Chapter 1-The Legend
Long, Long ago, there was a legend talking about “The Golden Dragon”. It wasn’t just a legendary animal, it was also the ruler of all animals. People during the ancient times in China often spoke about the legend. The Golden Dragon has the ability to heal the injured and cure the sick. Those that tried to kill the great dragon would be turned into stone. Where the dragon lived deep in the mountains of Wei Shen, there would be traps set up to stop those that were not allowed to be in the mountains. 3 yrs later, when Wan became emperor after his father’s death, he swore to find the golden dragon and use its abilities to make him a stronger ruler. But he didn’t know that he would never be able to find the dragon. In order to find the dragon, you must have a pure heart. 3,000 people all over the world try to find the dragon and the source of the power. Ever since Chen found out about the golden dragon, he swore to do whatever he can to find the dragon. Some have said that the dragon could also turn into a human to better protect his identity. Finding the dragon is a hard task, but someone must do it. Both of the dragon’s parents were murdered by hunters that would seek to kill dragons as a trophy. Ever since then the dragon decided to stay out of the public eye, whatever happened to the people in the village wasn’t his responsibility. If you pledge yourself to the golden dragon, you will in fact be a part of his army. Many people were healed by dragon’s power in the year 1820 when Wan’s great-great-grandfather was still emperor of China. There are some people that are nothing but hungry for power and in the end power is the thing that will kill you. It’s sad that no one cares about the well-being of the dragon.
