Chapter 1:BABY DRAGON TURNS MAFIA

Franklin plopped right down on the sofa and lit a cigarette . He was a notorious theif and kidnapper. He stared right down at the lifeless body that lay before him. He'd never used a gun to kill before, but tonight it was different.

He started stealing at the age of nine, and his own dad hadn't stopped him at the time, because they were dirt poor, and needed the money badly.

It wasn't until he turned fifteen that he started robbery fulltime. Povery turned into riches, when he started robbing, and his girlfriend turned into his wife when he turned twenty-seven .

When Cheryl found out that her husband was a kidnapper, she not only fled the house, she left Franklin alone with poor baby Luana .

Luana grew up with thick skin. She was bold, a little too bold.

Franklin's baby girl learnt how to use a gun at fifteen, and now eighteen, she looked and acted too wise for her years.

Franklin never went to school as a child, never even wanted to anyway, once he started stealing .

Even when Luana found out her dad was a killer, she just followed in his footsteps.

Luana knew about the kidnap that night, but didn't know her dad was going to kill the boy. But when she heard her boss' call sounding angry over the phone, confusion set in

The boy was the son of a wealthy business man in San Francisco. He was seventeen, quiet, timid, and easy to order around. Franklin blew some punches across the boy's face several times, to the extent that he started bleeding.

Poor Joseph couldn't take it anymore and kicked Franklin's feet in an attempt to stop the punching . Immediately, Franklin's mood changed. When the boy saw this, he tried to apologise but the gag in his mouth made his words rather trapped inside...muffled and useless.

In three split seconds, Franklin's anger took control, and he ended Joseph's life...just like that.

Luana rushed to where her dad usually held captives hostage, and came bursting through the back door

"You killed him?!" Luana yelled. She was so furious at the moment.

Franklin didnt even flinch, and just continued puffing smoke into the air

"Do you realise how angry Damien is?, our boss incase you've forgotten ", Luana continued

"Forget it", Franklin spoke "I'll still get paid ", he said .

"Whatever lets just go home", Luana replied .

They got home at about four a.m that morning, tired and angry. "But seriously dad, you don't just kill people like that", Luana continued in her anger, as she threw her bag down on the floor .

"I said forget it!, pack your bags also, you've got college tomorrow.

Franklin had enrolled Luana at a nearby college a few months back. He only did it because he valued education, and didn't want his daughter to become like him...uneducated.

But he'd promised her on her graduation that she wouldn't continue schooling, since she didn't want to. But the look on her face with him breaking his promise, didn't show she liked the idea.

"What!?" She shouted," I can't go back, you promised ", Luana yelled.

"I know i did, but you're only eighteen...you've got a life ahead of you, i didn't want you to end up like i did, i love you Luana", he said passionately to his daughter .

"Alright fine, but not tomorrow, maybe during the weekend, i need to pull myself together," Luana said, rolling her eyes at the end.

She immediately went upstairs and graced her pillow, exhausted from what happened a few hours ago.

Maybe this was going to be the start of something new for Luana,...just maybe. A new life awaits!

I hoped you enjoyed this first chapter. Don't just read, like and follow

OMG, I'm absolutely obsessed with this chapter! 🤩 Franklin is terrifyingly good—like, how can he be so casually dark after what he did?! The way he just kept "puffing smoke into the air" while Luana was freaking out? Chills! 🥶But Luana, you are my new queen! The "You killed him?!" part was such a punch to the gut. I am living for her rebellious energy. She's got her dad's wild side but her own moral compass, and that conflict? Chef's kiss! I get why Franklin wants her to go to college, but I secretly hope she leans into her chaotic side just a little more!
