Revenge Of Love Broken Heart's

Revenge of Love Broken Heart's

My name is Tasnim.

This story began many years ago when my family lived in Islamabad, Pakistan. We belonged to one of the most influential feudal families in the country. From the moment I was born, I was treated like a princess. According to our family tradition, I was fed honey with a golden spoon on the day of my birth—a symbol of wealth and prestige.

I was my father’s only daughter, though not his only child. I had three older brothers.

Two of them were just like my father—powerful, short-tempered, and ruthless. But remember one thing: my father was never cruel to me. On the contrary, he loved me more than anything in this world. I was his little princess.

My eldest brother was Shakir, the second was Akmal, and my youngest brother was Khurram.

Unlike the others, Khurram was kind-hearted and compassionate. He had inherited my late mother’s gentle nature. He hated injustice and could never tolerate anyone being oppressed. Perhaps that was the reason my father never truly accepted him. Instead of keeping him close, Father sent him to America to study medicine and become a doctor.

Their relationship had always been distant.

Since childhood, I had never seen Father and Khurram talk like an ordinary father and son.

My mother had passed away when I was only two years old. I never experienced a mother’s love, but whenever I visited Pakistan, our housekeeper, whom everyone lovingly called Daijaan, filled that empty place in my heart. Her affection made me imagine how deeply my own mother must have loved me.

Although all three of my brothers cared for me deeply, I spent most of my childhood in America with Khurram. We lived at my aunt’s house while he completed his education. Every year, I returned to Pakistan for about two months, but Khurram rarely accompanied me because he was always busy with his studies.

Finally, after Khurram completed his MBBS, Father called.

"Come back to Pakistan. I’m building a hospital for you here. And Tasnim will stay with me from now on.”

Khurram respected Father’s decision.

So we returned to Pakistan together.

Our arrival was celebrated with extraordinary grandeur. The entire mansion was decorated, servants stood in neat rows, and everyone welcomed us with great respect.

Then something happened that completely surprised me.

For what felt like the first time in my life, Father embraced Khurram.

I stood there in shock.

There was something hidden between them... a secret I knew nothing about.

Father gifted both of us brand-new luxury cars.

I absolutely fell in love with mine, and Khurram’s car was just as magnificent.

For the first time in years, we were genuinely happy.

The following morning, Khurram and Shakir had to leave early with Father for hospital-related work. They were having breakfast together when I rushed downstairs, unable to hide my excitement.

Father smiled.

“Tasnim, come and have breakfast.”

I shook my head.

“I’m not hungry, Baba. I’m going on a long drive.”

I said it with a cheerful laugh.

Father chuckled.

“My little princess, at least eat something first.”

Akmal immediately stood up.

“Tasnim, I’ll come with you.”

I folded my arms and smiled mischievously.

“Absolutely not. I’m going alone.”

Father looked at my excited face and couldn’t stop smiling.

“Let her go,” he told Akmal.

With a huge grin on my face, I picked up my car keys, walked out of the mansion, and drove away.

That entire day, I enjoyed every single moment behind the wheel, completely unaware that my peaceful life was about to change forever.

Chapter 2: A Call from Fate

A Stranger Arrives to Change Everything

I had completed a course in Fashion Designing, and Father had opened a boutique especially for me. Gradually, I became financially independent. However, I had forgotten one thing—that despite being independent, I still wasn’t free to make my own decisions.

We had a housekeeper named Mehroo, but everyone in the house lovingly called her Daijaan. She was the head of all the servants, yet to me, she was much more than that. She was one of the kindest people I had ever known.

As I mentioned before, whenever I returned from America, Daijaan took wonderful care of me. Through her affection, I finally understood what a mother’s love felt like. I often found myself thinking that if my own mother had been alive, she would have loved me just as deeply.

Daijaan held a special place in my heart.

Her husband had served in the military. When she was only twenty years old, he was martyred during the war. At that time, she had a six-month-old baby in her arms.

Daijaan belonged to our ancestral village in Mirpurkhas. My mother had brought her to our home after her husband’s death. Her real name was Mehroo, but everyone in our family addressed her as Daijaan.

Despite all the hardships she had faced, she worked tirelessly to build a better future for her only son. She

sent him to Karachi to study Computer Engineering, determined to give him the education she had never been able to receive herself.

Her son’s name was Azmat.

He was an exceptionally intelligent young man.

It had been almost six months since Khurram and I had returned to Pakistan, and during that time my boutique had grown remarkably. Business was doing well, but one major problem continued to trouble me.

Almost all of my boutique’s work depended on computers, and I desperately needed a competent computer operator.

I had interviewed countless applicants, but none of them met my standards. One after another, they disappointed me.

Khurram Bhai wanted to help, but he was completely occupied with the hospital and barely had any free time.

Then, without my knowledge, someone was about to enter my life...

Someone who would change everything.

One morning, as I stepped out of my room, I saw a young man standing beside Daijaan.

He was extraordinarily handsome.

He had large, expressive eyes, a fair complexion, and a tall, well-built figure. He was, without question, one of the most attractive men I had ever seen.

As I walked closer, Daijaan smiled warmly.

“Tasnim, this is Azmat,” she said. “Mr. Firoz’s daughter.”

Azmat looked at me politely and greeted me.

“Assalamu Alaikum.”

I simply nodded my head in response.

Without saying another word, I left for my boutique.

That evening, during dinner, Azmat was standing beside Daijaan as she supervised the servants serving food.

Father looked at him.

“So, you’ve completed your engineering?”

“Yes, sir,” Azmat replied with a respectful smile.

Khurram Bhai seemed genuinely pleased to hear that.

Akmal Bhai suddenly laughed.

“So, Azmat... do you still get beaten up? Remember how badly I used to hit you when we were kids?”

His words made me feel uncomfortable.

How could Akmal Bhai say something like that so casually?

Before anyone else could speak, Khurram Bhai calmly replied,

“A person’s strength isn’t measured by how many people they can beat. Real strength is measured by their education, their abilities, and what they have achieved in life.”

The dining hall fell silent.

Father didn’t say a word.

Akmal clearly didn’t like Khurram’s answer.

But for the first time that evening, I noticed a look of peace on Azmat’s face.

After a few moments, Father turned towards me.

“Tasnim, you’ve been worried because you haven’t found a capable computer operator for your boutique.”

I nodded.

“Then hire Azmat.”

“He can work as your computer operator.”

I immediately understood Father’s intention.

Perhaps Khurram’s words had irritated him. He didn’t want Azmat to receive a prestigious position somewhere else and become more successful than our family

expected him to be.

