Prologue
It is said that throughout the entirety of the Land, there exists one being whose power is so great that any Monster who is able to court his power will become nigh undefeatable. So it was when Miro the Elf traversed The Mountain to speak and ally himself with The Magic King in order to defend his tribe against the winged ones.
Unfortunately for the Monsters of the Land, Miro began to desire more than just an equal ally-ship. And unfortunately for Miro, his dreams of conquering both the winged ones and The Magic King were betrayed by Pato the Pale. With an ingenious snare, Pato both usurped Miro's power and achieved Miro's original wish of commanding The Magic King.
It is said that throughout the entirety of the Land, there exists one being whose power is so great that any Monster who submits to his command will obtain unbeatable power.
Unfortunately for the Monsters of the Land, this promise is not what it seems, though it is true that the Monster who accepts the order will become unimaginably powerful...
This is the tragedy of the Labubu tribe and of the deception by the one they call The Magic King, ruler of the winged ones.

Good prologue, can't wait to see what happens.
Hi JVS,
I recently went through your story "The Monsters Along The Way" and I loved it so much. Your writing is amazing, and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic.
I loved the prologue with Miro the Elf bargaining with the Magic King—that sense of grand power mixed with betrayal is so compelling. And the twist when Pato the Pale betrays Miro and takes control of the Magic King was dark and tragic. These moments are perfect for a comic because of their dramatic visuals and deep emotional weight.
I specialize in adapting stories into manga/comics, and I’d love to bring your story to life in that format. No pressure, though I really think your work would shine as a comic. If you’re interested in a paid collaboration I’d love to discuss how we could make that happen.
If you’re interested message me on Instagram (username: digitalstrokes_21) or DM me on DC (username: peterjones_90) so we can bring the story to life visually
