Summary

Dev and Raina were never meant to fall in love. Their marriage was a transaction.....cold, calculated, convenient. No grand romance, no whispered promises. Just two strangers walking down the aisle for the sake of family, status, and quiet expectations. But love has a way of sneaking in, doesn’t it? Between shared breakfasts and late-night silences, between stolen glances and soft laughter, Dev and Raina found something neither of them expected a home in each other. Slowly, their hearts softened, walls crumbled, and what began as a duty blossomed into something achingly beautiful. For a while, they were happy. Truly, deeply happy. Then Dev changed. Without warning, the warmth in his eyes faded. The hand that used to reach for hers in the dark now stayed cold. Words turned sharp, his presence distant, and Raina was left clutching memories like lifelines while her heart quietly broke every day. And just when she thought it couldn’t hurt more her world shattered. A doctor’s quiet voice. A final diagnosis. Last stage cancer. Time: limited. She didn’t cry. Not then. Because she had already lost the man she loved… and now, she was losing her life too. When Dev finally asked for a divorce, her heart cracked open but her lips smiled. “Just give me one more month,” she said softly, “Let’s live it like we used to… just once more.” He agreed, unaware. For thirty days, Raina gave

PROLOGUE

Time didn’t move forward it rewound. The universe didn’t give them another life. It gave them a second chance in the same one.

Moments after Raina’s last breath, something strange happened. Her soul awoke but not in a new body, not in a new life. She was back. Back in time. Years before she had ever met Dev. Young again, healthy, untouched by pain… but with every single memory of her future heartache intact.

And Dev? He remembered too.

He woke up gasping for air, haunted by her death, broken by the guilt of loving her too late. And now, he had time.....a second chance to fix everything. But Raina wasn’t the same girl anymore.

She didn’t run to him. She ran from him.

Raina had felt death. She had tasted loneliness. And she had loved a man who watched her fade without ever truly seeing her. Now, she wanted none of it. No love. No marriage. No heartbreak. This life was hers, and hers alone. She laughed louder, lived freer, and loved herself harder than anyone else.

Until Yuvraj stepped in.

In her past life, he had been a shadow always near, always watching, always too afraid to speak the truth. He loved her, but his silence gave her away. This time, he was different. Confident. Ruthless. Determined. He didn’t ask. He claimed.

“I lost you once, Raina. That won’t happen again.”

As Dev tried to heal the wounds he once caused, Yuvraj dug deeper into the space Raina was trying to protect. It was a war neither man was willing to lose. Dev fought with remorse, desperation, and old memories. Yuvraj fought with fire, passion, and the promise of something new.

And Raina? She stood in the middle torn between a past that nearly destroyed her… and a future that burned with dangerous, unfamiliar desire.

But this time, she wouldn't be anyone’s to lose.

She was the storm now.

And they were the ones learning how to survive her.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
