Ablutophoia

My father had went to visit his girlfriend, leaving me alone for the night. I had the house to myself tonight. Which I don't get often, so I decided to shower.

I turned on the shower and started with the usual. I was rinsing my hair, something had pulled my attention. I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched.

Out of nowhere, I looked into the corner of the tub, but nothing was there. The bathroom was empty, despite the bathroom things. And clouds from the steaming hot water.

I shook the feeling off. As I finished my hair, the feeling came back. This time, I knew I saw something. I looked directly at the corner of the shower curtain. I could have sworn I saw a black figure.

I stared long enough that the water had turned cold. Almost freezing. I went to grab the handle, when my hand slipped and slammed on the glass wall.

I felt a strong vibration, and instead of draining, the water began to rise. It started to fill up past the tub.

I tried to feel around at the bottom for a plug, but there wasn't one anywhere. I tried to open the door, but as I looked up, every single crease has been filled with a thick black foam.

"What is this stuff?"

I felt the water fill up to my wrist. I tried to pull on the shower curtain. It felt sturdy enough to hold me. I pulled myself up, but my grip slipped and I dropped back into the soapy water. Along with the now ripped shower curtain.

The water was up to my chin. I was swimming. I tried to call for help, but it was useless. This predicament, and my mind was still pondering over what the figure was.

My attention was snatched when I heard the bathroom door rattle and slam.

"Hello?" I called. Beating on the glass as the water filled my lungs.

I could make out a dark figure, too tall to be human.

"Silly girl."

"Please help me!" I begged.

"I can't." It responded.

"How come?" I asked.

Everything blurred after that.