“Baba,” I said gently, “I need a computer operator, not an engineer. He’s far too qualified for such an ordinary job. He could easily get a managerial position somewhere.”

Father’s expression hardened.

“I’ve made my decision.”

“Azmat will work at your boutique.”

Without any hesitation, Azmat respectfully replied,

“Yes, sir. I’ll report to Madam’s office tomorrow.”

“Don’t worry.”

The moment I looked at Daijaan’s face, my heart sank.

She looked as though she were about to cry.

I felt an overwhelming wave of anger.

The next morning, just as I was leaving for the boutique, Father called out,

“Take Azmat with you.”

I looked at Azmat.

He stepped forward politely.

“Shall we go, Madam?”

I swallowed my frustration and replied,

“Let’s go.”

I was about to sit in the driver’s seat when Father stopped me.

“Tasnim.”

“You sit in the back.”

“Azmat will drive.”

I glanced at Akmal and Shakir.

Both of them were standing there, laughing.

Without saying a single word, Azmat quietly started the car and drove us toward the boutique

Chapter 3

A Terrifying Truth

I didn’t feel the need to ask what had happened because everything unfolded right before my eyes.

They grabbed Driver Uncle by the collar and threw him to the ground.

Chapter 4

The Truth That Changed Everything

In front of my mother, they beat Driver Uncle mercilessly.

When my mother tried to stop them, they pushed her with such force that she fell to the ground and lost consciousness instantly. My father never got the chance to learn the truth.

Then my father shot Driver Uncle.

Not once.

He fired six bullets into him.

Right in front of me, he buried Driver Uncle in our own garden.

After witnessing that horrifying scene, I lost consciousness.

When I opened my eyes, Khala Jaan was sitting beside me. She placed you in my lap and said,

“Your mother has left you forever.”

Just then, my father came in front of me.

The moment I saw him, I screamed in terror.

That is why, even today, I am afraid of my father.

And somewhere deep inside my heart, I still hate him.

I’m certain that it was my mother’s death that happened because of my father’s actions. He pushed her, and that mistake cost her life.

After listening to the entire story, I broke down in tears.

My brother comforted me and said,

“We were born into the house of a cruel man... and a murderer. So forget Azmat. It will be better for him and for his mother.”

Chapter 5

A Heart That Had Already Fallen

“I understood what could have happened next. For the first time, I realised that my heartbeat became faster whenever Azmat was around. His smile never left my mind throughout the day.”

I still hadn’t recovered from the shock of everything when six months passed.

One day, without any warning, Azmat walked into my boutique.

The moment I saw him, I couldn’t take my eyes off him.

He looked so handsome.

I found myself thinking,

The girl who marries him will be so fortunate.

I was completely lost in my thoughts while looking at him.

He came closer, held my hand, and said,

“Tasnim, where are you lost?”

Still holding my hand, he led me into the office.

I couldn’t stop looking at his face.

Then he shared some wonderful news with me, but instead of easing my worries, it made me even more anxious.

He told me that Haroon had come to Pakistan the previous month.

Haroon’s company had made remarkable progress.

Haroon owned many companies in America, and he managed them all by himself.

Because of that, Haroon had appointed Azmat as the CEO of this company.

Haroon was deeply impressed by Azmat’s honesty.

Azmat had been promoted.

He smiled and said,

“I’m no longer the manager of the company. I’ve become its CEO because Haroon has gone back to America.”

“My salary is now 2 million rupees a month, and I’ve also been given a bungalow and a car.”

Hearing this made me genuinely happy.

But at the same time, I became worried when he continued,

“This evening, I’ll come to your house and take my mother with me.”

I replied,

“Hmm... we’ll have to make some plans regarding that.”

But he smiled and said,

“There is no need for any more planning, Tasnim. You helped me so much that my entire life has changed.

It’s all because of you and Khurram Bhai.”

“Now I’ll simply come this evening and take my mother with me.”

Chapter 6

Tasnim’s Anxiety

After saying that, he left.

I was overwhelmed with tension.

I immediately called Khurram Bhai and told him everything.

After listening carefully, he said,

“Now the matter is no longer in our hands. Allah will make everything better. All we can do now is wait for the evening.”

When I returned home that evening, everyone was sitting together for evening tea.

They were waiting for Khurram Bhai and me.

A little later, Khurram Bhai arrived.

I quietly looked at him and signalled with my eyes, asking,

What should I do?

He understood immediately and said,

“You should start the conversation yourself. I’m with you.”

I gathered all my courage, steadied my heart, and then said loudly,

“Daijaan, please start packing your things.”

Father looked at me in surprise and asked,

“Why? Is everything alright? Mehroo, where are you going that you need to pack?”

I replied,

“Baba, Azmat is coming. He’s going to take his mother to live with him.”

Father looked at me and said,

“Why? Is he going to leave his mother on the road?”

Chapter 7

A New Beginning, A New Conflict

I replied,

“Why, Baba? Azmat is now the CEO of a multinational company. He has a bungalow and a car.”

Hearing this, Baba was completely shocked.

He asked,

“So, you took him there for your own work?”

I lowered my gaze and replied,

“Baba, I lied to you. The truth is that I took him there for a job interview.”

“He got the job.”

“He has been appointed as the CEO of a multinational company.”

Baba kept staring at me with anger while I stood there with my head lowered.

Shakir Bhai scolded me angrily and said,

“What have you done? You have placed our servant above our heads.”

Khurram Bhai remained silent.

When Akmal Bhai raised his hand to hit me, Khurram Bhai immediately grabbed his

wrist, pushed him back, and said,

“If anyone raises a hand against my sister, I will not spare them.”

Khurram Bhai then shouted angrily,

“Baba has remained silent until now.”

I looked at Baba and said,

“Baba, he is a capable man. The position he has achieved is the result of his hard work.”

“Please forgive me for lying to you.”

“And please let Daijaan go.”

Then I turned towards Akmal Bhai and Shakir Bhai and said,

“Bhai, before Daijaan started working in our house, she was the wife of a respected officer.”

“Baba, success is everyone’s right.”

Finally, Baba broke his silence and said,

“Fine. Let her go.”

“But remember, Tasnim, this matter must not go any further.”

I respectfully replied,

“Yes, Baba.”

Just then, Azmat arrived.

A large car entered our haveli and came to a stop.

Azmat stepped out of the car.

The moment he walked inside, his personality and confidence were so striking that Akmal Bhai and Shakir Bhai immediately stood up in anger.

It seemed as though they were about to attack him.

