Chapter 1
Subtitle: Where do his tiny paws wander when we aren't looking?
The day we welcomed a cat into our lives, he was nothing but a tiny, snow-white kitten. Noticing his sudden absence, I searched high and low, only to find him curled up fast asleep—snug inside a single crimson boot.
Though spring had only just arrived, a miniature hydrangea blossom was somehow nestled in his pale fur... Where in the world had his little paws wandered? Could the depths of that boot perhaps open into another dimension?
To cherish the moment, I carefully pressed the flower, turning it into a bookmark.
