Ramakrishna, commonly known as Ramu, is a farmer. However, he initially wanted to go into mechanical engineering but had to choose software as people said it had more scope.
After two years of his second daughter’s birth, he returned to his village to take care of his parents with his family.
He even helped people make farming easy by building machines. They never regretted this decision. In fact, they were happy they came back, as life in the village felt much more peaceful compared to the chaos of the city.
He had two daughters—Divya, the elder one, and Vidya, the younger.
His wife, Gouri, was an orphan in her childhood. Despite that, she grew up to be confident, intelligent, and well-educated. She worked from home for a well-known company and held a high position. She also had occasional business trips.
Ramu’s family supported her completely, showing their respect and understanding towards her ambition.
The elder daughter, Divya wanted to take care of her parents in the village and continue a peaceful life by farming, just like her father. Whereas the younger daughter, Vidya wanted to reach high heights, just like her mother. Neither of the parents opposed them. They always encouraged their daughters to follow their own decisions in life, and both had clear plans for their future.
The village felt like one large family, where people helped and supported each other irrespective of caste and religion.
but there was one mythical belief that if the door of the main temple of the village, that is the kali matha temple at night was opened, the goddess would curse the whole village.
There were three main persons in the village: the sarpunch of the village, purohit of the main temple of the village regional goddess, Kalimatha and Ramu’s family whose great- grandfather was zamindar of the village.
