Preface
They say there’s a monster in those born to be evil. That there’s a merciless beast inside everyone’s destined to be dark heart that longs to be released.
That’s only half true.
It’s not about who one was born as, or “destined” to be. It’s what the person chooses to do, chooses to say, think.
A wolf can be tame, but has a strength that rivals prey.
A snake can be soft, but has a bite that can kill.
A fox can be kind, but has a cunning mind.
Although… a harmless deer can buck. A turtle can snap.
No one is born evil. It’s learned, observed, chosen.
Anyone can have a monster in them.
It’s when one embraces the monster they become a beast.
