This is a dark romance with a morally grey main male character. The series contains violence, swearing, sex scenes, BDSM, betrayal, miscarriage, mafia, crime, racial slurs against the FMC, as well as human trafficking, kidnapping, and sexual abuse themes.
Having said that, the intimate scenes between the female main character (FMC) and the main male character (MMC) are always consensual, no matter how hardcore they get.
I trust that you know your triggers before you choose to continue. If you are easily offended by any of the above triggers, I would advise choosing one of my sweeter books, like the Starling Sisters country romance series.
