MAYA'S POV

Today my parents told me that they had fixed my marriage with their friend's son. I don't know what to feel about that scared, that he's unknown, or feel pity at myself, that my parents didn't even thought to ask me first.

ESHAN'S POV

I have seen her pictures, that my parents showed me. She was so pretty, her curly hair, brown eyes and chubby face... she had a common facial features but still her eyes ... it seemed like she was smiling but still not smiling. I don't know why i said Yes for this proposal ... I don't want her to meddle in my life. I'm already fucked.

I'll just meet her and so NO for this proposal.

Summary

Even after all this, she tries to enjoy her life fearing that her past will come to haunt her in present. she finds happiness in smallest of things. She enjoys reading fictional books, dancing, and tries to spent her time with her family. ESHAN RAJPUT He is a prominent name in his field. he is a COO of his father's company. Famous among his colleague for his beautiful facial feature and kind nature. but... There’s a saying , ‘Don’t believe everyone easily... people always shows what they want you to see’ and just like this saying Eshan also hides his true self beneath the facade of an adorable person, whom everyone loves. What happens when these two shattered souls met each other -will they piece each other back together and find solace in the chaos, or will the weight of their hidden scars carve even deeper wounds?

PROLOGUE

AUTHOR'S POV

After working in a cafe till evening, Maya returns to her home which is just 10 min away from the place where she works. She got stilled for a second when she sees 2 cars were standing outside her home. When she went inside the house to find out who had suddenly arrived as guests... she saw that there was a lot of hustle bustle in the living room.

There were a couple in their 50s probably the same age as her parents, they were talking to her dad who was sitting on the sofa nearby. There was also a girl around her age sitting there, quietly listening to their conversation smilingly and occasionally replying.

She sees her mother returning from kitchen with tray filled with snacks in her hands. When she saw her mother looking at her, she tried to ask her about the guests through gestures. Her mother, told her to come inside.

"oh here she comes, Isse miliye ye hamari badi beti maya h". (meet her, she is our elder daughter Maya). her mother told the guests. Maya understanding her goes inside the living room and takes their blessing. "Maya ye tmhare papa ke bachpan k friend h Ashutosh ji, unki wife kashi ji aur ye shreya h inki beti".(Maya he is your dad's childhood friend Ashutosh ji, his wife Kashi ji and she is shreya, their daughter). her mother told her introducing them.

They all talked for sometime. Maya loved talking with Shreya as she and maya are same age. They both exchanged their numbers and shared their snacks, Maya also got to know about her love for fictional characters.

The guests left after dinner. After that Maya helped her mother in cleaning the kitchen and washing the dishes. Once the chores were done they both went to their rooms.

I tried writing the story for the first time, i hope it will catch your eyes. There will be some grammatical mistakes but I'll try my best to make this story a good one.
