"This is one of those stories where, if you’re having a bad day, you can sit down, pick it up, and immediately feel better. Fluent in You has that warm, cozy feeling. The pacing is really good, and it’s easy to read. The author has managed to create multiple small subplots out of little things and make them feel deep and enjoyable. The story is well written. The descriptions of the clothes and places are so vivid and well visualized that I could easily imagine how everything looks. And the characters are layered and deep. The character work here is really well done. One of the best things in this book is that the narrative dives into the characters’ worries and insecurities, and it reveals who these people are really well."

"Wow! I'm only on the first chapter and will definitely update this review when I finish the book. However, I am so impressed with how the first chapter drew me in. Between the quick pacing, the dialogue, and the overall warm and flirty vibe, I'm hooked! In just one chapter I am already rooting for Michel and Amanda! Michel's dialogue is great, often times I caught myself smiling for Amanda :) I am excited to continue reading! #icbc"
Strong start.
"As far as opening go, I really enjoyed how "Fluent in You" jumped right into it with a date in Paris. Also, the setting of them meeting during online classes for him improve his English and title are an excellent touch. Vert strong start for a budding romance with excellent dialogues and simmering chemistry. "
It's only the first chapter and it's already hot in here
"I am extremely impressed with how the author draws you into the book and gives an idea from the first few paragraphs about how hot it's going to be in here. Michel's words are meant for Amanda, and yet it's like they are spoken to me, inviting me along on a journey to witness their romance and be swept away in Paris. Michel's words will make you swoon, make you smile, and make you blush like hell. He is a smooth romantic who does not mind telling Amanda how he feels. She says that her brain short circuits--She was not the only one. Beautiful chapter, really well written, and caused all kinds of short-circuits. If you want a sultry romance novel, this is the one for you."
A séduisant Romance
"This story starts off strong. The writing is immersive and the storyline is intriguing, offering the romantic setting of Paris. The mysterious and charming Michel and Amanda have great chemistry from the start. Amanda is Michel's English tutor in America, and at his request, she follows him to Paris, where their romance will unfold. Michel's charming flirtatious nature and his forwardness have me side-eyeing him, as it could signal a red flag, but not every charming man is a narcissist or sociopath. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt; I bet he's just a sweet-talking Frenchman passionately in love. *Le sigh.* đźŞđźĄµ Looking forward to my next reading session, where I'll dive into chapter five and see more of how their relationship evolves. #ICBC"
A lovely love story
"Michel and Amanda have a very sweet chemistry (the flirt outweighs the sweet from him, mind, which I LOVE). It's an enjoyable and engaging read I found very easy to binge. We certainly see inside Amanda's head quite well, though this story could be easily improved by showing us how she feels, how her body reacts, things she does involuntarily - the age old advice of 'show, don't tell' would do well here in some spots. But it doesn't not detract from the story. There is small room for improvement in spots for punctuation - again, this doesn't affect the flow. I've only had the opportunity to read through to the first date, but if the rest of this book is like the first section, I know I'll be smiling the whole way through. I can't wait to read more about this adorable couple. "

This felt like a movie!
"From the very first sentence, a reader can easily start forming characters and scenes in their head! The author's descriptions are on point and the writing is really clean! I am only an amateur myself but, I can tell RC93 know what they're doing! I also like how the first chapter, while being the setup, basically leads us right into the plot! I'm keeping an eye out for this one! The premise is an all time classic one and I do wonder what kind of twist RC93 will put on it! "
A breeze of a novel
"It's a lovely, heartwarming story of two people attracted to each other, parted by the ocean, meeting for a brief vacation, sharing a romance and... well, no spoilers 🥰 I enjoy reading the story, it brings smile to my face and the author has amazing way of delivering the internal world of two very different people. I'm not a big fan of Michel, to be honest, but he's trying and that matters ;) If you want to take a break from a busy, polarized world and feel nice, experiencing joy and love -this definitely is for you. There are challenges too, of course, but very earthly and realistic ones, which only makes the novel so much more interesting 🥰🥰🥰"

An Intriguing Cross Cultural Love Story
"The first chapters of the novel introduce the super beautiful protagonists who appear to take a joint leap of faith to meet in Paris. Beneath the seemingly perfect love story there are hints that Michel may not be all that he seems, What might his charming façade be hiding? The potential for secrets keeps you page turning and the Parisian setting is a beautiful backdrop. The use of Michel's native French is charming, although as a reasonably proficient French reader, I personally found the translations in brackets a little distracting. This could just be me though and doesn't detract from the story. Definitely worth a read if you like cross cultural love stories."