But Baba stopped them and said,

“Take your mother and leave.”

“And never stand before me again for the rest of your life.”

At that moment, I noticed that somehow Azmat had found incredible courage.

He did not say a single word.

He simply took his mother and left.

After that day, Baba stopped speaking to me.

However, both of my brothers believed that they had been defeated by someone they once considered their servant.

They could not tolerate it.

Can people really become so consumed by pride and madness that they are willing to harm even their own family?

After all, they had been raised under the shadow of the same cruel father.

A few months later, I received a call on the office phone.

The call was from Azmat.

He said,

“Tasnim, Amma wants to meet you.”

I refused.

I told Azmat,

“Please don’t call me anymore.”

Chapter 8: A Love That Could Cost a Life

Azmat looked at me with concern and asked, “What happened? Did you have to face

trouble because of me?”Holding back my tears, I replied, “Azmat, I can no longer meet you or Daijaan. If I do, your life will be in danger. I could never forgive myself if anything happened to you. Please don’t force me to meet you.”

Azmat remained silent for a moment before asking softly, “Tasnim… do you love me?”

The moment I heard those words, my eyes filled with tears. I looked at him and asked, “Why would you ask me something like that?”

He smiled faintly and said, “Because everything you have done for me proves it. You risked your own life for someone who was nothing to you. Now you’re willing to stay away from me just to protect me. That tells me everything I need to know.”

He took a deep breath before continuing.

“But today, I want to tell you something. I love you, Tasnim… and I want to hear your answer.”

I couldn’t say a single word. My silence spoke louder than any confession.

Azmat smiled gently.

“Your silence has already answered my question. I know you love me too. But I’m not asking you to meet me for our relationship. I’m asking you to meet me for your own sake. Daijaan is deeply worried about you. She wants to tell you something important. Please… meet us.”

After thinking for a few moments, I finally replied, “Alright... I’ll try.”

Chapter 9: Khurram’s Secret Plan

After ending the call, I went to Khurram Bhai and told him everything.

He listened quietly before saying, “Tasnim, if you meet them, your problems may become even bigger.”

I looked at him in confusion.

“But Bhai, what could Daijaan possibly want to tell me?”

He sighed.

“How would I know? Maybe she knows something that even I don’t.”

After a moment of silence, Khurram Bhai suddenly said, “We’ll go to Lahore together and meet Daijaan.”

I stared at him in shock.

“How is that even possible?”

He smiled confidently.

“Tell all your friends that if Baba or any of our brothers call them, they should say we’re all attending a friend’s wedding in Karachi.”

His plan sounded risky, but it was the only chance we had.

Chapter 10: The Journey to Lahore

Later that evening, Khurram Bhai explained the rest of his plan.

“You’ll show Baba a wedding invitation and tell him your friend is getting married. I know he won’t allow you to go alone, so I’ll insist on accompanying you.”

Everything happened exactly as Khurram Bhai had predicted.

Baba believed the story without suspecting anything.

That same evening, we boarded a flight to Lahore.

Our real destination wasn’t a wedding.

It was Daijaan’s house.

Meanwhile, Azmat had already made all the arrangements for our arrival.

Chapter 11: The Mansion of Dreams

When we reached Lahore, Azmat himself came to receive us at the main gate.

The moment I saw him, my heart began racing.

Unable to meet his eyes, I lowered my gaze in embarrassment.

I could feel him looking at me with longing, as though he had been waiting for this moment forever.

Perhaps Khurram Bhai noticed the way we looked at each other.

Without saying a word, he seemed to realise that we had both fallen deeply in love.

Azmat’s home was breathtaking.

It looked less like a house and more like a magnificent palace.

After welcoming us warmly, he led us inside.

“We should meet Daijaan first,” he said.

We silently followed him.

Chapter 12: Daijaan’s Tears

Azmat opened the bedroom door and gently led us inside.

The moment Daijaan saw us standing before her, tears streamed down her face.

She hurried towards us without saying a word and pulled both of us into a tight embrace.

Her tears spoke of pain, relief, and emotions that words could never fully express.

At that moment, none of us realised that this meeting was about to change our lives forever.

Daijaan held us tightly in her arms and wept uncontrollably. Khurram Bhai and I gently comforted her and helped her sit down.

I looked at her with concern and asked, “Daijaan, what happened? Why did you call us here?”

She wiped away her tears before speaking in a trembling voice.

“For the past few days, I have been seeing your mother in my dreams. Every night she comes to me and asks, ‘Why did you leave my children with that cruel man? He will kill my daughter too.’”

Her words sent chills through my body.

Khurram Bhai looked at Daijaan and said quietly, “When I was a child, I witnessed something that I was never supposed to see. I saw Baba bury our driver alive.”

Daijaan took a deep breath before replying,

“My son... what you saw was not the whole truth.”

She paused, tears rolling down her cheeks.

“Your mother was a righteous and faithful woman. Your father’s brothers poisoned his mind against her. They filled his heart with lies until he believed she had betrayed him.”

She lowered her head in sorrow.

“Yes, that cruel man murdered the innocent driver...”

She looked into our eyes before uttering the words that shattered our world.

“But he murdered your mother as well.”

Chapter 13: The Truth Buried Beneath the Earth

Daijaan continued her heartbreaking story.

“At that time, I had gone to my village because Azmat was seriously ill. A few days later, I returned to Mirpur, but my train was delayed by five hours.”

“When I finally reached the haveli, I saw your father beating the driver mercilessly while little Khurram stood nearby, crying helplessly.”

“I hid myself and watched everything in silence.”

“I saw your father shoot the driver and bury his body inside the garden.”

She paused, struggling to control her emotions.

“After Khurram lost consciousness, your father dragged your mother into the house

by her arm. She kept screaming for help, but no one came to save her.”

“I moved closer and saw your uncles calling a doctor.”

“When the doctor arrived, your mother was already dead.”

Daijaan’s voice broke.

“Your father buried her body in the garden of the haveli, beside the driver.”

“After that, he told everyone that she had died after giving birth to you.”

The room fell into complete silence.

The truth we had believed all our lives had been nothing but a cruel lie.

Chapter 14: A World Shattered

As soon as Daijaan finished speaking, I felt as though the world around me had stopped.

I couldn’t move.

I couldn’t breathe.

My eyes remained wide open, but my body had become completely numb.

Khurram Bhai let out a heartbreaking scream and burst into tears.

When he turned towards me, he saw me sitting motionless, like a lifeless statu

“Tasnim!”

He shook me again and again, trying to bring me back to reality.

But I couldn’t respond.

