The Crown on his head

A crown,

you give this to the highest authority,

A king, queen, prince, princess,

Or best yet , A God.

To you, I’ll never know when,

but you’ve always worn one.

Son of the highest of ranking servants in God’s kingdom.

And named after a fierce-some warrior,

you were met with praise and affection.

The serpent slithered soon,

albeit welcoming you with darkness,

or tempting you with sin,

Prevail or not,

Your father, not the one who was present as your mother conceived you,

I mean the father who reigns Heaven and Earth.

He is blessed to be with you.

But the serpent persist.

You’re surrounded by Father’s children,

All who’d bend their back and knee for you.

People you were destined to guide,

But

O’ what a foul tongue.

A tongue that you can’t control.

To the eyes of the world,

You’re one of the upmost level of grace,

blessed with the Lord’s compassion towards those around you,

a drive and will; a mission sent by the Lord,

As well as a mouth and tongue to speak beautifully of others.

And yet you let the serpent in.

Fluctuating your brain with pride,

“Arrogant! Selfish! Whore!” Slurs run your mouth as you pass the mirror.

You began a cycle,

While you don’t leave a mark on their body,

The breath of their lungs escape

as if it were a cry for help,

When they don’t do as you please,

darkness fills your heart,

wretched curses leave your mouth,

blinded by the storm in your head,

You can no longer see the truth.

Yell her,

Curse her,

Humiliate her,

Let hour aggression be known,

as everyone else praises you for that mountain of delusions you allow them to believe.

Because no matter how shiny your crown may be,

Is it a tride and true golden crown?

Or one made from rust.
