"Ok, so I will admit it took me time to read this. Between app issues and real life. But this book is 1000% worth the read. This is a very good book. I had a feeling id like it but I absolutely LOVE it!!"
11 years a lie..
"... 11 years a lesson. The world building was beautiful and clockwork poetic and precise, ornate and honest, gears and sequence, input and outcome. The story was engaging and compelling and thoroughly enjoyable. What caught me was the ghost of a past. My own. Of being part of someone else's script and not realizing it. Of being played while playing your own part. Maren deserves her anger. She is allowed to sit with until it begins to feel like something else. And for all the choices that were made for her, without her permission or awareness, she is the only one allowed to decide when that emotional shifts comes and what that anger changes into. Caleb is a good man. He chose well out of the evils and options he was also ployed into. She will not hate him for long. Or atleast, I admit that I hope she does not - because a man that does wrong for the right and wrong reason simultaneously and still stays to face the consequences is a man she needs. As she says, he is the one she wants to break the circus down with, he is the one she wants to rebuild it with again, new town, new audience - cleaner slate. Slate not wiped clean. But less etched. And with room for their story. Their together story. They have both earned it. Thoroughly enjoyed it - thank you for sharing xxx "
