Help! I was the High Mage of a prestigious elven kingdom- And now I'm in Burnley?!

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

Mairwen Lurista is the well respected and extremely studious High Mage of Luncestira, one of the most powerful elven kingdoms in Celemoras. One morning, he receives a strange spellbook, and one spell and a puff of smoke later, he finds himself...in the north English town of Burnley?! Upon entering this strange new world, he stumbles -well, more like crashes- into dorky computer science college student, Alec Harrison. With nowhere else to go, he ends up staying with Alec in his flat. The two become friends, and the more time they spend with each other, the closer they become. Maybe they even end up...falling in love?! A super cringey story written by some social recluse teenager in their bedroom New chapter releases every Saturday!

Author's Note! ~☆

Hey, Silly here! I would just like to say that this story is cliché, cringey, silly and stupid. The title is meant to be satirical by the way. You’ve read the title, you’ve read the description and now you’re reading the story- which, may I say, thank you! But please do not expect good quality writing from this. There’s gonna be spelling and grammar mistakes because no matter how much I proof read, some slip-ups still get through- sorry! I’m just a teenager rambling away on my notes app on either the bus or in my bedroom, writing about a gay little elf mage getting teleported to Burnley -out of all places- and falling in love. At first, this story was meant to be a silly, sort-of-parody of your stereotypical isekai story: Instead of a regular human from our world getting transported to a fantasy world, what if a mage from a fantasy kingdom came to our world? Specifically, Burnley- because it was funny. The more I’ve written about it, the more serious (I use ‘serious’ VERY lightly, it’s still dumb as hell) the story became. It’s still partially for the bit, but I really am enjoying writing this. Also, I did draw the cover! It’s a bit janky since it isn’t my usual rendering style- But, if you want to support my art (drawing is more my thing than writing) you can follow me on Tiktok, Instagram, Tumblr and Pinterest under the same username: sillyb1lly35. Anyways, enough of my waffle for now. I really hope you enjoy reading this!
