Summary

The darkness should have died with the tyrant king. Instead, it followed them home. As Everi struggles to rebuild after war, old wounds refuse to heal and new threats rise from the shadows. Alliances fracture, secrets buried for generations begin to surface, and the line between friend and enemy grows dangerously thin. The trials are far from over. While ancient powers stir across the kingdoms, Everi and her companions are forced to confront the consequences of their choices.
