Stupid Cupid

Summary

Oh no!

Out of nowhere, you’re struck by Cupid!

You don’t have much time before you fall in love. It’s hopeless, really . . .

That is, unless you can catch Cupid!

“You motherfucker!” Janie yelled as she took off after him.

There were a few things people thought they knew about Cupids, like how they stood for love and caring, or that they were little babies with wings, bows, and arrows.

Wrong!

Cupids were selfish “demigods” who spent their days laughing at the people they made fall in love, making sure it never worked out, either because the lust disappeared or because they fell for someone else.

The worst part was that they liked to catch you off guard.

Like Janie.

She had been coming out of her job when she was suddenly shot in the middle of her chest by an arrow.

Not just any arrow.

A Cupid’s arrow.

And it was already disappearing.

The wooden shaft had begun to dissolve beneath her skin, turning into a faint golden mist that slowly sank deeper into her chest.

Janie could feel every inch of it disappearing.

She didn’t know exactly how long she had before the arrow completely dissolved, but she knew what happened when it did.

The magic became permanent.

And she was not about to spend the rest of her life hopelessly in love with some random asshole who would probably have a wife he would never leave.

They loved that kind of shit.

“Move!” Janie shouted as she gave chase down the sidewalk.

Everyone who saw the arrow in her chest jumped out of her way. No one in their right mind wanted to get what she had right now.

Most likely, they thought she was crazy for trying to pursue a Cupid.

And she was crazy . . . for running in heels.

What they didn’t know was that if she could get to him and make him pull this arrow out before it completely dissolved, it would stop the spell.

With only a mild side effect of crippling loneliness.

But that was if she could catch the bastard.

Janie glanced down as she ran.

More of the arrow had disappeared.

“Fuck!”

She pushed herself harder, ignoring the burning in her lungs and the pain in her legs.

Because if the situation was dire enough, a bitch could surpass her limit.

After all, Janie’s life was finally on track. With her job, her friends, and her family, she didn’t have time for the gods’s messy bullshit.

Cupid turned onto a side street.

Making a quick right, Janie found him unfolding his wings from his very muscled back.

No!

She couldn’t let him take flight.

Popping off her heels, Janie ran as fast as she could, then jumped.

She grabbed onto his ankles.

“Let go of me!” he shouted, trying to kick her off. “You’re making me off-balance!”

“Not until you take this damn arrow out!”

They started to crash onto the top of the building.

When her feet touched the ground, she made sure to take him down with her. Grabbing at his wings, Janie pulled one of them down.

Letting out a cry of pain, Cupid hit the rooftop hard and rolled before trying to get back to his feet. His furious gray eyes found her quickly beneath his golden curls.

“Crazy bitch! What’s wrong with you?” he said as he slowly stood up straight.

“Take. It. Out.” She said each word slowly.

He rolled his eyes.

“You’re starting to piss me off.”

“Piss off? I’ll show you pissed off.” Janie said before she tackled him like an NFL player.

Damn it, that hurt like hell.

Fighting through the pain, Janie climbed on top of him, taking one of his arrows from his back and holding it up to his throat.

“Ow, ow, ow! You’re hurting the wings,” Cupid said, trying to shift positions.

When he tried to sit up, she pushed the arrow harder against his throat.

He froze, his gaze finally meeting hers.

“Take this damn thing out of my chest!”

“Fine,” he said, reaching up to yank the arrow out.

But it was too late.

“Oh well. Sucks to be you.”

He gave her a big smile.

Janie could feel the arrow taking effect.

Her heart suddenly squeezed.

Her anger wavered.

And then, without warning, warmth spread through her chest.

She looked at Cupid.

Really looked at him.

His misty gray eyes suddenly seemed mesmerizing.

His stupid golden curls looked soft.

And that arrogant smile . . .

God, she wanted to kiss it off his face.

Janie’s breath caught.

“No.”

Cupid’s smile widened.

“Oh, no, no, no.”

She was falling for him!

“A love-at-first-sight arrow? That’s just fucked up.”

He started to laugh.

“If you had just accepted your fate, you would be falling for a human right now.”

He shrugged.

Janie knew exactly what would happen next.

She would fall completely in love with him.

He would tell her everything she wanted to hear.

Then he would fly away, leaving her with a fate worse than heartbreak . . .

Yearning.

An embarrassment that would last for years.

Knowing he would leave her right here and now, Janie did the only thing she could do . . .

She stabbed him right in the chest.

Cupid’s smile disappeared.

Janie pushed the arrow down, forcing it deeper.

Cupid looked down, frozen in horror.

“You bitch!”

Janie smiled down at him, her heart already full of love and need for him.

“But I’m your bitch.”

Their lips collided desperately, leaving her with the taste of roses and chocolate.

“Take your clothing off,” he said, making her throw off her old work outfit before climbing back on him.

Cupid had somehow made his odd clothing disappear, giving him time to cup her breasts in his hands and making her cry out with a moan as his fingers sent heat down her body.

Pussy wet and ready, Janie rubbed herself against the head of his cock, sending shivers of pleasure through both their bodies.

“Sit that ass right here, baby.”

Cupid sat up, taking her nipples into his mouth, as he slowly forced her needy pussy to take all of him at once. Making her nails dis held him tight.

“God, you feel so good,” Janie said with a sigh of relief and a moan of pure delight.

“Good, because this is the only dick you’re ever going to have, do you hear me?”

He plunged deeper, making her moan out her yes.

Gripping her hips, Cupid slowed her down, making her whimper as she gripped his shoulder tighter.

Locking eyes with her, Cupid took control of their speed.

“Mmm, that’s it, baby. I want to watch you fall apart in my arms.”

Sucking in a breathy moan, Janie came while looking into Cupid’s eyes, enjoying the sight of him falling apart soon after.

Shuddering, Janie fell into his arms, only able to think about what a story this would make for their kids..
