Summary

Anglo Ember, a 22-year-old prodigy born with unmatched magical and martial talent, was raised at the Iron Lotus Temple where he mastered Shaolin kung fu, arcane magic, and the ancient art of Beast Shifting. Able to transform into powerful creatures such as wolves, falcons, panthers, dragons, and more, Anglo was destined for greatness—until the night the Crimson Sovereign, an ancient vampire lord, destroyed the temple and slaughtered everyone he loved. Surviving the massacre, Anglo swears revenge and begins a journey to grow stronger. Along the way he meets Seraphina Vale, a deadly vampire hunter with her own tragic past tied to the Sovereign, and Garrick Valdren, a legendary dragon slayer who first mistakes Anglo for a monster. The three form an uneasy alliance as Anglo trains relentlessly, mastering a unique power system known as Beast Arts, where shapeshifting, arcane magic, and martial combat fuse into devastating techniques. When the Sovereign sends his terrifying generals to hunt him, Anglo faces the Blood Tyrant Varkaros in a catastrophic battle. Pushed to the brink of death, Anglo awakens the Dragon King form—an evolution of his Beast Sage power that merges dragon supremacy with the instincts of all his animal forms. Now stronger than ever, Anglo continues his training while preparing for the next threats: nightmare-weaving vampires, shapeshifter hunters, and the Crimson Sovereign himself. His path is no longer just revenge. It is the rise of a legend.

Chapter 1

The Night the Temple Burned The wind screamed through the mountains. Cold. Violent. Unnatural. Snow swirled across the stone rooftops of the Iron Lotus Temple, a monastery that had stood untouched for nearly eight hundred years. Inside the courtyard, monks trained beneath lantern light. Their movements were precise. Controlled. Every strike carried the sound of air splitting. At the center of the courtyard stood a young man. Tall. Broad-shouldered. Dark hair falling across sharp eyes. Kael Dorsein. Twenty-two years old. And already the strongest fighter in the temple. A master monk stepped forward. Grandmaster Huo. His voice was calm but firm. “Again.” Kael nodded. He stepped forward and inhaled slowly. The air around him changed. Arcane energy began to ripple outward from his body like invisible waves. The monks watching from the courtyard edge grew silent. They could feel it. That terrifying power. Kael lowered his stance. Then moved. In a single instant he vanished. CRACK. His fist struck the stone pillar beside the grandmaster. The pillar shattered instantly. Fragments exploded across the courtyard. Several monks gasped. Grandmaster Huo simply smiled. “Good.” Kael rubbed the back of his neck. “I held back.” “Yes,” the old master replied. “Which is the only reason the temple is still standing.” Soft laughter spread among the monks. But the moment didn’t last long. A distant sound echoed through the mountains. A horn. Low. Ancient. Every monk froze. Grandmaster Huo’s smile vanished. “That…” he whispered. “It cannot be.” The temple bells began ringing violently. One of the younger monks ran into the courtyard. His face was pale. “Grandmaster!” “What is it?” The monk struggled to speak. “Monsters…” The courtyard fell silent. “An army of monsters is coming.” Kael turned toward the mountain path. And for the first time in his life… He felt something strange. A cold presence. Watching him. Waiting. High above the clouds… A pair of crimson eyes opened. And the Crimson Sovereign smiled.

The Night Army The horn echoed again. Long. Ancient. The sound rolled through the mountains like a funeral bell. Snow drifted across the stone courtyard of the Iron Lotus Temple as every monk turned toward the dark mountain road below. Torches flickered violently in the wind. Anglo Ember felt the energy first. Not the sound. Not the fear. The energy. Something unnatural crawled through the air like poison. His fingers slowly clenched. “Vampires…” he muttered. Grandmaster Huo’s eyes narrowed. “You feel it.” Anglo nodded. “It’s everywhere.” Another monk ran into the courtyard, nearly slipping on the icy stone. His chest heaved as he tried to catch his breath. “There are thousands of them!” The courtyard erupted into murmurs. Thousands? That was impossible. The Iron Lotus Temple sat hidden deep within the mountains. No army had ever found it. Grandmaster Huo raised his hand. Silence returned instantly. “All disciples prepare for battle.” His voice carried absolute authority. “Defensive formations.” Monks began moving immediately. Weapons were drawn. Runic lanterns were lit along the temple walls. Ancient protective sigils carved into the stone began to glow faintly. Anglo walked toward the courtyard gate. His boots crunched against the snow. The wind howled through the valley below. And then he saw them. At first it looked like darkness. A living sea of black shapes moving through the snow. But as they drew closer… The truth became clear. Vampires. Hundreds. No… Thousands. Their eyes glowed red in the darkness. Clawed hands. Fanged smiles. Behind them marched creatures even worse. Massive winged beasts. Undead knights riding skeletal horses. And towering among them were creatures that resembled demons made from shadow. A younger monk whispered behind Anglo. “This… this is impossible.” Anglo didn’t respond. His gaze was locked on something far behind the army. At the edge of the storm. Standing atop a jagged rock formation. A single figure. Tall. Still. Watching. Even from miles away… Anglo could feel the pressure. His heartbeat slowed. Grandmaster Huo stepped beside him. “You see him.” Anglo nodded slowly. “Yes.” The old master exhaled quietly. “The Crimson Sovereign.” The name hung in the air like a curse. Suddenly— The horn sounded again. But this time it was answered. From the vampire army came a roar. Thousands of monstrous voices howled together. The army surged forward. The battle had begun.

