It was in midnight. Officer Sam Swarek was out late trying to bust a drug deal between the drug cartel and some local teens. He was with his rookie Andreanne McPeck, who was sleeping while waiting for the case to be solved as soon as possible so that she can return home. A door opens in the building near their parked car. Out comes a man with what appears to be little sachets of cocaine. This prompts Sam to wake Andreanne up and they pursue the dealer who runs from them, upon seeing their squad car. “All units, this is officer Swarek, I am in pursuit of the dealer I am on Guy Street and I am requesting backup!” “Copy that Swarek.” Says Officer Draper on the radio. The squad car continues to chase after the dealer. The dealer is about to make it to an intersection before Draper’s squad car arrives and nearly kills the dealer. The drug dealer is arrested for possession of drugs and Sam and his rookies retreat back to base.
The next day, Staff Sergeant Giordano Best made a big announcement. “Ok everyone, so I have some big news. Today, the city of Montreal will be receiving a visit from Sean Lennon. We all know who he is. So calm down. Yoko Ono called me a few days ago and personally requested my best officers to protect Sean from the paparazzi while he visits Montreal. Being the son of an Ex-Beatle is a huge load to carry. So I have handpicked the best officers for this job and I expect them to do well and protect Sean at all cost. So Swarek! You take McPeck with you. You will be Sean’s first line of defense. Draper, you and Marleau-Gallant will protect him from the behind. The rest of you have your assignments on the board.”
“So what do you think about this new job Sam?” asked Andy? “I think it’s good. Just don’t forget, we are not here to get his autograph. We are here to protect Sean from the paparazzi.”
