West Kimura and Layla Santos have been friends since they were kids, a friendship that has got them through the best and worst of their lives. Just as West starts hoping they will be able to live a calm life, Layla goes missing. At first glance it looks like a simple case. However, even after they find Layla and bring her home, West has a sinking feeling that something is terribly wrong. Against his better judgement, he goes back to where it all started and what he finds turns his world upside down.
