The Nine Commandments of Godhead
First Commandment - Murder, Attempted Murder and the Threat of Murder are Strictly Forbidden.
Second Commandment - All Unresolved Disagreements and Conflicts are to be settled with Games.
Third Commandment - Before a Game begins, the Game in question, the Rules and Terms of the Game need to be Agreed Upon by the Competing Parties.
Fourth Commandment - Anything can be wagered on a Game by either Party, including Life.
Fifth Commandment - All Wagers from the Games made must be Honoured.
Sixth Commandment - If a Party is caught breaking the rules or cheating during a Game, it results in an Immediate Loss.
Seventh Commandment - Once a Party has been challenged to a Game, the Challenged Party must accept.
Eighth Commandment - If there are any Disputes between the Parties during and or after a Game, Gamemasters have the Absolute Authority to resolve them.
Ninth Commandment - In Accordance with the One and Only Godhead, anyone who violates any of the Commandments will be Banished into the Void for Eternity.

I like that you lay out the rules of how the world works from the very beginning. The last rule makes it seem absolute and introduces real danger. I can imagine the story will go in two directions: either the rules are unbreakable, or the characters will have to find loopholes.
This kind of dynamic reminds me of series like the Shadow Games from the first part of Yu-Gi-Oh! and No Game No Life.
Great start, this kind of setup remind me of "No Game No Life"
Got hooked from the very first pages!
This is incredibly cool.