The pain was too great.Suddenly, I let out a piercing scream...

...and everything around me went dark.

I collapsed unconscious.

Chapter 15: A Night of Endless Grief

Khurram Bhai quickly caught me before I hit the floor.

Together with Azmat, he laid me gently beside Daijaan.

The entire night, Khurram Bhai and Azmat remained by our side.

Neither of them slept.

They watched over us in silence, praying that morning would bring us the strength to face the unbearable truth.

Chapter 16: A Daughter’s Heartbreak

When I regained consciousness the next morning, the memories returned instantly.

The truth echoed inside my mind.

My mother had not died naturally.

She had been murdered.

I broke down in tears.

Daijaan pulled me into her arms and held me close, trying to comfort me as I cried endlessly.

After a long silence, I looked at Khurram Bhai with tear-filled eyes and whispered,

“Bhai... before killing even a tiny ant, people think twice.”

“My father didn’t even think once before taking our mother’s life.”

Khurram Bhai lowered his head, unable to answer.

The unbearable truth had destroyed whatever remained of our family.

And from that day forward, we knew we were no longer living under the roof of a father...

...but under the shadow of a merciless killer

Chapter 17: A House That No Longer Felt Like Home

After everything Daijaan had revealed, Khurram Bhai brought me back home.

From that day onward, Baba stopped speaking to me.

I, too, could no longer bring myself to speak to him.

After learning the truth about my mother’s death, living under the same roof as him became more painful with each passing day. Every moment in that house felt suffocating.

One day, I gathered my courage and stood before Baba.

“I’m leaving for America,” I said firmly.

Before Baba could respond, Shakir Bhai spoke.

“You can’t go anywhere. We have already arranged your marriage with the son of the Chaudhry from our village.”

His words ignited a fire inside me.

I stood up immediately and looked at him angrily.

“Who gave you the right to make decisions about my life?”

Before anyone else could answer, Baba said coldly,

“I did.”

I looked straight into his eyes.

For the first time, I didn’t see my father standing before me.

I saw the man who had taken my mother’s life.

The image of my mother’s killer stood before me instead.

With all the strength I had left, I said,

“I will never marry him.”

“I’m leaving for Canada forever.”

Akmal Bhai looked at me in confusion.

“But Khala lives in America. Why are you going to Canada?”

I replied without hesitation,

“That’s my decision. Why are you questioning me like I’m some criminal under investigation?”

“I’m leaving for Canada tomorrow.”

Baba’s face darkened with anger.

“I will decide when you get married. You’re not going anywhere.”

He turned around and walked away without listening to another word.

“Baba... Baba!”

I called after him again and again, but he never looked back.

As I stood there helplessly, Khurram Bhai quietly caught my eye and gave me a reassuring signal.

Don’t worry... I’m with you.

Those silent words gave me the strength to keep standing.

Chapter 18: A Prison Without Walls

The very next morning, my freedom was taken away.

I was no longer allowed to leave the house.

It felt as though I had become a prisoner inside my own home.

Khurram Bhai left for work, and I remained trapped inside the house with nothing but fear and painful memories.

Unable to bear the loneliness any longer, I picked up my phone and called Azmat.

As soon as he answered, I asked him softly,

“Azmat... have you ever been in love with someone?”

A smile appeared in his voice.

“Yes.”

“I love someone... and I love her more than my own life.”

Curious, I asked,

“Who is she? Did she study with you?”

He chuckled gently.

“No.”

“She was my teacher.”

I frowned in surprise.

“Your teacher?”

“Yes,” he replied.

“She taught me how to live life.”

His words made my heart beat faster.

Trying to hide my emotions, I asked,

“Did you ever tell her how you feel?”

There was a long silence before he answered.“No.”

“I’m afraid.”

“Afraid that if I confess my feelings... she might become angry with me.”

He took a deep breath before continuing.

“I can endure any pain in this world...”

“But I could never bear to lose her.”

Chapter 19: A Confession of Love

Love Finally Finds Its Voice

“You’re not upset, are you?” I asked softly.

Azmat smiled. “Upset? No. I love her so much.”

I looked at him curiously. “Azmat, can I ask you something?”

“Of course.”

“Why did you ask me a question like that today?”

I smiled faintly. “No reason. We’ve spent so much time together, yet you’ve never told me what was in your heart. Besides... Baba wants to arrange my marriage, and I want to leave for Canada. I think you should tell her how you truly feel. If she really knows and understands you, she won’t be angry.”

Azmat took a deep breath before looking straight into my eyes.

“I love you.”

I laughed nervously.

I laughed nervously.

“Are you just practising?”

He shook his head.

“Tasnim, I’m serious. I love you. You told me she wouldn’t be angry, so... please don’t be angry with me.”

He paused for a moment before continuing.

“I’ve loved you since the very first day I saw you. But back then, I convinced myself that I was never worthy of you. I didn’t have the courage, and I didn’t have the status to ask for your hand. Things have changed now. Today, I have both the courage and the position to stand before you.”

Tears filled my eyes as I looked at him.

“Will you marry me?”

A warm smile spread across his face.

“Without a doubt.”

“When will you come to take me?”

He chuckled.

“I won’t have to come. You’ll come to me yourself.”

I smiled shyly.

“I’ll hang up now.”

After ending the call, I walked straight to Khurram Bhai’s room.

“Bhai... I want to get married.”

He looked at me in surprise.

“Have you lost your mind? They’re Jatts. They’re uneducated people. Our families don’t match. They’re just like Baba.”

“I know all that,” I replied calmly. “But I want to marry Azmat.”

Khurram Bhai stared at me for a few moments before saying firmly,

“No matter what happens from now on, your marriage will be with Azmat.”

Without wasting another second, he held my hand and started leading me towards Azmat.

Before we could leave, Akmal Bhai and Shakir Bhai blocked our way.

“Go upstairs to your room,” Shakir ordered.

He grabbed my arm, but I immediately pulled it away.

“Don’t touch me!”

Khurram Bhai stepped forward.

“I’m her brother too. I’m taking my sister to marry Azmat. Anyone who wants to stop me can try.”

Shakir Bhai’s face turned red with anger.

“Have you lost your senses? You want to marry her to a maid’s son?”

Khurram Bhai glared at him.

“Yes, he is the son of a maid, but he is not your servant. He is a respected man. He’s the CEO of a multinational company. Do you understand that?”

Shakir Bhai shouted back,

“No! I don’t understand anything. She’s not going anywhere.”

Just then, Baba entered the room.

“Akmal, take this girl upstairs to her room. I’ll deal with Khurram.”

