Reality
Night - kai’s house
The house was quite
Too quiet
Kai sat on the couch while Tyler dropped his bag on the floor
Tyler: “finally.sleepover time”
Kai: “You say that like we're not just going to stay awake until 3am.”
Tyler: “Exactly, that's the whole point.”
They laugh
Everything feels normal
Until…
Tyler: “wait”
Kai: “what?”
Tyler: “I’m hungry”
Kai freezes for a second
Then -
Kai: “PFFT-”
He starts laughing out of nowhere
Not a normal laugh
A snort-laugh
Kai: - “I'm sorry”
Tyler: “WHY DID YOU LAUGH LIKE THAT??”
Kai: “how would I know???...i mean it just happened”
Tyler shakes his head
Tyler: “Just open the fridge.”
Kai wipes his face, still smiling.
Kai: “Okay,okay”.
They walk towards the kitchen
Kai opens the fridge
The door swings open
Silence.
No food.
No light.
Just a long, dark tunnel stretching deeper than anything that should fit inside a fridge.
A cold wind flows out , Kai's smile drops instantly.
Kai: “...”
He leans closer
Kai: “holy shit!”
Tyler goes completely still
Tyler: “bro…your fridge has a secret-tunnel”
Kai: “That makes no sense”
Tyler: “your fridge literally became a portal and you're worried about logic?”
Kai: “just forget it”
Tyler: “whatever dude”
Kai: “so”
Tyler: “NO.”
Kai: “you don't even know what I was going to say”
Tyler: “you were going to say we should go inside”
Kai: “...”
Tyler: “Kai.”
Kai: “Okay yeah.”
The fridge tunnel stays open,cold air spilling into the kitchen.
Kai leans forward, still staring inside.
Tyler: “I don't think we should go inside”
Kai turns to him immediately
Kai: “c’mon”
Tyler’s eyes widen.
Tyler: “Bro are you nuts???”
Kai pauses
He looks back at the tunnel
Then shrugs slightly
Kai: “Maybe a little.”
Tyler just stares at him in disbelief.
Tyler: “That is not reassuring Kai.”
A long silence
The tunnel hums softly, like it's waiting…
Kai takes a deep breath
The cold air from the fridge tunnel brushes past his face
Tyler is still staring at him like he's lost his mind.
Tyler: “If we die, I'm haunting you first”
Kai nods
Kai: “noted”
Silence.
The tunnel hums again deeper this time.
Like it's inviting them in.
Kai steps forward
Kai: “okay we go.”
Tyler's eyes widen
Tyler: “Bro - wait-”
But Kai already grabs the edge of the fridge frame.
And steps inside…
Tyler is right behind him still tense.
Tyler: “if this is a prank,i swear-”
Kai: “it's not a prank”
A pause
The cold air pulls at them like it's impatient.
Kai looks back one last time at the kitchen behind them
Normal.
Safe.
Too late to return.
He steps forward.
Kai: “ we go together.”
Tyler sighs
Tyler: “okay”
They both step in.
The world flips instantly.
No warning.
No transition.
Wind rushes past them.
The kitchen is gone
The fridge is gone
Only flickering light surrounds them.
Tyler grabs Kai's arm
Tyler: “Bro- what's going on???”
Kai: “I DON'T KNOW!!”
The lights turn on
Slowly,they turn around…
They are in a long tunnel model of shifting white panels and endless doors on both sides.
No fridge
No house
Just this impossible corridor.
Tyler scared
Tyler : “Yeah no, I want a refund from reality.”
A distant sound…

Click… click…. click
Something is coming…
