"I thought there was plot holes in book one! There's not! Every single one is being filled (pun intended... or not) 😉. The author did a great job building suspense all the way to book 2. I've rarely read a faster or more compelling book. I did not expect this at all 😭😭. The next book better fix everything. "

"Already book two is out and I'm excited! I am here for the suspense now, and this delivers. So many of my questions from book one are already being answered even in the first few chapters. Seeing the characters back to conversation is refreshing and seems to show that they'll get over it? I don't know. But I am excited!! Update: so I finished the book. I will be waiting for book 3 now. The suspense is greatly written! Kai and Myra get so close... I can't spoil it. I did not expect anything done in the plot. I think the pace is even faster in this one? I loved it. If you're just scrolling it is worth stopping 😳. Everything so far has been great to read, spicy early on, and so much more tension later on. "

"Someone needs to explain the end to me. I’m totally lost. Where did the onyx queen come from? He’s not the ruler? He was under control? It’s a tough read but a good read, but some things are confusing. Maybe an authors note of explanation could help! Still unclear about her treatment at beginning of book 1 even! What was the purpose of that? Anywho maybe it is just me, but I got lost a few times."
