Chapter 1

Damn, the woman was tight.

“Oh, fuck, Damon! Your dick is so big!”

She was a screamer, too—something he liked. It had been a while since he’d enjoyed some anal action.

He hadn’t expected to run into this woman the moment he stepped back onto the island. She was a famous socialite and an Instagram model; he’d seen her face on billboards countless times.

Countless men made fools of themselves over her, desperately trying to get her attention. But here she was, the one who had approached him when she saw him on the shore with his friends. He had invited her for a drink, and now, he was drilling her from behind.

“Oooh, you feel so good, Damon! Harder!” She shrieked. “Fuck me harder!”

That was exactly what he wanted to do. He had started slowly to avoid hurting her, knowing he wasn’t of average size. If he let his lust take over too quickly, he might make her bleed. But it seemed Jade—the woman he was fucking in the ass right now—was ready for him. She was prepared to get nailed in her back door. Judging by the way she moved, it likely wasn’t her first time.

He loved the way she screamed in pleasure. He buried his throbbing length all the way into her tight hole, then began to pound into her rhythmically. He liked it rough and hard. Jade’s screams grew louder, filling the cabin.

She was sharing the cabin with a friend who was currently being fucked by his best friend in the other room. Damon grinned when he heard the moans coming from the other side of the wall. Gavin was clearly having a good time, too.

“Ride me,” he commanded, shifting their position. He let her take charge. She straddled him, gasping as his full length buried itself inside her again. He gripped Jade’s waist to support her rhythm.

God, this woman was driving him wild. Her breasts bounced with every rise and fall of her body against his. He allowed himself to cup her breasts and pinch her nipples.

“Uuughh, yes, yes!”

He could hear the same sounds from the other room. Both women were loud.

He met her movements with harsh thrusts, his hunger insatiable. He lifted her and pinned her against the wall. In that position, he continued to ram his fat cock into her. The slamming of her body against the wall created a rhythmic thud, accompanying the relentless pounding he gave her.

He felt Jade’s body tremble after a few more intense thrusts. Then, she was screaming in pleasure for the nth time, her nails clawing at his back.

He closed his eyes, allowing himself to enjoy the rich sensation of fucking her. The lust he felt intensified, and his knees began to shake.

“Fuck, I’m coming!” he groaned. He pulled out of her and quickly removed the rubber. Jade instinctively dropped to her knees in front of him. He pumped his cock and let his load shoot onto her face.

The woman enjoyed it. She stuck out her tongue to catch the last drops of his fluid. To his surprise, her lips wrapped around the head of his cock to suck him clean. She didn’t waste a drop.

Damon looked up, running a hand roughly through his hair. “Damn. That was really good, baby.”

Jade grinned at him. “Well, thank you. But you’re still hard and so ready for another round...”

He looked down at his manhood. She was right. He was still rock hard. She reached out and squeezed it, her hand looking incredibly small wrapped around his massive package.

“Do you want more?” Her voice was seductive, her sticky gaze implying something else.

“What? You have something different to offer?” he asked.

She pulled him out of the room, and he followed, confused. He was surprised when she opened the door to the room where Gavin and her friend were. Judging by their appearance, the two had just finished.

Gavin looked equally shocked to see them.

Jade walked over to her friend, and Damon was stunned when the two women kissed right in front of them.

Jade looked back at him, giving him that smile... that fucking smile. He knew exactly what she was planning.

“How about you two take turns fucking us?”

A mischievous grin spread across his lips as he climbed onto the bed.

“That was hot. But we’re not doing that again,” Gavin said as he buttoned his polo shirt. Damon just laughed and draped an arm around him. He couldn’t blame his friend.

After they finished, the girls revealed they were actually a lesbian couple. That wasn’t shocking to Damon—a little surprising, sure, but not a problem. They were all adults exploring their sexual fantasies. But for Gavin, it was like a bomb had been dropped right in front of him.

“Stop it, Gavin. You enjoyed fucking them both.”

“Yes, I really enjoyed fucking a female couple.”

Damon couldn’t tell if there was sarcasm in his voice. “You’re already an adult, and they knew what they were getting into. Just admit you liked the other one, didn’t you?”

Gavin glared at him.

