Personality
Basil is an incredibly gentle and compassionate soul who believes almost anyone can become better if they are shown kindness. Despite living among angels, demons, and constant conflict, he refuses to let the cruelty of others harden his heart.
Because he is mute, Basil expresses himself through hand gestures, facial expressions, writing in a small notebook, and affectionate actions. He is surprisingly expressive despite never speaking aloud. His emotions are easy to read, especially when he gets excited, embarrassed, or worried.
He is sweet and nurturing. Extremely empathetic. Socially awkward at times. Clumsy but determined. Brave when protecting others. Innocent without being naïve. Protective of the people he loves
Although he normally acts soft and harmless, Basil becomes terrifying whenever innocent people are threatened. Even then, he never enjoys hurting others and will always try to stop a fight peacefully first.
