NEIL AND JOHN

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

THE FIRST ACT: THE REVENUE OF THE HARBOR The story moves to a gritty, rain-slicked coastal harbor in Kerala. JOHN JESTON was a worker in a fish processing factory. He is a massive, unbending wall of a man. His defining trait is a terrifying, robotic calm. No matter how dangerous the situation gets, John never blinks, and his heart rate stays flat at an unyielding 60 BPM. John lives to protect his humble family: his friends wife Saranya, her little daughter Sana, and elderly boxing coach, Madhavan. Saranya’s dad John’s greatest worry is his younger brother, NEIL. Neil is restless, arrogant, and hates being poor. He deeply envies his wealthy cousins, Roy and Rony, who live in America. Upstairs on her brightly lit balcony, their mother, GRACE AUNTIE, looks down at John’s house with a fake, sugary smile. She represents high society and treats John's family like dynamic dirt. Desperate for big money, Neil starts working for VISHNU VARDHAN, a silent and dangerous corporate predator. Vishnu wants to destroy DAVID XAVIER, a highly loved, white-shirted local politician who is protecting the poor fishermen's land from a multi-million-dollar corporate resort project. Vishnu hires a sophisticated corporate agent named BHAGYA to pretend to be a government worker and trap David Xavier in a room at the Circuit House. Neil and the corrupt CI ASHRAF act as the boots on the ground, thinking they are just helping Vishnu set up a cheap sex scandal. The Hunt for Neil Begins: The first act Neil fails to return home. His phone goes completely dead. Fearing the worst, John steps out into the midnight monsoon drizzle. John relentlessly hunts for his missing brother through the darkest corners of the coastal belt—searching illegal country-liquor dens, interrogating local harbor thugs, and confronting Vishnu Vardhan’s youth-wing boys at a tea stall. John’s flat 60 BPM pulse remains unbroken as he uses raw, terrifying physical intimidation to search for a trail, completely unaware of how high the political game goes.

Chapter 1

SCENE NUMBER 1

As the scene opens

A stylish AI-generated video begins on a beautiful bridge in Kerala. A young man rides his sports bike at extreme speed while electronic music plays in the background. Another biker races even faster in a city road, followed by a third rider on a powerful superbike. The visuals are filled with glowing lights, cinematic shots, and stunning aesthetics, creating an exciting atmosphere.

Suddenly, one rider loses control and crashes badly. The broken bike slides across the road, and its large wheel slowly transforms into the tiny wheel of a child’s bicycle. The injured rider transforms into a small boy lying helplessly on the road. His mother runs toward him in tears, lifts him gently, and cries, “Oh, my son!”

SCENE 1.1

The emotional scene freezes, and the camera slowly zooms out to reveal that the video is being shown on a projector screen inside a modern driving awareness classroom, where future drivers watch silently and realize the importance of safe driving before receiving their licenses.

SETTING –

(In a bright, modern classroom filled with digital screen and comfortable chairs, the instructor stood confidently near the smart board, written road safety rules. some of the students seated attentively carefully with great interest some are not. The awareness class created a serious yet friendly atmosphere, helping future drivers of all ages to understand traffic responsibilities before appearing for their driving license test successfully)

Dialogue

Instructor – Good morning, everybody

“When you were a child, if you fell down, your mother would run to you with love, hold you close, and protect you from pain. But if you make the same mistake on the road today, riding carelessly and causing an accident, do you think life will give you that same comfort again?

Will someone always be there to save you?

One moment of reckless speed can destroy not only your life, but the lives of others too.

So don’t we have to drive responsibly? because roads do not forgive carelessness.”

The instructor notices a few students whispering and looking at their phones. He walks slowly toward them and speaks in a firm but calm voice.

Dialogue

“I know what some of you are thinking. ’We just need the attendance certificate… finish this class, for the license test, but this session is not here to waste your time. One day, when you are alone on a highway making a split-second decision, you will remember something from this room. And that one thought could save your life — or someone else’s.”