“So, I was right. You’re just upset because you thought you stood a chance with that woman, only to find out she was in a relationship with him—”

“Stop it, will you?”

He snickered. He stopped teasing his friend and changed the subject. Afterward, they went to a nearby bar on Isla Fuego to drink beer. Since it was the weekend, the place was packed with members and guests.

He had been a member of this island for a long time. His friend Dominic had invited him to join the exclusive sex island years ago. Gavin joined too, influenced by him and Dominic. Many businessmen, politicians, and famous personalities in their circle were members.

At first, he joined just for the meaningless hook-ups. Eventually, it became his vacation spot when he needed a break from running his massive company.

The island was beautiful. Something was alluring about the place that other islands he’d visited lacked. It was quiet, private, and peaceful. There were no distractions because smartphones were prohibited.

Also, meeting women was easy. Getting laid without commitment was easy. Exploring sexual fetishes was easy.

Like the couple he and Gavin had just been with. They could do whatever they wanted on the island without complications, as long as it was legal.

“I heard you bought another property in Batangas. Is that why you’re heading straight there tomorrow?”

Damon was surprised Gavin knew about that. He hadn’t mentioned it to his friend yet.

“Dad told me,” Gavin said, as if reading his mind. “You know they treat you like a son, so they always keep tabs on you.”

He smiled. Gavin was like a brother to him, too. Gavin’s family had taken him in when he had absolutely nothing and didn’t know what awaited him. His parents treated Damon like their own child. He would be forever indebted to them.

“Yes, I just bought a property in San Juan. It’s beachfront, so I plan to turn it into a beach resort in the future. I’m also going to visit Nana Celia. I think I’ll stay there for a week before heading back to Manila.”

Nana Celia was his mother’s former maid when she was still alive. She and her husband, Mang Rudy, were like family to him. They were currently staying at the villa his mother owned in Batangas.

That was where he planned to stay after leaving the island.

“Are you still going through with your plans?”

“What plans?” He frowned. Gavin glanced at him seriously before chugging his beer.

“You know what I’m talking about, Damon. It’s a serious matter.”

His jaw tightened. Of course, he knew what his friend was talking about. He could never forget the thing Gavin was referring to.

Anger flared in his blood like fire on the ocean. He could never forget his plans. He had started them two years ago, and he knew those people were thoroughly alarmed.

He saw the destruction of their lives and relationships. They thought he was already finished with them.

A ruthless smile broke on his lips. He wasn’t satisfied with his last attempt at dismantling their lives. He thought about crushing them now. But that wasn’t his style anymore.

He wasn’t in a rush. His two years of silence were proof enough of that. But just because he was silent didn’t mean he wasn’t doing anything. He wanted to take them apart piece by piece, starting from the root, attacking quietly. He wanted the element of surprise.

He wanted his sudden strike to bring total devastation. He was determined to make that happen.

“Relax, Damon. The enemy isn’t here.” Gavin grinned, noticing Damon’s tight grip on the beer bottle.

He tilted his head, a dangerous smile playing on his lips. “I’m not finished with them, Gavin. I can’t forget my plans when I’ve barely started.”

“Just make it perfect this time. Last time, you almost got outsmarted.”

That memory flashed in his mind, and he gritted his teeth.

“I won’t let that happen again, Gavin. That was messy, I admit.”

“Is she still contacting you?”

“Yes. She wants us to be friends. But I know that’s just her style to get close to me again. I know I made a mistake, too. But I don’t trust her.”

His friend went silent for a moment. When he spoke again, there was concern in his voice. “Don’t waste all your time on revenge, Damon. Give yourself some time, too... Maybe find the right woman for you? Mom keeps asking me if you have a new girlfriend. I don’t know how to answer her. You’re too busy with your flings and meaningless hookups. When are you going to get married?”

The young man laughed. “Are you seriously asking me that?”

“Do I look like a comedian?”

He shook his head. “I don’t know. Starting a family isn’t on my mind yet, Gavin. And how can I get married if I don’t even have a girlfriend?”

“If you had one, would you take it seriously?”

“I don’t cheat. If I had a girlfriend, I would never cheat on her with another woman.” Gavin nodded. “I just haven’t met her yet. Maybe in the future? For now, I want to enjoy being single.”