Khurram Bhai looked directly at Baba.

“I don’t want to talk to you.”

Then he turned towards Akmal Bhai and Shakir Bhai.

“Baba has already turned both of you into cruel men just like himself.”

Chapter 20: The Truth Buried for Years

The Secret Behind Mother’s Death

Khurram Bhai looked at everyone with tears in his eyes.

“To all of you, relationships have no value. For the sake of your false honour, you are even capable of killing your own family.”

Shakir Bhai frowned.

“What are you trying to say?”

Baba’s face darkened with anger.

“Khurram, be quiet.”

Khurram Bhai stood his ground.

“No, Baba. Not today.”

He looked at all of us before continuing.

“Have any of you ever missed Mama?”

Akmal Bhai answered immediately.

“Of course I have. I miss her every single day.”

Khurram Bhai nodded sadly.

“Then have you ever tried to find out how she really died?”

The room fell silent.

Khurram Bhai’s voice trembled with emotion.

“Baba killed her. He murdered our mother in the name of honour.”

Baba shouted furiously.

“Khurram! Enough!”

But for the first time in his life, Khurram Bhai refused to stay silent.

“No, Baba! Not anymore! Today I will tell everyone the truth.”

He looked directly at Baba.

“You murdered our innocent mother.”

Shakir Bhai stood frozen in disbelief.

He couldn’t believe what he had just heard.

Akmal Bhai broke down in tears before turning towards Baba.

“Is... is this true?”

Baba answered without any sign of regret.

“Yes.”

“I killed your mother in the name of honour.”

“I believed she was having an affair with the driver.”

Khurram Bhai’s eyes filled with anger.

“Stop right there, Baba!”

“I was with Mama that day. I remember everything clearly.”

“Mama was seriously ill after Tasnim’s birth. She needed immediate medical treatment, so she called Driver Uncle to help because you were out of the city.”

“And just because of that, you killed her.”

“After Tasnim was born, Mama desperately needed treatment.”

“You watched her suffer in unbearable pain.”

“You stood there and watched with your own eyes as she slowly took her last breaths.”

His voice cracked as tears streamed down his face.

“And even then, you buried her while she was still barely alive.”

“This is your honour.”

I could no longer control myself.

I screamed and cried uncontrollably.

Khurram Bhai held me tightly, trying to calm me down.

Akmal Bhai collapsed onto the floor, crying bitterly.

He looked at Baba with shattered eyes.

“You took our mother’s love away from us...”

“...simply because of your suspicion.”

“You stole our mother from us without any proof.”Buriedfor years.

The room echoed with silence, grief, and the weight of a truth that had remained

Chapter 21: A New Beginning

Love, Loss, and a Promise for the Future

Shakir Bhai looked at Baba and said firmly,

“What Baba did was absolutely right. Nothing is more important than our family’s honour. If Baba ordered me to kill Tasnim right now, I would do it without hesitation.”

Before anyone else could react, Akmal Bhai stepped in front of me.

“If anyone dares to lay a hand on my sister, they’ll have to face me first.”

Khurram Bhai looked at everyone and said,

“The three of us—my sister, Akmal, and I—are leaving this world of cruelty. You two can stay here alone.”

Without another word, Khurram Bhai and Akmal Bhai took me out of the house.

They drove me to Lahore, where they arranged my marriage to Azmat that very same day.

After the wedding, my brothers returned to Karachi, while Azmat and I began a new chapter of our lives together.

Finding a Mother’s Love Again

The first time I called Daijaan “Amma,” she smiled warmly, kissed my forehead, and said,

“My daughter, today I am truly happy.”

I hugged her tightly.Everything had happened so suddenly that my heart could barely keep up with the changes in my life.

When I looked up, I found Azmat smiling at me with eyes full of love.

That morning, he had been getting ready for work, but Khurram Bhai and Akmal Bhai had unexpectedly arrived at his house with me, so he never made it to the office.

As night fell, Amma smiled and said,

“Azmat, take Tasnim to your room. You both should get some rest.”

Azmat took a deep breath before turning towards me.

“Shall we?”

I nodded and followed him.

When we entered the room, my heart was beating so fast that I could hear it.

Feeling shy, I walked towards the window.

The view of Lahore at night was breathtaking.

Azmat came and stood beside me.

“The view is beautiful, isn’t it?”

“Yes,” I replied softly.

He smiled.

“I’m not talking about the view outside the window.”

I looked at him in surprise.

“I’m talking about my room. It has become beautiful because you are here.”

I lowered my eyes with a shy smile.

“I never imagined that when I got ready this morning, I wasn’t preparing for work—I was preparing for my wedding.”

He gently held my hand and drew me closer.

In that quiet moment, they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, expressing the love and trust they had carried in their hearts for so long.

That night became the most beautiful and unforgettable night of my life, marking the beginning of our journey together as husband and wife.

A Tragic Phone Call

The next morning, Azmat smiled at me and said,

“Thank you for making my life so beautiful.”

Before I could answer, my phone rang.

The call brought terrible news.

“Akmal Bhai is in the hospital.”

Panic overwhelmed me.

Azmat immediately took me back to Islamabad.

When we arrived, I learned what had happened.

Akmal Bhai had gone to Baba to tell him that they had married me to Azmat.

Upon Baba’s orders, Shakir Bhai opened fire on Akmal Bhai.

He shot him ten times.

Akmal Bhai died at the scene.

I collapsed in tears.

“My own brother has killed my other brother because of me.”

Overcome with grief and anger, I cried,

“I’m going to ask Baba why he brought his children into this world if this was our fate.”

I rushed towards the door, but Khurram Bhai and Azmat stopped me.

Khurram Bhai said,

“They’re blinded by bloodshed and hatred. They won’t understand anything right now.”

He then added,

“Shakir has already been arrested by the police.”

“And this time, I won’t let Baba escape.”

Justice After Twenty-Two Years

After Akmal Bhai’s funeral, Khurram Bhai and Azmat went to the police station.

Khurram Bhai filed a complaint against Baba.

“My father, along with my two uncles, murdered my mother.”

The police officer asked,

“When did this happen?”

“Twenty-two years ago.”

The officer looked at him in surprise.

“Do you have any witnesses?”

“Yes,” Khurram Bhai replied.

“I am the eyewitness.”

“How old were you at the time?”

“I was eight years old.”

The officer sighed.

“You were only a child. Do you have any physical evidence?”

I stepped forward.

“Yes.”

“My mother is still buried in the lawn of our bungalow.”

“And the driver’s body should also be there.”

