Synopsis
Madeline Willows was never fond of the boring family trip but a carriage ride through the mountains with her siblings seems fun and seemed harmless enough. That was before the mist rolled in. That was before the lead carriage vanished into the shadows, leaving Madeline and her siblings alone. They had no choice but to go ahead in search of shelter or help.
Guided by desperation, she stumbles upon a towering, ancient castle hidden away from the world. An Ancient Castle that seems to be waiting for a visitor. As she enters in it's shadowy halls flocks of bats swirl over her head.Inside, the air is cold, and the silence is heavy with chilling environment. A pale butler welcomes, explaining that the castle's Lord is away on travel but will return shortly - and that they are welcome to stay as guests in the meantime.
Madeline and her siblings settles into the castle's lavish halls, unaware that local lore speaks of a dark presence within its walls.
Lost travelers who enter are said to vanish without a trace, and the castle harbors secrets older than memory itself. And she is exactly what the Ancient has been waiting for. In this castle, death wasn't the end of the road for her-it was just the beginning of the Feast.
