Strangers meet—I never had the thought

Strangers so different—a cat and wolf

Such friendship was made but not for so long

For feelings of hearts grew deep and were born

This cat and this wolf, yet their love so strong

Walls so high forbid such story told

Lost cat wonders if she’ll see her lone wolf

and lone wolf as well seeks his cat to hold

Revelry and smile quickly came and go

as the sky altered itself as it’s so

Not close, yet not far, they’re not so alone

For deep in their hearts, together, they’re close

Waiting, still waiting, this cat and this wolf

Distance, it’s hard; will they keep holding on?
