No Escape

Having a person with you, but still feeling lonely.

Having things to make you soothe, but still you can’t be happy.

Life may be a lesson, and always a lesson means you have to face things.

Facing things means being in a lonely zone.

And I’ll always zone out, no matter what happens.

Being in a comfort place, a home for us,

Trying to make ourselves feel that it will subside,

But it will never subside.

My feelings are always confusing, even though they are in front of me.

I overthink some things, and these overthinking can never stop.

Even when we try to confront them, we feel energyless,

And just stand there looking at things happening around us.

We may have comments, but we never show them.

We are tired of life, maybe tired from running.

And we’ll never have a place to sit, because life is all about running.

There’s no escape, even when we try to.

We are in a trap, a trap made by us.

We never try to take a break,

And if we do, it won’t work out.

Life is full of regrets,

They don't stop but, they keep on increasing.