“And being a manwhore,” Gavin emphasized.

Okay, he was a manwhore. But a responsible one. Suddenly, Gavin’s words struck him. He had a point. He did want to have a family eventually...

But he still hadn’t found the right woman. When he saw her, he would know if she was the one. He would know. And he would claim her. He might never let her go.

Silly. It was unlikely he’d meet that woman anytime soon.

“I forgot to mention. Dominic is also here. I talked to him the other night. He’s coming.”

“Really? I thought he was busy.”

“The bastard just arrived a while ago,” Gavin answered. Damon spotted a familiar man and grinned.

“Well, speaking of the devil...” They saw Dominic approaching.

“Brothers,” Dominic smiled as he reached them. He sat at their table and grabbed a beer. “Lucifer’s throwing a party later at the mansion. Are you two going?”

“I’m not sure... Ask Gavin. I’m leaving tomorrow anyway.”

“Tomorrow is still a day away, dude. Why not join later? C’mon, let’s have tonight. Come on, Gavin. We rarely see each other here.”

“It’s not a bad idea. I’m in,” Gavin chuckled. Dominic didn’t have a hard time convincing him.

The next day, Damon woke up with a hangover, but he really needed to leave. He had breakfast with Gavin before packing his things.

It would be a while before he could return to the island. He had many things to face once he left. Hopefully, when he returned, he would have successfully executed his final plan.

He would surely enjoy the rest of his life after the takeover.

Goddammit, Gail! She cursed herself while her tears continued to fall.

She shouldn’t be crying like this. She shouldn’t be wasting tears. God, she should stop crying, for fuck’s sake. She was still driving, and this was dangerous.

Abigail “Gail” Cortez roughly wiped the tears from her cheeks and laughed bitterly. She felt so pathetic. Yeah. Pathetic. That was her.

But she knew she couldn’t stop herself, especially after witnessing the shamelessness of the man she had loved for years. The image of his naked body flashed in her mind again—sweating as he thrust in and out of the woman bent over in front of him.

What she witnessed played in her brain like a nightmare. She felt the stab of a knife in her chest over and over again, slicing her heart repeatedly. She wasn’t a masochist; she didn’t want to remember that. What woman would want the image of her boyfriend banging someone else playing in her head?

She wished she could unsee that moment, but it was impossible. The woman her boyfriend was having sex with was actually her own sister!

The image of them fucking like rabbits was still playing in her head. It felt like torture. That fucking bitch!

And she hated herself for using the word ‘fucking’ so many times because of them!

The way their bodies met was clear and detailed in her mind. The loud moans and gasps they released seemed to deafen her. Her throat was hoarse from screaming out the pain. She still couldn’t believe it. After all these years of being with him. Of being a faithful and good woman to him...

Lance still let himself be tempted by her sister? Fuck him! She did everything for him! She gave everything! She left nothing for herself. He became her life. For so many years, he was the only man she gave attention to. She thought he was the perfect guy. And now she realized—she had been scammed.

She chugged the bottle of alcohol beside her as if it were just mineral water, wiping her mouth roughly after downing half of it.

And of all the women he could hook up with, it had to be her sister—the villain of her life! Tanya was probably laughing and celebrating by now.

She had finally ruined Gail’s life. She got what she wanted. First, Gail’s position as the CEO of her father’s company. She knew Tanya had something to do with her removal from the post because a week after she was removed, Tanya replaced her. Tanya had their father’s full attention, while Gail had to beg for even a scrap of it.

She could see the triumph on Tanya’s lips right now. She didn’t just get her position at Victorius; she stole Lance, too.

The face of her mother, Meredith, popped into her mind. She was the one Gail ran to after leaving Lance’s condo. But her mother just stared at her as if she didn’t care.

She didn’t comfort her, calm her down, or try to make her feel better—things a mother usually does when she sees her child fall and get hurt.

Instead, she just gave her a cold look and said, “Maybe you’re also at fault for why your boyfriend did that to you. Go home and rest. You can still talk this out.”

Gail laughed; it tasted bitter. What else did she expect?

Her mother didn’t like her. She viewed Gail as the result of a mistake. She always looked at her as if she were her life’s biggest regret. She shouldn’t be surprised. She had another family, after all.

