New Karma Begins

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Time: 8:00 PM (Six Months Later)

The night in Bangkok sparkled with its usual bright city lights.

Everything seemed peaceful...

The 300-year-old Karma Cycle had finally come to an end.

Kawin and Tawan were living their normal lives.

Than and Mek were also happy, enjoying a peaceful life together.

But...

Somewhere...

Something new had awakened.

---

Bangkok Metropolitan Police Headquarters

Kawin was sitting in his office, reviewing a new case file.

Suddenly, a junior officer rushed inside.

"Sir... we've got a strange murder case."

Kawin took the file.

"What's so unusual about it?"

The officer replied quietly,

"Sir... there was no Karma Symbol found at the crime scene."

For a moment, Kawin looked surprised.

"Then what did you find?"

The officer placed a photograph on the desk.

The moment Kawin looked at it, his eyes widened.

A completely new symbol had been drawn on the wall at the crime scene.

A black circle...

A crescent moon at its center...

And broken arrows surrounding it.

Kawin stared at it for a few seconds before whispering,

"I've... never seen this symbol before."

---

Mek's Coffee Shop

Meanwhile...

Mek was preparing coffee when Than walked into the café.

"Good evening."

Mek smiled warmly.

"So, you're here just for coffee again?"

Than laughed.

"For coffee... and to see you."

Mek blushed.

Just then, the television switched to a breaking news report.

"A mysterious murder in Bangkok has left the police puzzled."

The screen displayed the same unfamiliar symbol.

Than's expression immediately turned serious.

"So... another mystery has begun."

---

Tawan's Apartment

Tawan was standing on the balcony, watching the rain fall.

The Karma Symbol locket still hung around his neck.

Suddenly...

The locket became strangely warm.

For a few seconds, a mysterious vision appeared before his eyes.

A dark temple...

An unknown man...

And a chilling voice echoed through the darkness.

"Karma has not ended... it has only changed."

The vision disappeared instantly.

Tawan stepped back in fear.

"Is... it starting again?"

---

Unknown Location

Inside an ancient underground temple...

A man dressed in black stood silently before a wall engraved with the new symbol.

He slowly touched it with his finger.

The entire chamber was instantly filled with dark energy.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"Victor has fallen..."

"But Dark Karma never truly ends."

He slowly opened his eyes.

His pupils were completely black.

"Welcome... to the Second Cycle."

A powerful wind suddenly swept through the temple.

The sentence carved into the wall began to glow.

"Every ending gives birth to a new beginning."

Fated to My Ex- Best Friend

MaybeInACentury: This is probably the best book I've ever read in a really really long time. I couldn't stop once I started. Golden find. Though I do wish the story was written in present tense rather than in past tense, or had an epilogue about what is happening now, it is a masterpiece.

Alicia: Like the plot, definitely a slow read, wish there was more romance doesn’t have to be erotic, but definitely romance so it’s nice especially with shifters but overall good read

Latifa: L'histoire est originale, surprenante mais plaisante. Le suspense était là et l'intrigue aussi. Quelques fautes de style , de construction de phrases et de ponctuation mais l'ensemble était compréhensible et le tout attachant.
