Bloodline of Betrayal

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

In a world ruled by power, silence, and blood, he was the heir of a feared mafia empire—cold, untouchable, and dangerous. He never cared for emotions… until her. She was supposed to be just his best friend’s sister. Someone irrelevant to his dark world. But then, someone started watching her. A shadow that followed her everywhere. A presence she could feel but never see clearly. At the same time, his own world began to collapse— his father vanished… his brother disappeared… and secrets buried for years started to rise. What he didn’t know was that every answer was connected to one truth: His own blood was the biggest betrayal. As love slowly turns into obsession, and trust breaks into lies, he is forced to choose— between his family’s past… and the girl who became his weakness. But in a world like theirs, love always comes with a price. And betrayal… always comes from blood.

The Eyes in the Dark

The night was unusually quiet.

Not peaceful.

Just... wrong.

A cold breeze brushed against my skin as I walked down the nearly empty street. The streetlights flickered above me, casting long shadows across the pavement.

I tightened my grip on my bag.

Then I heard it.

Footsteps.

Slow.

Steady.

Behind me.

My heart skipped a beat.

I stopped walking.

The footsteps stopped too.

Silence.

I slowly turned around.

Nothing.

The street was empty.

No people.

No cars.

No movement.

I let out a shaky breath.

"You're imagining things, Ishu," I whispered to myself.

But deep down, I knew I wasn't.

Because this wasn't the first time.

For weeks, I had felt it.

The sensation that someone was watching me.

Following me.

Waiting.

I forced myself to continue walking.

One step.

Two steps.

Three.

Then my phone vibrated.

A message.

Unknown Number.

My stomach twisted.

With trembling fingers, I opened it.

I saw you looking for me.

I froze.

The blood drained from my face.

A second message appeared.

Don't worry. I'll reveal myself soon.

My hands began to shake.

Who was this?

And how did they know exactly where I was?

Suddenly, I felt it again.

That presence.

That feeling.

Someone was watching.

I looked across the street.

At the end of the alley.

A dark figure stood beneath a broken streetlight.

Motionless.

Watching.

And before I could react...

The figure disappeared.

"Who are you?" I whispered into the darkness.

But the only answer was silence.

And somewhere far away, hidden in the shadows...

Someone smiled.
