And when that lone soldier took up arms and faced the army of many as just a single, solitary warrior against an endless landscape of flames and darkness. Did this soldier run? No. There would be nowhere to run to. There would be no one at her back to save her. There would be no rescue. She did not hesitate, she pushed forward. For when she looked back and discovered herself alone she realized that she was likely to fail, but she pushed on anyways. If she was found dead in this battle plot, then she would know in her last breath that she went out fighting. She would know, that in the end she was not truly alone but instead accompanied by the honor of knowing that in the end, she was still reaching for the light. That in itself, is its own strength.