Gail was just the child born from her parents’ youthful indiscretion. An illegitimate child.

Her parents had their own families, and she was never their priority. Her dad’s attention was on his daughter, Tanya. The only daughter in his eyes.

No one cared for her. No one would care even if she died today.

God, she hated this life. She was probably the most pathetic woman in the world. She didn’t want to pity herself. She wanted to be strong, but she couldn’t. She was losing reasons to continue. She felt like she had absolutely nothing left.

The car was filled with her sobs. She chugged the bottle of alcohol again, wanting to get drunk until she couldn’t remember anything that happened today. She wanted to pretend she didn’t see the betrayal of the first man she ever loved.

Like hell! Even if she drank every drop in the bottle, it wouldn’t erase the painful truth. It was like a dagger repeatedly stabbing her. She had nothing. That realization echoed in her brain.

She forced a smile despite the sobbing. She had always been kind to people. She was patient when needed. She let others have the advantage. She humbled herself.

Now, how come she deserved all this pain? She tried to find a reason why this was happening to her. Her life was a mess.

She stopped the car on the side of the road. Her eyes were blurry from crying; if she continued driving, she might get into an accident.

She still wanted to live! Even if she wanted to kill herself with alcohol, she still wanted to live, dammit! She still wanted to sing her favorite song.

“Alexa, play Unfaithful by Rihanna!” She screamed.

She must be losing her mind. Her cellphone rang, and she froze when she saw Lance’s name on the screen. He was calling her. She bit her lower lip, then shook her head. Yes, it was true... she loved him. She loved Lance so much. But after what she saw, was she sure she still wanted to accept him? Was she ready to be a martyr, a fool, and stupid?

She turned off her phone.

Maybe that was it for them. Whatever they had was over. She wasn’t going back to the man who made her feel so worthless. She didn’t want to go back to her old life.

She cried and screamed. Sometimes life is just so unfair. She hugged her trembling body, promising this would be the last time she cried. This was the last time the person she loved would trample on her feelings. She was tired. From her mother, her father, Tanya, and Lance... She was so fucking tired. This would be the last time.

She wiped her tears and calmed herself for a moment. She started the car again. The rain was pouring heavily as she drove. She was heading to her cousin’s house in Lobo, Batangas, planning to stay there for a while. She had decided to get away.

She was driving fast when she saw a goat crossing the road. She panicked. She was going to hit it! She couldn’t afford to kill an innocent goat! Even a goat has a life! In her panic to avoid the poor animal, she swerved. It was too late to realize she was going to crash into a tree.

She thought she was going to die. She was saying her last words... God, oh God, don’t take me yet. I haven’t gotten revenge on those who wronged me!

She tried to control the vehicle, but it went straight into a tree. She was deafened by her own scream when she crashed into a banana tree.

She really must be going crazy. Who dies from crashing into a banana tree, huh? She was just overreacting. She started the car again, but it began to malfunction. Just like Lance.

Her car, which she had also loved for years, was failing her now? She tried to revive the engine, but she was only deafened by its groan before it completely died.

It died. Just like Tanya’s eyes while she was getting pleasured in her boyfriend’s lap. Now even her car had died!

She cursed loudly. Was fate really determined to play with her? Was heaven punishing her? Irritated, she slammed the steering wheel.

Inhale. Exhale. She needed to calm down. She couldn’t be stuck here. Her car just had to break down in the middle of heavy rain and mud! Talk about bad luck.

“You’re so fucked up, Gail,” she whispered to herself before deciding to get out of the car. She didn’t care about the large raindrops falling on her body. It looked like the car was really broken. The tire had hit a large, sharp rock.

She held her forehead in sheer frustration. What now? Was bad luck attached to her name? She started crying and sat weakly in the mud. She waited for lightning to strike her just to complete fate’s punishment. But that didn’t happen. Instead, she heard heavy footsteps approaching.

“Miss, are you okay?”

She lifted her face and looked through blurry eyes to see who it was.

She saw a man riding a black stallion. A shirtless Adonis. He was wearing jeans and black boots. With his size and stature, it was like he was plucked straight out of a Mexican soap opera. He was well-built, his hard muscles bursting with strength. He dismounted from the horse.