The first wave hit the temple gates like a tidal wave. Vampires leapt over the outer walls. Monks met them midair. Steel clashed. Claws ripped. Blood sprayed across the snow. Anglo stepped into the battlefield. A vampire lunged toward him with inhuman speed. Anglo didn’t move. Not until the creature was inches from his throat. Then— CRACK. His fist struck the vampire’s chest. The impact shattered ribs instantly. The creature flew backward through three others. Anglo moved again. Faster this time. A second vampire tried to slash him with claws. Anglo grabbed its arm. Twisted. SNAP. The limb tore clean off. He spun and drove his elbow into the creature’s skull. The head exploded like glass. More vampires rushed him. Too many. Anglo inhaled slowly. His body shifted. His stance changed. Shaolin technique flowed through his muscles like water. His fists became a blur. Strike. Strike. Strike. Each hit destroyed another monster. But no matter how many fell… More kept coming. Behind him, monks fought desperately across the courtyard. But the enemy numbers were overwhelming. Anglo felt it. The tide was shifting. A massive shadow suddenly dropped from the sky. A winged demon smashed into the temple roof. Stone exploded everywhere. The creature roared. Its body was enormous. Four glowing eyes. Razor wings. It tore a monk apart with one swipe. Anglo’s jaw tightened. “Enough.” The demon noticed him. Its wings spread wide. Then it charged. The ground shook with every step. Anglo rolled his shoulders. And stepped forward. The demon swung a massive claw toward his head. Anglo caught it. The entire courtyard cracked beneath their feet. For a moment neither moved. Then the demon grinned. Its other claw came down. Anglo twisted sideways and slammed his knee into the creature’s rib cage. CRUNCH. The demon roared in pain. But instead of falling… It grabbed him. And lifted him into the air. The creature’s jaws opened wide. Rows of teeth ready to tear him apart. Behind them the vampire army cheered. Anglo hung in its grip. Blood ran down his arm where its claws pierced his skin. For the first time… Pain spread through his body. The demon squeezed harder. Bones creaked. Anglo closed his eyes. Deep inside him… Something stirred. A voice. Ancient. Primal. “Enough playing human.” Anglo’s eyes opened. They were glowing. Gold. The demon hesitated. A sudden surge of energy exploded from Anglo’s body. Wind blasted across the courtyard. Every vampire froze. The demon tried to tighten its grip— But its claws began to crack. Anglo’s body was changing. Bones reshaped. Muscles expanded. Skin rippled like liquid. Energy roared outward like a storm. Grandmaster Huo’s eyes widened. “It’s happening…” The demon screamed as Anglo’s body erupted with power. Scales began forming across his arms. Massive wings tore from his back. The demon tried to release him— Too late. A gigantic claw closed around its throat. Anglo was no longer human. A colossal dragon now towered above the battlefield. Black scales glowed with ancient runes. Golden eyes burned like stars. The demon barely had time to scream. CRUNCH. The dragon crushed its skull instantly. Silence fell across the battlefield. Even the vampires stopped moving. The dragon spread its wings. The wind from the motion blasted enemies off their feet. Flames began building in its throat. Then— A beam of primal fire erupted across the valley. The entire front line of the vampire army vanished in a storm of dragon fire. Thousands of monsters were erased in seconds. High on the distant cliff… The Crimson Sovereign watched calmly. His crimson eyes gleamed with fascination. “So…” He smiled slowly. “The Beast Sage awakens.”
