I'm smoking a cigarette waiting on my girls. There was a party going down at this new spot tonight and we wanted to see what it was about. They finally come out the bathroom.

Me: Fuck bitches! Took y'all long enough!

Meme: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Lux: Plain Jane.

Me: Bet I still pull more motherfuckers than you.

They both start laughing. I grab my keys and we head out to the car. Meme hops in the passenger and cranks the radio up. I steer the car with my knees while I pop a bottle on bourbon. I take a long swig before passing it to Lux in the backseat.

Meme: I heard this place is going to be the next Exotic! Its's called Throttle!

Me: That shit got shut down because all the people that go killed and the amount of drugs flowing through it.

Lux: True! But we had a lot of fun there! Remember when Meme threw up on that girl?!

Meme: Bitch deserved worse than me puking on her!

Me: What do you mean?! We got in a straight up fight with her and her girls!

Meme starts laughing. We did have a lot of good times there. It where we actually met and became friends. Not the greatest way to start off a friendship by fighting in a club. But while we were down at the police station, we were still talking shit to each other and then next thing I know we were laughing and exchanging number when we got released and have been the best of friends ever since. No one fucked with us. You messed with one you messed with all. It did hold bad memories too. It's where I also met Lex, Lux's twin brother. He caused me to become numb to my feelings after he cheated on me. So since then, it's just been me, my girls, and the occasional hook up here and there. We pull up to the club and make our way into the club. The flashing light bounced around the club perfectly in sync to the beat.

Meme: Drinks?!

Me: Hell yeah!

We make our way to the bar and order a round of shots. I turn around and look around the club.

Me: This is nice!

Lux: Way nicer than Exotic!

Meme: Bartender! Another round of shots!

We get another round of shots and down them. I grab their hands and we head out to the dance floor. We danced together. The music was so good, it felt like it was flowing through me. I was getting lost in it. I look across the club and, in the corner, drinking a glass of Jack was this muscular blonde guy with tattoos. He was laughing with some guys when he looks in my direction. I keep dancing, never breaking eye contact with him. A smirk creeps across his face and raises his glass to me. I quickly turn away but when I look back, he was gone. We continue vibing on the dance floor when Lux grabs my attention.

Lux: Holy shit! Who is that at the bar?!

I look in the direction she was pointing, and it was the guy I was looking at earlier. He looks back over his shoulder. Should have known she'd have eyes for him too! I look over to see her fixing her dress and adjusting her breast. She gets ready to make a beeline when I grab her arm.

Me: You know the rules bitch! I want him too meaning you can't approach him!

Lux: Fine! Well, I'll go grab us some drin--.

Me: I'm not playing with you! He picks who he wants.

While we are in the middle of arguing, a bottle server walks up to us. She holds out a tray with a top shelf bottle and three glasses to us.

Server: The guy over at the bar order this for you ladies and said to enjoy your night.

We all look over to the bar and wave.

Meme: Alright, that's it. I want him now. Love a man that flexes their wealth.

Me: Great another bitch to compete with. And for all you know he's not wealthy.

Lux: This is why Marcus won't leave his wife for you.

Meme: I don't want him to. I like being a secret.

She shows off the diamond necklace he just got her. Lux grabs the bottle off the tray.

Lux: Girl gotta get back to work.

I snatch the bottle from her and take a sip. We keep passing it back and forth between the three of us until it was empty. We head back to the dance floor. They both stop dancing.

Meme: Looks like a winner has been declared.

Lux: Enjoy while it last.

They both walk off. I turn around and bump into his chest and start laughing.

Me: Sorry.

Guy: Don't be.

He holds his hand out to me. His voice was deep but not too deep and raspy. I shake his hand.

Guy: Dom.

Me: Dawn.

Dom: Can I buy you another drink Dawn?

Me: Sure.

He places his hand on my waist, and we walk over to the bar. I take and seat and he sits next to me.

Dom: So, what's the deal with you?

Me: Whaddya mean?

Dom: Single? Taken? Complicated? Promiscuous?

Me: Single. You?

Dom: Two of the four.

Me: Which Two?

Dom: Guess you'll have to find out.

Me: So, a player?

Dom: I wouldn't say that.

We were chatting having a great time. When I feel a pair of lips on my neck. I jump up and turn around to see Lex.

Lex: Miss me?

Me: What the fuck are you doing here?!

Lex: I came to see my girl.

Dom: Am I interrupting something?

Me: No! And I'm not your girl anymore! We broke up years ago!

Lex: I messed up. I want you back baby.

Lux comes over and loops her arm with Dom.

Lux: Let's give these two a minute.

She runs her hands down his arm. My own best friend would stab me in the back like that. I take my heels off. I look to Meme and she nods. Just as I'm about to charge at Lux, Lex grabs my arm.

Lex: Don't even think about it.

Dom: Let her go.

Lux: Come on. They do this all the time. Let's dance.

He pulls from her grasp.

Dom: I said let her go!

Lex: Or w--?

Dom's fist came flying so fast I was still trying to process it. Lux runs over to her brother. The whole club erupts into murmurs and gasps. All eyes were on us.

Lux: Are you ok?!

She looks at me before getting in my face screaming. I headbutt her.

Me: You conniving ass bitch! You called you brother! My ex! Because a nigga didn't pick you!

I headbutt her in the face again. She grabs her nose. I punch her in the face. Again. And again. Lex grabs me by my hair slinging me back. Dom grabs his head and slams it down on the bar, Pinning his arm behind his back.

Dom: Don't fucking touch her again!

Meme helps me up and we start whooping the shit out of Lux. When we finish, we look down on her. She was crawling towards Lex. Dom releases him.

Me: You've tried me for the last time bitch. Find you own way home.

I start walking away when Lex tackles me and punches me in the face. I quickly knee him in the balls, and he rolls off of me. I take a glass and smash it across his head. Meme pulls me up.

Me: Fuck you and your garbage ass sister!

Meme grabs my hand when Dom grabs my other.

Dom: I picked you for a reason.

I look to Meme and she lets go of my hand and holds her hands out. I hand her my car keys.

Meme: I'm getting fucked tonight regardless.

I laugh and Dom starts pulling me behind him. We leave the club getting in his car and drive back to his place. As soon as we enter, he closes the door behind me and slams me against it. He starts kissing me. I was already messing with his zipper.

Dom: That was so fucking hot!

He pulls his shirt over his head.

Me: I'm a bit rough around the edges.

Dom: That's what I like.

Me: You can't handle this.

He bites down hard on my neck, and I let out a moan.

Me: You son of a bitch!

Dom: Keep talking to me like that baby.

He pulls my dress down and picks me up, slamming me against the door again.

Me: Hold up! I hope you got protection!

Dom: You really think I'd fuck some random skank in a club without protection?!

Me: Skank?!

Dom: Yeah, skank!

I don't know why him talking to me like that turned me on. It was hot. I wrap my arms around his neck as he slips the condom on and rips my panties off me. He slams into me and I scream.

Dom: Shut the fuck up! Shit!

Me: Would it be weird if I said I was already falling for you?

Dom: No, because I was thinking the same thing.

We just stare at each other for a moment before I pull him closer running my finger through his hair and kiss him. He grabs a fist full of my hair and bites down on my neck again.

Dom: This is my mine now.

Me: I'm yours baby.

I don't know what happened. In that moment, it felt like we both knew the other was the one.