Good Lord, he was tall. Around six-two, probably. She looked at his face. She was sure the alcohol was kicking in, but she never made a mistake in assessing men. He looked so fucking good. She had seen many handsome men in her life—some she just passed by—but this one was a sexy beast.

She stared. His muscular body was wet from the rain, water flowing freely down his broad chest to his ripped abs.

She looked at those big tattooed arms and bit her lip to stop herself from cursing. His arms were so big and thick, and his bulging pecs were on point. It literally screamed sex.

This one is a dangerous male species. Warning signs were screaming all over him. He looked like the type of man who preferred hard, rough sex.

God. What the hell was she thinking?

“Miss, are you alright? Can you hear me?” His voice was almost a shout. She didn’t know if it was just the alcohol, but she found it arousing. Him screaming in her face. She could already picture it in her head.

Fuck her. She was really hit hard because she was starting to feel her insides quivering at the sight of him. She felt like she wanted his hands all over her body while lying in the mud under the rain.

This is not good.

He approached her and held her shoulder. She looked up at the man. He was frowning at her. He had thick eyebrows, and his gray eyes stared piercingly.

“Miss, are you listening? Or are you deaf?”

Her eyes narrowed. “Did you just assume I’m deaf?”

The man clicked his tongue. “So you can hear.”

“I answered, didn’t I? You must be the one who’s deaf,” she retorted.

The corner of his lip lifted. Amusement glinted in his eyes. “What are you doing here?” he asked.

She averted her eyes. What was she doing? Right. She was escaping. Running away. And now she was stuck here, in the middle of the rain. It wasn’t as heavy anymore, just drizzling. But she couldn’t feel the cold because of the heat she was feeling.

“You should get back to your car. The rain is heavy. Do you want to get sick?”

Was he seriously asking that? While he was riding his horse, shirtless and getting soaked in the rain?

“Do you think I want this? Can’t you see? My car tire is blown!”

The man glanced at it, then looked at her. “Bad luck.” She didn’t know if his tone was concerned or if he was teasing her. “So you’re stuck here. Are you from around here?”

She smiled bitterly. So, what is this, an interview in the middle of the rain?

“I’m from Makati. I’m on the way to Lobo, Batangas. Do you know where that is?”

“That’s just the next town over.”

“Is it far?”

“Not really far. But you still need to travel to get there.”

She wiped her face and ran her fingers through her hair, trembling. Fuck.

If there’s a name for being unlucky, it must be ABIGAIL CORTEZ. In Caps Lock.

Tears formed in her eyes again. She wanted to curse Lance. He was the reason she was in this situation right now. Fuck him! Fuck Tanya! She hoped they were incredibly happy with all the misfortune she was suffering right now.

“But if you need my help, I can help you.”

She looked at the stranger. He was looking at her seriously. She couldn’t read his emotion.

“You look pretty pale right now, Miss. Are you okay?”

“I—I am okay.” She forced a smile at the man. Her lips were trembling. Even if he didn’t tell her, she could see herself right now. Her situation. She looked like a wet chick.

“You don’t look okay to me.”

“I am okay.”

“No, you’re not. You need help. I can help you.”

She smiled bitterly and looked at him. “How noble.”

“I’m serious. It’s getting dark. It stopped, but the rain will get stronger later, especially with the storm. And you’re stuck here. The vulcanizing shop is far from here, Miss.”

She wanted to roll her eyes at him. Seriously, how many times had he called her ‘Miss’?

“I’ll just wait for morning then.”

He frowned at her. “That would be dangerous for you.”

“Isn’t it also dangerous if I just accept help from a stranger like you? I’m not sure if you’re really a good person.” She looked at the tattoos on his arms. Since the man was shirtless, she noticed he had some on his side, too. She swallowed. He was really fit.

His body was ripped.

“I’m not a criminal. I won’t take advantage of your situation. I live just around here, and I own a small villa.”

“Thank you for the offer. But no thanks. I’ll be okay here.”

He inhaled sharply. “Did you skip the part where I told you it’s not safe here?”

She looked around. They were surrounded by tall trees. The silence of the forest was deafening. The road wasn’t paved. It looked like the setting of Friday the 13th and Hatchet. Yeah, she was a fan of those movies. Humans were scarier to her than the monsters and white ladies in Philippine Ghost Stories.