“I’ve seen accident photos I still can’t forget. Some of them were younger than you.”

The instructor looks around the room, then points toward a girl sitting near the middle row.

Dialogue

Before leaving home today, you made sure you looked good, right? You checked your hair, your dress… everything.”

The girl stays silent. Another student slightly raises her eyebrow, confused by the question.

The instructor continues calmly,

“Because all of us like to be noticed by other people. We want to present ourselves well. It gives us confidence in front of other people. We care about how others see us… because confidence makes us feel alive right.”

The instructor leans slightly against the desk and says with a casual smile,

“Imagine you’re wearing a stylish, beautiful outfit and going to a mall. Be honest… a part of you likes it when people notice you, right? Not in a bad way — but because it makes you feel confident, attractive, and seen.”

The classroom grows quieter as the students listen more carefully.

“That feeling is natural. Everyone wants attention, respect, or admiration in some form. But the problem begins when people start chasing attention in dangerous ways — especially on the road.”

The instructor’s expression turns serious. He slowly walks toward the screen and says,

“And sometimes, no matter how carefully you ride, you cannot predict the condition of the person coming from the opposite side. Maybe they are drunk… distracted… angry… sleepy… or simply irresponsible. We have studied many accident cases caused by just one careless decision.”

He presses a button, and a video begins playing on the screen.

SCENE 1.2

A young man rides his bike down a narrow road at high speed. From the opposite direction, a massive tipper lorry approaches. The biker keeps riding straight toward it, coming dangerously close within seconds. Just before impact, he suddenly swerves and changes direction at the last moment, narrowly escaping death. The entire classroom watches in complete silence. Ans the bike skidded to the road and made a big accident.

SCENE 1.3

He turns toward the class and says,

“This is not a circus stunt. This happened on a real road… with real lives at risk. Do you know why he rode like that?”

The classroom stays silent.

“Because some people believe danger is excitement. They think speed, risk, and near-death moments will make others admire them. But roads are not stages for performance. One small mistake — just one — and the story ends not with applause, but with sirens, blood, and regret.”

The instructor nods slightly and continues,

“Yes, he dead.…, I don’t exactly remember. But that’s not important.”

He looks around the silent classroom.

“What matters is this — for a few seconds of thrill and attention, he risked his own life

The instructor’s voice lingers as the scene slowly cuts away.

SCENE 2

A towering, skeletal staircase of a light house building rises into the night sky. Wind howls through its empty structure.

John appears, walking slowly up the endless steps, a beer bottle hanging loosely in his hand. One hand having a cigarette

(Bgm.Dum maro Dum Hindi song type)

Strange, distant mysterious music almost unreal, as if we inside his mind. Each step feels heavier, more isolated, more detached from reality.

He finally reaches the top. Without hesitation, he sits at the very edge of the building, legs hanging over the void below. No fear in his expression — only emptiness and a strange calm.

He takes a slow sip of beer and looks out over the glowing city lights, flickering far beneath him like a world he no longer belongs to.

MUSIC

SCENE CONTINUATION

John takes a slow sip of beer and stares at the glowing city lights far below him — distant, blurred, almost unreal, like a world he no longer belongs to.

The strange music grows louder and more distorted, blending with the sound of cold wind rushing through the abandoned structure.

The camera slowly pulls back.

Wider.

Higher.

Revealing the terrifying height beneath him.

John sits at the very edge of the unfinished building without the slightest hesitation, his legs hanging freely over the void. No trembling. No panic. No instinct to move away.

Only silence.

Only emptiness.

The city stretches endlessly below like a sea of flickering lights waiting to swallow him whole.

The music suddenly cuts.

SMASH CUT TO:

SCENE 2.1

EXT. VAGAMON SUICIDE POINT (KERALA TOURIST DESTINATION) - DAY

The mountain air is thick with mist, cutting through a crowd of loud tourists gathered around a commercial adventure valley bridge. A massive, deep gorge drops hundreds of feet below into a sea of green pine trees.

