TARA

Sitting with a book in my hand by the window, while it is raining cats and dogs outside with a light breeze blowing away my hair, I can feel the absence of my best friend, Dhrubo, who is now away for his business in Delhi while I am stuck in my home town looking for a job.

I can almost imagine him laughing and telling me one of his stupid jokes trying to cheer me up as I sit waiting for a message from him.

Suddenly the buzz of my phone pulls me out of my trance and brings me back to reality. Excited thinking it is a message from him I pick up the phone in a hurry. However, to my surprise it was a email from the company House and Craft, accepting me as their employee. Oh! I forgot to mention Dhrubo is the founder of House and Craft.

Seeing the email I immediately want to call him up as I couldn't wait for him to call or message me anymore. I needed to share this with him immediately. Now not only will we be best friends but we might as well become colleagues, sorry, I will be his subordinate not that I have a problem with it. I have always liked being under his guidance and being able to continue to be able to under his guidance and with him made me very excited. I hope he too will be happy to see me and work with me.

DHRUBO

I know she will be very happy to the email about her new job. I cannot wait to see her anymore. She never really realized how much I admire and adore her, but that never stopped me from trying to take good care of her as much as possible. Seeing her not being able to get into a job due to her nervousness with all her amazing qualities really disappointed me.

I really want her to be with me so that I can guide her into being confident and self aware individual. Also I want to be able to have her with me so that I can always be there to protect her and if possible make her understand my feelings and emotions towards her. SHHHHHH!!! don't even tell this to her right now. Everything has its own perfect time and place.

As if on cue I see my phone ring and the caller name is of my Tara. I immediately pick up the call and smile as I hear her excited voice shouting out the news to me. Oh how cute she can be at times, how can I not like her!

Tara: HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNE DHRUBO. I AM SO EXCITED TO MEET YOU AGAIN!!! I WILL BE REACHING BY TOMORROW 2 PM, COME AND PICK ME UP.

Me: You want me to pick you up? Am I not your boss--

Tara (cutting me off): OYYEYEEEE!! BEFORE BEING MY BOSS YOU ARE MY FRIEND. COME ON DHRUBO PICK ME UP, YOU CANNOT LEAVE A SMALL LITTLE TINY INNOCENT CUTE GIRL ROAMING AROUND ALONE IN THE STREETS OF AN UNKNOWN CITY. THAT IS A CRIME! I WILL COMPLAIN TO YOUR MOTHER!

Me: Ok Tara! No worries, I was just kidding with you. I will pick you up at 2 then. See you soon mon ami! Bye for now gotta attend a meeting soon. Will call you back later!

Tara: See you soon tooooo!! I cannot wait anymore, it has been long since I saw you last. Finally the wait will be over. I won't call you anymore today, gotta pack everything up before tomorrow. Bye Dhrubo.

She ended the call but her voice still rung in my ears like it is a pleasant music which is calling me towards her. Indeed, I too cannot wait to see her anymore, to hold her hand and take her to roam the city, to see her feast on all her favourite food and jump around in excitement. OH HOW I MISS HER CHILDLIKE HAPPINESS AND LOVE TOWARDS THE WORLD, MY INNOCENT LITTLE TARA.

Hey guys! This is the first time I am writing a book, hopefully you all will like it and will give your valued feedback to me and help me improve. Until the time I improve, I will try to keep my chapters short.

So far seems like Dhrubo is so much in love with Tara, sad it is still one sided. Cannot wait to see when Tara will realize this...What about you guys?!!?!?!