“Look. It’s not safe for a woman like you to stay here. I can offer you a place to stay. I’ll also help you get your car fixed.”

“Just leave me alone.”

“Don’t ask me to leave you here, woman. If you were with someone, I might do that. But you’re alone here, and you look like you’re going to pass out any minute. Obviously, I’m not okay with leaving you here alone,” he said, staring at her swollen eyes.

She avoided his eyes. The rain couldn’t hide the fact that she had been crying for a while. He held her chin and lifted it so she would look at him. Breathing deeply, she stared at him.

She found herself staring at his eyes. For some unknown reason, she felt a part of her body suddenly come alive. Heat traveled through her veins.

Her gaze dropped to his lips. They were red and looked so soft. But that didn’t subtract from his masculinity; it added to it. She couldn’t help but imagine those lips moving against hers, down to her neck... down to the space between her thighs... Desire throbbed at her core. She swallowed at the image of his face buried between her legs.

“Did someone hurt you? Messy heartbreak?”

As if burned, she pushed him away. She didn’t want this man to pity her. He was just a stranger. He shouldn’t care about her!

“That’s none of your business. Leave. Just leave me here.”

“I’m not leaving until I’m sure you’re safe.”

“That’s really nice of you. I hate to break it to you, but you’re not some knight in shining armor. And I’m not the damsel-in-distress type of girl; I don’t need saving. Sorry to disappoint you.”

“I’m not trying to prove anything. I’m just trying to help. What’s your problem? Look, in your situation, you should be grateful that someone is willing to help you. And if I just leave you here, I’m pretty sure you’ll just get hurt.”

His eyes dropped to her body. She suddenly remembered she was wearing a short dress made of thin fabric. She was sure the shape of her body was visible because she was wet. And in his eyes, she was practically wearing nothing.

Her face heated up. She was wearing a dress that showed too much skin. And it was all because of her boyfriend, who always criticized her conservative clothes. Saying she might as well become a nun! That jerk!

The pain and grief returned to her chest. She wanted revenge on Lance. She wanted to return the deception he did to her. Absentmindedly, she stared at the man in front of her. Something sparked in her brain.

That’s crazy. She wouldn’t do that... But she noticed something about the man. He seemed to be avoiding looking at her. His shoulders were tense, and he seemed to be fighting some temptation. She was familiar with that kind of reaction. She stuck out her tongue and wet her lips. She saw his eyes follow the movement of her tongue. Heat flared in his eyes. His jaw clenched with desire.

She knew it. He was just like other men who responded to seduction. Heat rose in her veins... Why not?

She studied the man right in front of her. She wanted revenge. She wanted to get even with Lance. And this stranger was offering her his help.

Her eyes narrowed. She'd better stop acting like a medieval princess. It was time for her to step up her game.

“So you really suggest I should go with you?”

He nodded. “As I said, I’ll help you, even with your car.”

“That’s really nice of you.”

“I’m not nice. I’m just being concerned here.”

She raised an eyebrow. She didn’t believe that. Were there any men left like that? He was too good to be true. She was sure there was a price for his help. She held her head high.

“Really, that’s still nice of you... Mister?”

“Damon,” he extended his hand. “Damon Sterling.”

“Call me Gail,” she introduced herself and took his palm. She squeezed his hand. He let go as if burned. Oh, playing the virgin card? She doesn’t buy that.

She cupped her breast and slid her palm downwards... The young man’s lips parted. Then, she saw the hunger in his eyes. The glint there yearned as it followed the slide of her palm down to her thigh. He swallowed hard.

He wanted her. She wasn’t numb. She could feel the tension in his body. This hot guy wants her, obviously.

“You have to decide now, Miss. I can promise that you can trust me.”

She licked her lips once more. Slowly.

When she heard him gasp, her suspicion was confirmed. He was attracted to her. It might be madness, but she liked the effect she had on him.

“We have no time. We have to go before it rains again,” his voice was hoarse. The man spoke without looking at her. Her gaze dropped to the front of his pants. It was bulging, and it seemed he didn’t know how to hide it.

Oh. She’s not so unfortunate after all.
