Being a nurse that works with kids in the Peds Department is something I really enjoy doing. Yeah there are kids who pull your hair, scream in your face, and just loose their marbles. but the ones that arent that way. make up for those who are.
See growing up I didnt have the greatest up bring. being bounced around in foster care, being abused, neglected, and so many times abandon. Up till I was the rightful age of eighteen. then I managed to surive on my own. which was tough and not something I’d ever want to see any one go through.
I worked hard, busted my ass to stay in school, go through college and be someone who can help and make a difference.
and I did all that alone which is okay since I’m perfectly used to it. But then I met my roomates who are doctors at the PTMC which is where I work and we get along greatly. they have learned i’m not talkative. i’m bashful,shy, and stick to myself. not to be rude its just how I am, and they understand that from my upbrigning
they dont critizie me, they understand me. Well Trinity fully does since she didnt have the grandest up bringing either.
They dont try to push or force me to do anything knowing I’m not a person who wants to go to bars, or clubbing. I rather stay home where i’m not risking someone stabbing me, spiking my drink, or anythign crazy.
But I do go out and enjoy time with them even if its simply shopping for groceries or just having a fun day out that has nothing to do with booze, or drunk people.
