Athena
Me and Derek are the queen and king of all supernaturals. We are very powerful vampires, and we have abilities that no one else has. I’m also very pregnant with a baby girl that we named Seraphina. Seraphina will change the world with how powerful she will be. Me and Derek were watching TV, and I started to feel pain. I looked at Derek and said, “I think I’m about to go into labor, and we need to get to the hospital now.” He nodded his head and grabbed the baby bag, and we left to go to the hospital. Once we got there, the nurse looked at us and said, “You look like you’re going into labor. I will get Naida. Come on, let’s get you to the room.” The nurse got me a wheelchair, and we went to the room where I could give birth. I lay down in the bed, and Naida came in and asked me, “Are you ready to have Seraphina?” I smiled and said, “Yes me and Derek are ready to see Seraphina.” Naida smiled and said, “Start pushing.” That’s exactly what I did.
Derek
Athena started pushing Seraphina out, and Seraphina finally arrived. Naida handed Seraphina to us, and we both smiled. I looked at Seraphina, and I said, “Welcome to the world, little princess.” A nurse came in and said, “Let’s get Seraphina cleaned up and I will bring her back.”The nurse took Seraphina and we waited for hours and Athena said, “It’s been hours. Something doesn’t seem right.” I nodded my head, and I said, “I will be right back. I’m going to go look for the nurse.” Athena nodded her head, and I left to go look for Seraphina and the nurse who took her, but I couldn’t find them. Athena is right; something is very wrong, and I went to find Naida, and once I found her, I said, “Someone kidnapped Seraphina.” She looked at me and said, “I will call nine-one-one.” She rushed over to the phone and called the police while I continued looking for Seraphina, but I still couldn’t find her. I went back to the room and said, “Honey, I can’t find them, and Naida called the police.” Athena started to cry, and so did I. We didn’t know what else to do, and now we had lost Seraphina forever.
Twelve years later

I always knew I was different from my mother and my two brothers and the rest of my family. I know this because I have black hair with purple/blue eyes and black hair with purple/blue tips. My caseworker wanted a DNA test from my mother because of how different I look from her, but my mother left for Texas. I haven’t seen my mom since I was eleven, and now I am twelve years old and have been jumping from one foster home to another. Now I’m in a treament center and my caseworker has been trying to find me a home, but a lot of them are full. During my time in foster homes, I have been raped and abused, and it all started with my uncle when I was five years old. Once I turn eighteen, I’m going to go find my mother and get a warrant from the police to take a DNA test to see if she truly is my real mom. I hope it works out.
I looked out the window in the cottage that I am staying in, and I watched all the other kids play around. They told me not to go outside because Amara is on her way here. She said that she needed to talk to me about something, and hopefully she had found another foster home or adopted home for me to go to. I don’t want to be stuck here in this treatment center. I never told anyone, but one of the staff members raped me multiple times, and now I feel very unsafe here. I want to tell Amara and Sylvie, but I’m scared that he would come after me if I did, and I don’t want that. I need to get the fuck out of here.
