Unknown Cordiality

Being the class president is a lot of work. Although, the plus side is when one knows their students. But that was until an invisible student came to everyone's attention. One student that no one had ever thought of. That student has been in their school for years, yet was barely talked to. That student, is unknown.

It began on a sunny day morning, in Geneva, Switzerland. A girl was writing her assignment at Geneva High School. Charlotte Silva. She had dark brown hair, long layered hair with bangs, and hazel green eyes. She was wearing a short-sleeved dark blue jeans jacket, a white and black striped shirt, a pair of black jeans, and white and red sneakers. She was the class president of her class.

A companion said her name behind her. She looked back and greeted him with a friendly "hey." She asked if he had done all his homework. He assured her that he had.

"You've said this before, but anytime the teacher asks if you've done it, you stutter and make a fool of yourself in front of the class." Charlotte wasn't convinced. With a sly smirk, he pointed out that she knew him well. He stood up and was about to ask her if she would have preferred to hang out after school.

Nevertheless, a student stepped in. Dustin Webb. He had light blonde hair, a spiky hairstyle, and blue-grey eyes. He was wearing a white shirt, a pair of dark grey sweatpants, and black sneakers. He stood in front of him and threatened if he asked her, he would be pounded him. The student glared and said that he at least did his assignment.

"That's a blatant lie and everyone in this class knows it! I'm the one who did my assignment!" Dustin confidently said. "Yet when the teacher asks you that question, you'll laugh like a moron." Charlotte placed her head on her palm on the table. Dustin was shocked by that reply and stuttered.

Charlotte sighed and told everyone in class that if they hadn't done their assignment, they wouldn't leave the class until they did their assignment.

"Well, I've done my assignment. Does that mean I could leave?" One student asked. Charlotte with closed eyes told him that he could.

He stood up and began walking out of the class. Charlotte opened her eyes and had a little surprised look. She noticed she didn't know who she was talking to. He had light brown hair, a brushed-back faded hairstyle, and cornflower blue eyes. He was wearing a black silk jacket, a white shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and black and white sneakers. Flynn Avery. Charlotte watched him walk out of class.

While everyone was yelling and causing chaos around her, all she thought about was the mysterious classmate she just told to. She immediately stood up. Everyone stopped arguing and watched her run out of class.

"Was she blushing just now because of me?" Dustin asked himself. "No, no one would ever blush to you." A fellow classmate replied. "No one asked you, moron!" Dustin yelled in reply.

While Flynn was walking away, Charlotte was running after him. She yelled his name. Flynn didn't stop walking. Charlotte noticed he didn't listen. The second she caught up to him, she stopped and held his shoulder. Flynn noticed and turned around. He noticed Charlotte was looking right at him. He greeted her with a friendly "hey."

He apologised for not stopping, not knowing she was chasing him or yelling for him. Charlotte assured him that it was no worries.

"You're Flynn Avery, right? I don't mean to sound rude, but how come I've never known you? Between everyone in the class, I know their hobbies, struggles, superpowers, and such! But you... all I know is your name." Charlotte said. With a sly smirk on Flynn's face, he chuckled and told her that he was quite the opposite. Charlotte looked confused.

"For me, I know a lot of things about you, but nothing about my classmates. I know your favourite hobby is baking, your struggle is biking, and your superpowers, though your main is communication." Flynn listed the things he knew about Charlotte. She felt shocked. She never told him any of this. She felt the need to ask how he knew all of this. Flynn told her that she and their class speak a lot. He pointed out that she told so much about herself to different students many times, that he couldn't forget about it.

Charlotte looked down and felt upset for not knowing anything about Flynn, despite the fact he knew so much about her. She apologised for not talking to him all this time. "I'm sorry that I know nothing about you..." Charlotte said. "Well, I'm sure you'll figure it out soon. I'll tell you what, figure out my favourite hobby, my struggle, and a superpower of mine, I'll let you know more things about me." Flynn requested.

Charlotte looked shocked. Nonetheless, she smirked and accepted the challenge. They both shook on it. As they stopped, she asked where was he going after class. "To my favourite hobby. Though I'm sure you still haven't finished your assignment to come along, right?' Flynn smirked. "That's right, I didn't!" Charlotte noticed.

She smiled normally and told him that it was nice meeting him. "And don't you worry, I'll figure out some things about you! Just you wait!" Charlotte said. "Sure. Until then, I'll remain unknown. See ya later." Flynn said.

He began walking away. Charlotte couldn't believe it. She met someone new. It's been so long since she met someone knew. However, she noticed that she was blushing. She shook her head swiftly and was breathing heavily. She didn't know what she was feeling for Flynn. She never experienced this feeling with anyone. Not until... she met Flynn.

While Charlotte was heading back to her class, Dustin was causing a riot inside. He laughed loudly. He threatened everyone not to think about challenging him in dodgeball. He reminded them that he had won every match against them. "That's because you play aggressively!" One student said. "Go ahead! Make up another excuse!" He laughed loudly.

Charlotte came and had a simple poker face. Everyone stood quietly, staring at her. They felt awkward after she came in and witnessed what was happening after she left class for just five minutes.

"Can we just pretend this never happened?" Dustin asked. "How can I? You're like an unstoppable train wreck." Charlotte sarcastically said. "Taking that as a compliment! Know why? Because no one can stop a train!" Dustin smirked. "She called you a train wreck and you took it as a compliment?!" The class yelled.

After school, everyone was leaving. Charlotte was left with some of her friends from class. Nevertheless, while they were talking, she looked to her right and noticed someone else walking away. It was Flynn. She couldn't tell where he was going. All she could do was wonder inside her head what Flynn does outside of school, and where he was going. She couldn't help it. She needed to know.

She interrupted and told her friends that she needed to head off. She excused herself that she had something personal she needed at home. Her friends assured her that it was alright and that they would see her tomorrow. Charlotte walked away, heading home. She wanted to take a look at reports of Flynn. As the class president, she had a lot of reports from her classmates.
