Her debut work is a semi- fictionalized account of her own upbringing, exploring the complexities of family trauma and the courage it takes to break the cycle of abuse. By writing for an international audience, Adora aims to show the world that while many Filipinos face a “long road of trials,” they possess a unique strength that allows them to survive and build beautiful lives for themselves and their families.