The police immediately searched the property.

After digging in the lawn, they discovered my mother’s skeletal remains.

Baba was arrested immediately.

As the police escorted him away, Baba looked at Khurram Bhai and said coldly,

“I made a mistake.”

“I should have buried you alongside your mother.”

Tears filled Khurram Bhai’s eyes.

“You took our mother away from us.”

“And today, we’ve lost our father as well.”

“If you had not been so cruel, Mama would still be alive.”

“My brother would never have died.”

“And neither you nor Shakir would have ended up in prison.”

Baba remained emotionless.

“For the sake of honour, a man has to become cruel.”

“And my cruelty is far from over.”

Happiness Returns

After Baba’s arrest, Khurram Bhai left that house forever.

The home that had once echoed with the laughter of four siblings was now silent and empty.

Khurram Bhai buried himself in his work at the hospital.

Meanwhile, I began living happily with Azmat.

Soon, another joyful surprise entered our lives.

I was expecting our first child.

Azmat was happier than I had ever seen him.

He took wonderful care of me every single day.

Every morning, he woke up early to prepare fresh juice for me.

Before leaving for the office, he helped Amma prepare breakfast and lovingly fed me with his own hands.

To me, Azmat was a beautiful dream that had finally come true.

Thanks to Khurram Bhai, I had married the man I loved, and I felt like the luckiest woman in the world.

As soon as Khurram Bhai learned that I was pregnant, he travelled from Islamabad to

Lahore.

Before coming, he bought countless gifts for me and the baby.

He stayed with us for a few days before returning home.

One day, I had an appointment with my doctor.

I reminded Azmat about it.

He apologised gently.

“You should go to the doctor today. I have a very important meeting that I cannot miss.”

I smiled and assured him that everything would be fine, never imagining that this ordinary day was about to change our lives forever.

Chapter 22: The Price of Revenge

A Love Taken Away Forever

Azmat looked at me with concern before leaving for work.

“Please go to the doctor by yourself today. Amma isn’t feeling well. Otherwise, I would have asked her to go with you.”

I smiled reassuringly.

“It’s alright. I’ll go on my own. Just tell the driver.”

“Okay,” he replied. “If my meeting finishes early, I’ll come and pick you up myself.”

“Alright.”

After saying goodbye, Azmat left for his meeting.

About three hours later, I left for my doctor’s appointment.

Meanwhile, Azmat finished his meeting earlier than expected and returned home to pick me up.

As soon as he arrived, Amma told him that I had already left for the hospital.

He immediately turned to leave and come after me.

But the moment he stepped outside, Baba and Shakir Bhai were standing at the gate.

Realising the danger, Azmat rushed back inside and locked Amma safely in her room.

However, Baba had arrived with nearly twenty men.

They forced their way into the house.

They beat Azmat mercilessly.

When Amma tried to protect her son, they attacked her as well.

Baba demanded,

“Tell us where Tasnim is.”

Even in that terrible moment, Azmat lied to save my life.

“She left me and went to stay with her brother.”

Despite his answer, they continued attacking him.

Finally, they dragged him outside into the garden of our bungalow.

They tied Amma up, covered her mouth, and forced her to watch.

The horrifying scene reminded her of the day my own mother had been murdered.

They shot Azmat several times.

Then, believing he was dead, they buried him in the garden before leaving.

Amma remained tied up, helpless and unable to save her son.

The Day My World Ended

When I returned home, I found Amma tied up and badly injured.

I screamed in horror.

I untied her immediately and removed the cloth covering her mouth.

She had lost consciousness.

I sprinkled water on her face until she opened her eyes.

The moment she regained consciousness, she cried out,

“Tasnim... dig there... they’ve buried Azmat.”

For a moment, I couldn’t understand what she was saying.

Amma began digging at the soil with her bare hands.

I called the driver for help.

Together, we desperately removed the soil and pulled Azmat out.

He was covered in blood.

We rushed him to the hospital.

The doctors fought to save his life.

They did everything they possibly could.

But it was too late.

My beloved Azmat was gone.

Our child had lost a father before even being born.

Amma and I cried uncontrollably.

“Azmat... please wake up...”

But he had already left this world forever.

At that moment, I made a promise.

I would never forgive the people who had destroyed my happy life.

The Search for Justice

I called Khurram Bhai through my tears.

“Bhai... they’ve destroyed my world.”

“They killed my Azmat.”

Khurram Bhai immediately came to Islamabad.

After Azmat’s funeral, he informed the Islamabad police about everything Baba had done.

Soon afterwards, Haroon Bhai also arrived.

Since Azmat had been managing the company, Haroon Bhai had no choice but to take responsibility.

But before thinking about business, he wanted only one thing—

Justice for Azmat.

Together, Haroon Bhai and Khurram Bhai pressured the police to arrest the killers as quickly as possible.

The police recovered CCTV footage from the bungalow.

Azmat had intentionally gone towards that part of the property because security cameras had been installed there to cover the entire house.

When we watched the footage, we saw everything.

We saw Baba and his men brutally attacking Azmat.

We saw them bury him after believing they had killed him.

I cried until I lost consciousness.

Amma became completely silent, unable to speak after witnessing such horror.

Standing beside Azmat’s grave, I made another promise.

“I forgave the murder of my mother.”

“I forgave the murder of my brother.”

“But I will never forgive the murder of the man I loved.”

“I will avenge my love.”

The Beginning of the End

I collected every piece of CCTV evidence.

Using that evidence, I filed legal complaints with both the Lahore and Islamabad police.

Khurram Bhai stood beside me throughout the investigation.

Amma, who had witnessed the entire attack with her own eyes, gave her statement as well.

Shakir Bhai was already facing criminal charges.

This time, the police arrested him along with all of his accomplices.

Haroon Bhai continued supporting the investigation.Although the company was struggling after Azmat’s death, Haroon Bhai believed that bringing the killers to justice was more important than anything else.

He looked at me sadly and said,

“Azmat was an extraordinary man.”

“It is heartbreaking how hatred can destroy innocent lives and steal the happiness of an entire family.”

A Brother Lost to Hatred

After Shakir Bhai’s arrest, Khurram Bhai went to visit him in prison.

Looking at him with disappointment, he said,

“You’ve become exactly like Baba.”

“You destroyed your own sister’s home.”

“You made her unborn child grow up without a father.”

Shakir Bhai answered coldly,

“I can do anything to protect my father’s honour.”

“If Tasnim’s baby had been born, I would have buried the child beside Azmat.”

Khurram Bhai could no longer control his anger.

