The fall
🌑 📘 Chapter 1 — The Fall
Amani had always dreamed of the stage. Since childhood, he believed that destiny had written his name in lights, the kind that shine above great theaters. But dreams are fragile things.
At the Royal Arts Academy, his confidence crumbled. His first major performance ended in disaster: he forgot his lines, froze under the spotlight, and the audience’s whispers felt like knives. His classmates mocked him quietly, calling him “the statue.” Even the director avoided looking at him.
That night, Amani walked home under heavy rain, each drop mixing with the shame burning in his chest. He promised himself he would never step on a stage again.
But destiny, the same one he believed in, had different plans.
