Plumbers Tale

In a far away kingdom in another world, there lived a beautiful princess... All her peoples loved her and would do anything for her. Unfortunately, as all stories go, some people became jealous of the princess’ popularity and sought to put an end to it. Specifically, the king of the neighboring kingdom... Anyhow, let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. This story begins just a few months before the princess’ coronation as queen.

“Servants!” calls a hyena in an elegant red dress.

Right away, several servants rush to their princess. Of the servants, there are three other hyenas, the other few are various other animals. The princess smiles upon seeing her eager servants show up.

“Yes, your highness?” the servants ask in unison.

“I’m feeling a bit hungry, do you mind fetching me some food?” the princess asks.

“I could be your food!” a bird offers.

“Really? You wouldn’t mind?” the princess asks with a gasp.

“It would be a great honor!” the bird servant says with a bow.

“Or we could fetch you some cake, perhaps,” another servant offers.

“Well... Why not both?” the princess suggests.

“Oh my goodness! Thank you, thank you. thank you!” the bird servant exclaims. “You have no idea how much this means to me!”

“Hold still...” the princess says and gently grabs her servant.

She puts her mouth over his head, drooling all over him. The other servants rush off to get some cake. Carefully, the princess swallows up her servant, causing her dress to stretch to cover her distended belly. Within moments, the servant is entirely swallowed up.

“Mmm... Thank you...” the princess says, gently caressing her belly.

“No, thank you! I will rest easy knowing my body is going to good use!” the servant says, muffled by the stomach walls.

The princess goes and sits in her throne. The other servants return and begin feeding her chunks of cake. One servant gently rubs her belly to help aid her digestion. Her belly groans loudly, building up acids to digest both the bird and the large amount of cake being inserted.

“Mmm... Yeah... That’s good cake...” the princess says.

“Dearest princess, I do hope you remember your coronation is coming up relatively soon,” an advisor says.

“I know, I know...but you know me, I can’t resist a good meal!” the princess says with a wink.

The advisor sighs and shakes her head. The princess then burps loudly in her face, causing her to jump back in surprise. The servants quit feeding their princess cake, realizing she is full. The princess smiles and closes her eyes, relaxing in her throne.

Two other hyenas are in a house. In front of them is a leaking toilet with a busted pipe. The first of the two is a spotted hyena and he’s examining the leak. The second of the two is a striped hyena and he’s carrying a tool box.

“Louie, hand me the pipe wrench,” the first hyena says, looking over his shoulder.

“The pipe wrench?” Louie asks for clarification.

“Yes! The wide one! You know what a wrench is, don’t you?!” the first hyena asks.

“Y-yes... Hang on...” Louie says and begins digging through the tool box.

“Quick! Otherwise the water bill is going to be pretty nasty!” the first hyena says.

“Okay, Marco, here’s your wrench,” Louie says and hands the first hyena a hammer.

“What in the heck, Louie?! We’ve been doing this job for five months now! Plus our training! You should know what a wrench is by now!” Marco snaps, tossing the hammer at Louie.

“Aiyee! You’re right! That’s not the tool I meant to grab!” Louie yelps, as he gets hit in the head.

“You know what?! Just give me the entire tool box!” Marco says and snatches the tool box.

“What can I do, then?” Louie asks.

“You know what would help me the most?” Marco asks, digging out the pipe wrench.

“...no...? That’s why I asked?” Louie says, confused.

“If you just stand there silently and don’t touch ANYTHING!” Marco says with a snarl.

“Oooookay... I’ll do that...” Louie says, falling silent.

Marco unscrews the broken segment of pipe and grabs a new pipe. Quickly, he tightens it into place as more water gushes out everywhere. Louie sighs and stares longingly at the tool box. Marco snarls and hides the box from Louie’s sight.

“So, Marco...ummm... What do you think caused the pipe to break...?” Louie asks.

“Ah! Now you ask the good questions! I’d say a big dump,” Marco suggests.

Louie picks up the broken segment of pipe and shakes it. After a few shakes, a wild dog pup falls out of it, completely drenched. The pup coughs up some water and shakes itself dry. Marco turns around abruptly.

“A pup! What in the heck?! Who flushes puppies down the drain?!” Marco exclaims.

“Hi,” the pup says, still coughing up water.

“I saved the pup’s life!” Louie says, feeling good about himself.

“No. I saved the pup! I’m the one who unscrewed the pipe!” Marco boasts.

“Right. You saved the pup,” Louie says with a sigh.

As much as Louie loves his brother, Marco has always been this way. Marco loves to take credit for anything good that either of the two does. However, if anything goes wrong, Marco is quick to blame Louie. The wild dog pup barks happily.

“How did you get stuck in the pipe?” Louie asks the pup.

“I flushed the toilet and then fell in! It was fun, but scary!” the pup says.

“Well! With the pipe fixed and the blockage removed, we can clean up this mess. Louie, you know what to do!” Marco says, swishing his fluffy black tail.

“Yes, Marco,” Louie says, gently putting the pup down.

Marco watches smugly as Louie drops down on all fours. The smaller of the two brothers then begins slurping the spilt water off the dirty floor. Marco, meanwhile, pulls a bottle of water out of his pocket and drinks that instead. Well, that’s one way to complete a job!
