EVERLEY’S POV

, i could feel the blood on my wrists pouring slowly on the forest’s cold ground. i tried to wipe my tears, but i just caused the blood on my arms to spread on my face.

i got up, holding against a tree, slowly walking , feeling my head pounding. as i took more steps, i saw it. it was an old bridge. i came closer to it and studied to see the height of this bringe. it was at least 15 feet tall

i put my foot on the bridges edge, looking down , tears rolling on my cheeks

here i was . i could end it here. they could never hurt me again. i could live a happy life in heaven.

i got more closer to the edge, ready to do it. i was ready

i jumped. a hand catched the back of my t shirt, pulling me away from death . then i blanked out.

SOPHIES POV

I was just taking a late night walk into the forest when i heard something making some weird noise. i followed that noise, and for sure, my mom would have killed me if she found out that im in the forest by my myself, following some random noise, but whatever. i dont really like my mom. and i knew this forest very well , i grew up playing here and climbing in the trees.

i headed to the bridge, and then i saw her. it was a skinny, black haired girl. and she was about to jump, to kill herself. i dont know why, i could just let her do that. it’s her life, tho

but i couldn’t. before i knew, i was near the edge of the bridge, grabbing her by her hoodie and pulling her away from de death. she looked at me with fear, and i could see some deep cuts across her wrists.

Probably because the blood lost, she fainted into my arms

I lifted her, and in my surprize , she was extremely light-weighted. and when i say extremely, i mean that i could feel her bones

i caried her to my car and placed her in the back seat. my home its really close to the forest so it was a 10 minute drive.

to my surprize, my mom wasn’t angry that i brought a stranger person full of blood in her house. she helped me clean her arms, change her into new clothes and put her on my bed, letting her sleep peacefully.

all the night i sat there, on a chair next to my bed, watching her and crying, because who in a world would to that to someone, who in the world would make a teenager end up like