He grabbed Shakir Bhai by the collar.

“What honour are you talking about?”

“That so-called honour has already taken the lives of innocent people.”

“People with your way of thinking should be the ones answering for these crimes—not innocent families.”

After leaving the prison, Khurram Bhai instructed his lawyer,

“Make sure the strongest possible charges are filed against him.”

“I don’t want him to walk free ever again.”

My Final Warning

Later, I arranged to speak to Shakir Bhai over the phone while he was in police custody.

When he answered the call, I spoke without fear.

“Did you really think I would forgive you for killing my Azmat?”

“You’ve lost yourself in blind hatred.”

“You no longer understand the difference between honour and cruelty.”

“And I promise you this...”

“I will fight until every person responsible for destroying my family is brought to justice.”

Chapter 23: The Price of Revenge (Part 1)

The man sneered and said, “If a dog goes mad, it should be shot. You’ve gone mad too. You killed so many people in the name of honour. Now it’s your turn to face the bullets.”

At that moment, I heard the police shouting, “Run, Shakir! Save yourself!”

Shakir ran desperately, trying to escape with his life. I was still on the phone, listening to every sound. My heart pounded violently as I whispered to myself,

“Father... you’ve turned me into a murderer just like you.”

Then I heard six gunshots.

Each one tore through my heart.

The police fired six bullets into Shakir’s back, and within seconds, my own brother collapsed to the ground.

He was dead.

I stood there in complete silence before making my way back home.

When I reached the house, my father looked at me with his usual cold expression.

I looked straight into his eyes and said,

“I had your son killed.”

Furious, my father immediately pulled out his gun and aimed it at me.

But I had already removed every bullet from it.

A short while earlier, I had secretly mixed blood pressure medication into his food. His blood sugar was already dangerously high, and the medicine caused his condition to worsen rapidly.

Within moments, he suffered a paralytic stroke and collapsed helplessly.

I looked at him with a bitter smile.

“You killed my mother.”

“You killed my brother.”

“You killed my Azmat.”

“Perhaps... this is what justice looks like.”

“You can stay here now... just like this.”

“This is my revenge.”

When I returned home, I told my mother-in-law everything.

She listened quietly before placing her hand gently on my head.

“My daughter,” she said softly, “you kept your promise to your love.”

A little later, Khurram Bhai and Haroon arrived.

Looking at Khurram Bhai through tear-filled eyes, I said,

“Please take me to the police station. I want to confess everything.”

“I had Shakir Bhai killed.”

“This crime is mine.”

Unable to control myself, I burst into tears.

“Father turned me into a criminal.”

“I had my own brother killed...”

“And I left my father paralysed.”

Khurram Bhai’s eyes filled with tears.

“No,” he said firmly. “I can’t lose you too.”

He hugged me as we both cried.

Haroon remained silent for a moment before speaking.

“What you did wasn’t right...”

“But those people were cruel.”

“They destroyed countless innocent lives without feeling any remorse.”

“A man who can kill his own children has already lost his humanity.”

“What happened may feel like justice...”

“But according to the law, it is still a crime.”

After a brief silence, Haroon turned towards Khurram Bhai.

“Khurram... I want to marry Tasnim.”

“I want to take her away from all this forever.”

Khurram looked at both of us before quietly nodding.

“I have no objection.”

I immediately shook my head.

“No.”

“I don’t want to get married.”

“I’m a criminal.”

“My child has already become an orphan.”

Haroon gently held my arms and looked into my eyes.

“No, Tasnim.”

“You’re not a criminal.”

“The people who suffered deserved compassion.”

“The people who committed those crimes deserved punishment.”

“I don’t pity you...”

“I love you.”

“I wanted to tell you many times.”

“But you were always waiting for the man you loved.”

He smiled sadly before continuing,

“Please... don’t deprive my life of your love any longer.”

Chapter 23: The Price of Revenge (Part 2)

My mother-in-law gently placed her hand on my head and spoke with tears in her eyes.

“My daughter... it’s time to free yourself from Azmat’s memories. Open your heart and allow Haroon to become a part of your life.”

Unable to hold back my emotions, I threw my arms around her and cried.

“I can’t leave you, Amma. You’re my last connection to Azmat. Taking care of you is my responsibility.”

Haroon smiled warmly.

“Then don’t leave her.”

He looked at his mother before continuing,

“I need a mother too. We’ll take Amma with us. You know, after my own mother passed away, my father loved me with all his heart, but no matter how hard he tried, he could never fill the emptiness she left behind.”

My mother-in-law lovingly placed her hand on Haroon’s head, her eyes overflowing with affection.

Not long afterwards, Haroon and I were married.

Although we were husband and wife, we lived like strangers.

Haroon never forced me to accept him. Instead, he respected my silence and patiently waited for my heart to

heal.

As soon as we were married, Haroon appointed a new Chief Executive Officer for his company. He handled everything quickly because he wanted to take me away from Pakistan as soon as possible.

He wanted to remove me from the painful memories that surrounded me, hoping that one day I would find peace... and perhaps grow closer to him.

Within a month, Haroon took both Amma and me to America, where we started a new life together.

Throughout my pregnancy, Haroon took exceptional care of me.

He also cared for Amma exactly as a devoted son would.

Months later, the day of my delivery finally arrived.

I gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

Haroon held our son in his arms and smiled.

“His name will be Azmat.”

I looked at him in surprise.

Haroon gently kissed our baby’s forehead before saying,

“We’ll give this Azmat every happiness that Amma’s Azmat never had.”

“He will grow up surrounded by a father’s love.”

True to his promise, Haroon showered our son with endless affection.

Slowly, he also found a place in my heart that no one else had ever reached.

No one could ever replace my first love, Azmat.

That place would always belong to him.

But Haroon showed me something I had almost forgotten existed.

Kindness.

Patience.

Unconditional love.

Looking at him made me realise that this world is still filled with good people.

And before I even realised it...

I had fallen in love with Haroon too.

Some time later, Khurram Bhai came to visit us in America with his wife.

Smiling, he said,

“I got married through a court marriage.”

Then his expression grew serious.

“Father has passed away.”

“There was no one left to look after him.”

“Most of the servants had already left. He had plenty of money, but money couldn’t bring cash from the bank or take care of him.”

“A neighbour called me because he wanted to buy Father’s bungalow. He said Father’s phone had been switched off for weeks.”

“When I reached the house...”

Khurram paused, struggling to continue.

“The entire bungalow was deserted and covered in dust.”

“When I entered Father’s room...”

“I was horrified.”

“His body was lying there...”

