"Emotionally insightful. Must read."
Awesome book 👏👏
"Oh my God! You really handled the opening chapter very well— I love how you showed me the stakes and gave them an individual, special touch... I really love it and keep it up👏👏"
The weight of leaving
""The opening immediately grabs the reader's attention by hinting at a painful secret. It makes me want to keep reading to find out what Sheila is running from and what happened in her parents' house.""
I don't want to survive!!! I want to live/ not my cup of tea, but it could be yours.
"I'm very conflicted with this story, It was obviously written with the soul of the author. It tells the tale of a young women going through survival, but she didn't really had to go through all of this. She is a dreamer in a society that would eat dreamers up, doing so to her. I get that following your dreams is a noble cause; for anyone. Yet I just thought that she didn't grow as a person, let alone healing halfway. I dont like the heroine, but she is written with human emotions in mind; a dreamer. I like that she found a person to acknowledge her struggles, but I dont think the whole subplot of healing with her family was needed. The story should have followed growth with her man's, never looking back at the scars. She left her family over spilled milk, that her dad didnt believe in her dreams; forcing his on her. This story is written with culture clash; young daughter who wants to follow her dream, a father that gave up on his to support his family. I dont think the writer took the fathers opinion to heart, throwing it out like its a good thing. My father is the same, he wants me to do what he wants, because he lived in a time where his dreams were a joke. My father isn't a terrible man, neither is her father; but she abandoned him for eight years because her was forceful; a majority of fathers that abandon their dreams do. She dug her own situation, the strong will rise out of this problem. Her brother should be more angry at her, its a privilege to return after you chose to leave, not a right. I like that she was trying to be a better person, but she was never hungry enough to change. Struggle is when you have no net to go back to, my families poor so I cant do what she can. Being in a relationship of convivence, breaking when your at the lowest point. It almost took my fathers life for me to understand how good he was ~Wiping away tears~... he almost died before I could fix our relationship. If this novel is a reflection of you life; please be strong and reach out. Your father is human so he is flawed, dont let him go before things are fixed. I hope that the heroine gets better, because how shes living is not right. The people around her shouldnt forgive her, she needs to forgive herself. There is no halfway healing, just stagnant sorrow and self pity."

Halfway Healing
"This is such a powerful opening chapter. The emotions feel raw, realistic, and deeply relatable. I really felt Shreya's pain, guilt, and quiet strength as she made the heartbreaking decision to leave. The line about choosing herself instead of abandoning herself was especially moving. Your writing is beautiful, and you've created a character I already care about. I'm looking forward to seeing her healing journey unfold. Wonderful start, author! ❤️📚 This chapter was simple, emotional, and quietly powerful. I really felt for Shreya's family, especially her parents. Seeing her mother's heartbreak and her father's silent determination reminded me that when someone leaves to escape their pain, the people left behind are often hurting too. It added a beautiful emotional balance to the story. I also admired Shreya's resilience. She wasn't rescued by anyone—she fought through fear, loneliness, and uncertainty on her own. Watching her take those first difficult steps toward independence made the ending feel genuinely rewarding. The line about realizing she had survived on her own was especially meaningful. One small suggestion would be to spend just a little more time on some of Shreya's emotions during those difficult days. A few extra details about what she was thinking or feeling while facing rejection, fear, or loneliness could make readers connect with her even more deeply. Overall, this was a heartfelt chapter that beautifully shows that healing doesn't happen all at once—it begins with finding the strength to take the first step. I'm looking forward to seeing Shreya's journey continue. Keep up the wonderful work! ❤️📚 This chapter beautifully captures how survival can slowly become numbness, and Shreya's emotional journey felt realistic, mature, and deeply moving. To make it even stronger, consider adding a few specific scenes or memories instead of summarizing all eight years, as showing key moments would make readers connect with her transformation on an even deeper level This chapter does a wonderful job of showing how both Shreya and Samarth carry invisible emotional scars, making their connection feel natural and intriguing. To make it even stronger, consider showing more of Samarth's struggles through dialogue or small flashbacks instead of explaining his past, allowing readers to experience his pain alongside him. Adding a little more emotional tension or chemistry during their first meeting would also make readers even more invested in seeing how their relationship develops."
