and devastating battle against Deramasu. The earth trembled under their power, mountains crumbled and rose again, and oceans split in two. In the end, they defeated Deramasu and sealed his dark power deep within the earth.

However, after their victory, a desire for absolute power began to grow in Tomaru’s heart. He believed that if he combined the powers of the Sun and Moon, he would become an invincible god. This ambition, however, divided the two heroes.

Tema, who wished to protect the world, was forced to stand against Tomaru. In the fierce battle that followed, Tema defeated Tomaru and stripped him of his power. To prevent anyone from attempting to claim this power again, he divided the elements of the Sun and Moon into five smaller forces: Fire, Water, Wind, and Lightning. Each of these elements was scattered across the world to maintain balance.

However, Tema knew that Tomaru’s thirst for power had not disappeared—it had only been silenced. Before he vanished from the world, he left behind a prophecy:

“One day, Tomaru will return to reclaim his power. When that day comes, the world will fall into chaos, and darkness will consume the lands once more. None of the old Muteky will be able to stop him. The only one who can stand against Tomaru is a child with bright red hair.”

Childhood in the Village:

In the small village of Mitsuky, hidden between green hills and dense forests, lived one of the greatest blacksmiths, Katsura. His skilled and strong hands crafted weapons from steel and stone that were renowned across the land. Katsura had a wife, Ami, and together they raised three children who meant everything to them.

Kendo, the eldest son, was born with a remarkable trait—bright red hair that immediately caught everyone’s attention. The local legend said that someone with such hair was destined for greatness. Many considered him the chosen one, but Katsura and Ami always tried to keep their children away from the spotlight. They wanted them to grow up as normal children, without the burden of fate placed upon them by the world.

Matarochi, unlike his older brother, never felt the pressure to stand out. He felt most comfortable in silence and nature, where his thoughts could grow freely without obstacles. His childhood was filled with games in the forest, where he and Tamako often made up stories about heroes protecting the world from evil. Although Matarochi was often overshadowed by Kendo, his love for nature and simple things gave him a sense of peace that helped him overcome his inner doubts.

Kendo, from a young age, was determined to protect his family. He always tried to be strong, ready to accept the responsibility placed upon him, and to shield his younger siblings—Matarochi and Tamako. Matarochi, his younger brother, was quiet and reserved, often fading into Kendo’s shadow. With his gentle nature, he rarely joined in the games and joys of other children. While Kendo was the center of attention, Matarochi always felt less special. However, this never discouraged him; it only strengthened his belief that his path would be different.

The youngest of the siblings, Tamako, was completely different from her brothers. With her innocence and unstoppable laughter, she was the heart of the household. She always found a way to lift spirits and spread joy. Her courage made her fearless, and despite being younger than Kendo and Matarochi, her spirit was strong. Sometimes, it seemed like she was the only one who could bring light to the darkest moments.

Katsura and Ami tried to raise their children with the same values—to cherish family, nature, and their roots. However, Kendo always felt like a natural leader. As the eldest son, he bore the responsibility of protecting his younger siblings, and this became his life’s mission. Whenever Matarochi felt lonely or uncertain, Kendo was always there to encourage him.

“You don’t have to be like me, Matarochi,” he would often say. “But always stand up for what’s right. And I’ll be here to protect you.”

Kendo learned that protecting his family wasn’t just about fighting, but also about showing love, patience, and understanding. His relationship with Matarochi was unique—Kendo knew that his brother would never seek attention, but he also understood that Matarochi had a strength within him that he had yet to discover.

Life in Mitsuky was peaceful and full of love. Matarochi, Kendo, and Tamako grew up surrounded by nature, in harmony with everything around them. Kendo always ensured that his younger siblings felt safe. He was their support, even though he was never completely sure what it meant to be the chosen one. For him, the most important thing was having a family to protect.

Even though Kendo was the chosen one, he never wanted to feel like a hero. He accepted his role with humility, but he also knew that one day, his path could change. And Matarochi? His destiny was still shrouded in mystery. With each passing day, a new strength grew within him—one he had yet to learn how to control.

Barbarian Attack:

Years passed, and life in the village of Mitsuky continued unchanged. Kendo, now seventeen, had grown into a strong and determined young man, always ready to protect his family. Matarochi, at fifteen, was beginning to awaken to his true power, although he still faced doubts about what role he would play in life. Tamako, at twelve, remained a lively and tireless presence, bringing light and laughter to everyday life. The family was strong, bound by an invisible but inseparable bond. It was on a night when the village was preparing for the celebration of the holy light—a ritual meant to bring blessings and prosperity for the coming year. Villagers gathered in the square, dancing, singing, and preparing food to be served during the festivities. Katsura, Ami, and their children sat in their home, excited for the day ahead. Kendo stood by the window, watching as lights appeared in the distance, signaling the arrival of villagers from neighboring areas. The joy in the village, however, did not last long. Suddenly, alarm bells rang, signaling that something was wrong. Loud cries could be heard in the distance, and soon barbarian warriors appeared on the horizon— a group of wild fighters from unknown lands. Their eyes burned with a thirst for power, and their weapons—long swords, spears, and bows—were ready for battle. The village descended into chaos as the barbarians began destroying property and attacking innocent villagers. Kendo, who immediately sensed the danger, grabbed his weapon and rushed toward the exit. “Tamako, Matarochi, hide!” he called out in a calm but firm voice, making sure his words reached his younger siblings. Kendo was ready to face the enemy head-on, but above all, he wanted his family to be safe. Matarochi immediately looked at Kendo, who already had his weapon ready. There was something different in his eyes—not fear, but determination. In that moment, he knew it was time for more than just watching from the sidelines. “Kendo, I... I can handle it,” Matarochi said, even though he knew his abilities were still in the early stages. But his determination and strong sense of responsibility for his family pushed him forward. “No, Matarochi,” Kendo replied firmly yet gently. “Hide and stay safe. We’ll handle this.” Tamako, always brave and full of life, wasn’t about to give up so easily. “I want to help!” she shouted. “I won’t let you fight alone!” Her voice was full of resolve, even though she knew the danger they were facing. Her heart raced, but nothing would stop her. Kendo looked at her with love but also concern. “Not now, Tamako. You need to stay safe.” Matarochi and Tamako quickly moved to the back of the house, where they found a small hiding place. Tamako stood by the window, watching the warriors who were only a few steps away from the village. She felt her adrenaline rise, but she knew she had to stay quiet and wait. Matarochi sat on the ground, his head lowered, his thoughts scattered. This was the first time he had faced such danger. He knew he had some power within him, but he hadn’t yet learned to control it. The chaos unfolding before his eyes seemed like a trial. His brother Kendo, his role model and protector, was fighting—but what could he do? How could he help? Kendo stood at the head of a group of villagers preparing for battle. He knew the village had no chance against the barbarians unless they were organized and ready to defend responsibly. “Stick together! Defend your homes!” Kendo shouted, rallying the villagers as they began to form their defense. At the forefront of the barbarian group was the feared warrior Baruk, a towering man known for his incredible strength and brutality. His weapon was a massive axe capable of piercing any shield. He was relentless, merciless, and his army of wild warriors pressed into the village, maintaining their terrifying reputation. Kendo fought with all his might, aware that he must protect not only his family but the entire village. Each strike was precise and deadly, but he knew that if the village was to survive, they would have to face an even greater danger.