A young tourist stands strapped to a heavy bungee rope, clutching the iron railing with white knuckles. His chest is heaving violently, tears and sweat streaming down his face as the instructor counts down. The boy screams in pure terror, backing away, his body shaking with uncontrollable survival instinct.

JOHN stands a few feet away with Santosh and his friends, holding a half-empty water bottle.

John doesn’t laugh like the others. His face remains an absolute sheet of concrete, his vacant, unblinking eyes locked onto the crying boy. He tracks the boy’s trembling hands, his hyperventilating chest, and the raw panic in his eyes—studying the mechanics of fear like a scientist observing a strange, foreign phenomenon.

Without a word, John hands his water bottle to Santosh and steps forward.

JOHN

I’ll go next.

The instructor quickly straps the heavy mooring harness around John’s waist. John walks casually to the wooden ledge, looking down into the terrifying, endless void beneath his feet. His resting pulse sits at a dead, flat 60 BPM. Not a single muscle twitch.

The crowd grows quiet, sensing the sudden anomaly in his posture. No tensing up. No deep breaths. No bracing for impact.

John doesn’t wait for the countdown. He simply steps off the edge into the sky.

The camera tracks him in extreme slow motion as he falls through the mountain mist. His arms hang loose at his sides, his body perfectly relaxed, looking incredibly graceful and weightless against the vast green valley. He cuts through the air like a falling stone, his vacant eyes staring peacefully into the horizon as the rope unravels elegantly behind him—a moment of pure visual ecstasy born from an absolute absence of fear.

SMASH CUT TO

S 2.2

EXT. COASTAL BREAKWATER (DHANUSHKODI / THANKASSERY STYLE) - NIGHT

The concrete road narrows into a brutal, straight ridge paved with massive, black granite rocks cutting deep into the ocean. On both sides, the dark, violent waves of the midnight sea crash aggressively against the stone, throwing up thick white plumes of salty spray that coat the wet asphalt.

The heavy mechanical thud of the motorcycle engine erupts violently through the storm.

THUD… THUD… THUD…

John kicks his old Bullet into first gear, his hands locking onto the handles with an unshakeable grip. His face is an absolute sheet of concrete; his unblinking eyes fixed on the dead-end horizon where the road terminates sharply into the open sea.

He twists the throttle to its absolute limit.

The vintage machine launches forward with a ferocious roar, the heavy engine vibration tearing through the howling sea wind. The headlight cuts a sharp, erratic beam of yellow light through the driving rain as the bike accelerates harder—60, 80, 100 km/h—racing headfirst toward the edge.

AERIAL SHOT (TOP-DOWN HIGH ANGLE):

A striking, ultra-wide visual of the dark landscape. The narrow rock-paved strip sits perfectly centered in the frame, surrounded by the churning, pitch-black infinity of the ocean. John’s motorcycle is a tiny, speeding spark of light flying down the linear path like a missile tracking its target, showing zero deceleration as the literal end of the world approaches.

Back on the ground, the drop-off looms within meters. There are no barriers. No signs. Just the sudden vacuum of the black tide.

At the absolute last fraction of a second—where survival instinct would force any normal man to dump the bike sideways—John acts with clinical, mechanical precision.

He slams the rear brake and compresses the front handle.

SCREECH—!

The heavy Bullet fish-tails violently, the rear tire smoking and throwing up a blinding spray of hot rainwater and gravel across the dark rocks. The bike skids in a perfect, sweeping $90\degree$ arc, its heavy metal chassis grinding to a halt at the absolute edge of the breakwater.

The front tire rests barely an inch over the sheer void, suspended over the churning water below.

The engine idles with a low, hot purr. John remains seated perfectly upright, his hands loose on the controls, his chest rising and falling at a flat, resting 60 BPM. He doesn’t catch his breath. He doesn’t look back. He just stares calmly down into the dark, roaring abyss beneath his wheel, checking the emptiness inside his own heart.
