Idiosyncrasy
I wonder sometimes—
We need something just because we want it
Or do we actually need that
This always leaves me in dilemma
And I can’t understand the enigma
We pray when we ache for it
When prayers are answered quick,
We are serene
When prayers are delayed,
Our desire gets frayed
That’s the problem of us
We always want something
And when we get it, we don’t feel it
And we think, ‘If it had been fulfilled earlier,
We would have been walking on air’