“It had been there for almost a month.”

“The police carried out a post-mortem and confirmed that he had died of natural causes.”

“He died completely alone.”

“Not a single person was by his side.”

Khurram lowered his head.

“People say money is everything.”

“But they forget that relationships are worth far more.”

“You can earn wealth again...”

“But once you lose your loved ones...”

“They can never be replaced.”

I remained silent.

A strange pain settled inside my heart.

Despite everything Father had done...

He had once loved me too.

And in the end...

He died alone, abandoned by the very world he had spent his life trying to control.

Chapter 23: The Price of Revenge (Part 3)

After Khurram Bhai finished speaking, silence filled the room.

I couldn’t say a single word.

Haroon quietly came and sat beside me.

Looking into my eyes, he gently asked,

“What are you thinking about?”

I lowered my head and replied softly,

“Haroon... despite everything, Father loved me very much.”

“I don’t think I treated him fairly.”

Haroon gently took my hand in his and said,

“No, Tasnim.”

“This is the law of consequences. In this world, every person eventually faces the results of their own actions.”

“He chose the path he walked.”

“What happened to him was the outcome of the life he lived.”

As he finished speaking, he wrapped his arms around me, offering me the comfort I

desperately needed.

The following day, Khurram Bhai called us.

“Send Amma and little Azmat to Pakistan for a few days.”

I was surprised.

“Why?”

The truth was that Amma had spoken to Khurram Bhai. She had told him that even after our marriage, Haroon and I still hadn’t truly become husband and wife.

Although we respected each other deeply, there was still an invisible distance between us.

So Khurram Bhai came up with a plan.

He invited us to Pakistan so Haroon and I could spend some time alone and finally allow our relationship to grow naturally.

By then, little Azmat was three years old and happily stayed with Amma whenever she looked after him.

After dropping Amma and Azmat at the airport, Haroon and I began driving back home.

Halfway through the journey, one of the tyres suddenly burst.

Haroon managed to keep the car under control because he had been driving slowly.

Once the car stopped safely, he stepped outside to replace the damaged tyre.

Just then, heavy rain began to pour.

Within minutes, we were both completely soaked.

After changing the tyre, we hurried back into the car and drove home.

The weather was freezing.

As soon as we arrived, I went upstairs and took out fresh clothes for both of us.

After taking a shower, I smiled and said,

“Go and change your clothes before you catch a cold.”

“I’ll make some coffee.”

As I turned to leave, Haroon gently caught my hand.

“There is something far more comforting than coffee.”

I looked at him in confusion.

“I don’t understand.”

Haroon smiled mischievously.

“Khurram and Amma planned all of this.”

“What?”

I asked, my cheeks instantly turning red.

He laughed softly.

“They wanted to bring us closer.”

Embarrassed, I lowered my eyes and smiled shyly.

Haroon stepped closer.

“Please don’t ruin their plan.”

He gently lifted my chin and placed a tender kiss on my lips.

“Tasnim...”

“I love you.”

He kissed me once more before whispering,

“I’ve devoted my entire life to you.”

Then he pulled me into his embrace and gently laid me down on the bed.

Looking into my eyes, he smiled warmly.

“Tonight is the most beautiful night of my life.”

That night, we finally accepted each other as husband and wife.

For the first time, I opened my heart to him completely, and he filled every corner of it with love, tenderness, and respect.

The warmth of his embrace reached not only my body but also my wounded soul.

It felt as though cool rain had fallen upon a desert that had suffered beneath the burning sun for years.

For the first time in a very long time...

I felt truly at peace.

Chapter 23: The Price of Revenge (Final Part)

The next morning, I woke up early and made a cup of coffee for Haroon.

When I returned to our room, he smiled as soon as he saw me.

Instead of taking the coffee, he gently pulled me into his arms once again.

“I don’t want coffee right now,” he whispered with a smile. “Having you close to me is enough.”

He held me lovingly, making me feel cherished in a way I had never experienced before.

Haroon gave me the peace my heart had longed for—a peace that healed the wounds I had carried for years.

A few days later, we travelled to Abu Dhabi together.

It was one of the happiest times of our lives. We explored beautiful places, laughed together, and created memories that would stay with us forever.

Years passed.

Today, I am the mother of three wonderful children.

Haroon and I have a son and a daughter together, and we have always considered Azmat to be our eldest

child.

Haroon has never made any distinction between them.

He often says with pride,

“All three of them are our children.”

To prove it, he divided all of his property equally among our three children, ensuring that each of them would always be treated the same.

Khurram Bhai also transferred a significant portion of the family property from Pakistan to me.

However, Haroon and I remain the legal guardians of our children until they are old enough to manage everything themselves.

Now Haroon often jokes with me,

“Maybe it’s time we planned for another little one.”

I always laugh and reply,

“Three children are more than enough for us.”

Whenever I look back on my life, I ask myself one question.

What did I truly gain... and what did I lose?

Those painful memories still haunt me.

Sometimes they return so vividly that they leave me trembling.

Perhaps that is why I love my family with everything I have.

I never want my children to experience the darkness that once surrounded my own life.

Azmat’s mother is happy with us.

Haroon fulfilled every responsibility as a loving son and filled the emptiness she carried after losing Azmat.

Today, her entire world revolves around our three children.

Our home is peaceful.

We are raising our children with love, kindness, and respect, hoping they will grow into compassionate human beings who stay far away from hatred and cruelty.

Yet despite all these years...

There is one truth I still cannot escape.

Deep inside, I still consider myself a criminal.

I pray to Allah every day, asking for His forgiveness.

I know I was responsible for my brother’s death.

But I also know that if my father had survived without consequences, his wealth and influence would have protected him once again.

Shakir—the man responsible for Azmat’s death and countless other crimes—would never have been held accountable.

My father also deserved punishment.

He had taken the lives of many innocent people.

He had tortured my mother, even though she had done nothing wrong.

Whenever I remember everything that happened, I still believe that I acted for justice.

But I also know that taking a life leaves a wound that never completely heals.

If my story has taught me anything, it is this:

A peaceful life is built with love, respect, and kindness.

Never envy another person’s happiness, because jealousy has the power to destroy an entire life.

Never judge people by their status or wealth.

Every human being deserves dignity and respect.

And never allow suspicion to control your heart.

Suspicion can turn the people you love most into strangers... and eventually into enemies.

Value your family.

Protect those you love.

Show kindness while you still have the chance.

Because no amount of wealth can replace the warmth of genuine relationships.

Hatred destroys.

Love heals.

And forgiveness is sometimes the greatest victory of all.
