Lost off land

From the moment i laid eyes on her ,she was beautiful.her long wavy crystal white curls,the way the sun kissed her tan skin…oh how her eyes light up and shone brightly like stars in the night sky when she looked at me …she was everything to me .when i saw her perched on her rock like a greek goddess,she always adored the gifts i brought her from land and the stunning shells or pearls she’d give me in exchange.(lewis was around 20 with soft black curls,emrald green eyes and fair skin with a lean figure.he was nice ,hardworking )

Lewis-

It all started when my ship,the great anabella ,was being prepaird for her voyage in the warm summers morning .we loaded the ship with food,belongings and whatever else we needed .familys waved goodbyes as we set sail though i didnt have anyone waving .no waved to me .i was only one, always had been since a little lad .i was soon pulled out of my trance as my captain pat my shoulder “ ey cheer up me lad ,wont be long and we’ll rule the seven seas he said giving a hearty chuckle as i forced a smile and a firm “ay ay captain “.the day passed rather quickly with nothing but sweeping the deck and making sure we were on track for the mighty island of lost lilly retreat.it was an absolutky magical and unbelevable place ,it was the only memeory i had of my mother …i used to lay in her lap with her fingers gently running through my inky curls while she told me the storys of the island.the striking caves with diffrent flowers ,fruits and waterfalls …something youd expect out of a fairy tail but its true i promise .

We all settled down on deck sharing storys of different voyages,family and friends whike we all ate cooked fish with a side of dried peas.the captain raised his pint up in the air and shouted with a loud and gravely tone of his voice .every one cheered and rose their glasses .the sound of laughing and glasses clanking agaisnt one enother echoed it was a nice night and the crew were ready for the long sail .one of my crew mates who were slightly tipsy from the drunks came over kaughing as he wrapped an arm around my neck reaking of ale and cheep beer .”come on…get a drink down you do you ever loosen up ?”he laughed loudly and tried handing me a glass of beer though i just smiled and refused polietky “no im fine thanks …im uh…not a drink “ i said giving a soft chuckle as i push jakes arm off me and decded to hit the hay early .

The rest of the week was pretty peaceful and full of work until the begining of the second week.when disaster struck …it was way too hot ,we were losing our sanity when all the water was drank…i felt like i was melting away like an icecream or an icecube or even snowmen .we all laid on the deck as there was nothing to do ,no wind in our sails .we were all slolwy floating and drifting away mentally and phisically .we were slowly but surely going to die right ?the food suply was low due to it going off in the heat and we were all simply too tired and hot to eat or take a single bite .some even tried scoopping the water from the ocean though fell in .it was pure tragedy.a couple days had passed and i and couple others aswell as the captain were still laying and praying up to whatever god was up there to save us ,i was barely concious when the winds finally picked up,clouds darkening though just when we were about to celebrate …rain began pouring …and pouring until it was thundering .maybe dying in the sun or falling over board would of been better then the storm we were about to be hit with .

Maybe it was how quickly the weather had changed almost in the snap of a finger or how windy it was …but i felt a large sense of dread begin to pool in my gut.something bad was bound to happen.the captain barked orders to the five of us left out of the 20 we had orignally boarded the ship with as the rain poured,thunder roaring ferociously like a lion until it hit the ship sending the mast down with it .many werent able to doge intime as it hit the deck and took us under .

I was never afraid of death …i didnt think id ever be but let me tell you every single nerve in my body was on end .my chest tight as i inhaled water helplessly ,the sharp stabbing pain in my abdomen grew increasingly almost as if i was being inpaled….with something .my vision blured as i gasped for air though it was useless as i sunk deeper and deeper.it hit me finally .i was going to die without a doubt …id get to see my dear beloved mother finally as i tried to focus my disoriented eyes though my lids were heavy .way too heavy to keep open as i slipped away into nothingness …
