Working at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center in the Pitt is not for the faint-hearted, the easily offended, or those who think being lazy is the way to go.

It's a balls and ass-busting place that never gets a break. its a shit show a huge majority of the time, and more times than any of us like. its always packed, weather its incoming patients, patients from the waiting area, or patients that are waiting for a room upstairs.

Don't even get me started on Gloria and her Brady Bunch. claiming there aren't enough funds to hire more nurses. I mean, they were able to hire a fill-in for Robby when he does his three month vacy and to have a special plaque made. But to put it to good use for longer than a three-month fill, then it's sorry, not enough money. Bullshit.

But the one thing that really pisses me off, and I am about to lose my shit and possibly get fired. is how Surgery looks down at us as if we are beneath them or grime on their shoes.

I've held my tounge and bit back the words so many times, and I'm not going to do it anymore. And I've told Robby about it so many times.

I understand that you are my boss and that things are always a shit show. But I've had it with those surgery fuckers looking down their noses at us as if we are worthless and just a waste of space or grim on their shoes.

He knows all that I had said to be true, but he himself has done like me and held the remarks and everything back.

I told him I'm not going to hold my tongue or bite my words back anymore. & If the next surgeon that comes down and disrespects us or looks down their noses at us, or is even an asshole, then I'm going off.

He didn't warn me not to, he didn't try to change my mind cause he knew it wouldn't do any good.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
